Belfor is a professional company with integrity. They subcontracted a new roof replacement 6 years ago after a tree fell and did substantial damage. 1 year later it leaked next to the skylight. The roofing co put tar on the corner of the skylight which worked for 5 years. Then during heavy rain this winter I had water dripping into my home again coming from the same spot.

I called Dyer skylights to reflash the skylight. Once they removed the flashing and shingles they discovered the felt was missing above the skylight which, of course, is the reason for the leak. Jeffery from Dyer offered to call the roofing co and let them know of the workmanship error. They refused to do anything about it since so much time had passed.

I called Allstate to let them know what was happening and they called Belfor (the original contractor). Belfor contacted the roofing company and convinced them to come out and correct their mistake. Needless to say I was very impressed with Dan at Belfor for fighting to have the roofing company fix the issue due to poor workmanship.

Dan also offered to repair the interior water damage around the skylight. I am amazed and appreciate the effort done by Belfor for stepping up and taking care of this problem. They could have easily said sorry too much time has passed by but instead they chose to stand up for their reputation

I would highly recommend them as a company you can count on.

This is the 2nd time in 3 months I needed a remediation company. The 1st time I used servpro. This time I used belfor. What a difference! Our basement floor that was flooded is spotless. Servpro, not so much.

Belfor repaired the damage to my home after an accident. The repairs that were done were fast and of good quality. The project manager, Jason, kept me updated on the progress of the repairs. I would recommend this company.

Belfor Property Restoration was the organization in charge of restoring my mother’s home. In my mother’s words “ They were all very polite, kind, patient and communicated well!” She said they were always on time. A big thank you to Lincoln, Ethan, Jason, Hunter, Daniel and the flooring crew!

No problem with their workers or the work done. They work hard and professionally. But, their invoicing and paperwork are totally unprofessional. Send invoices with amount, but no breakdown as to what you are paying for! And, figures do not match up to their estimates. Seems like this is done so they can adjust their figures to their advantage. Oh, and expect a final invoice after thinking you had paid everything ( about a month after making your "final" payment). They contact insurance to find out how much you were paid for repairs and bill you more than estimate to get all your insurance money. We were tired of waiting so long for them to finish repairs, that we decided to do the final repairs ourselves. On their estimates, the jobs we finished showed a total of $9100 or so, which assumed would save us money. HA! They made sure to get paid for it all even though they did not do work. DO NOT RECOMMEND BELFOR! THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES TO USE THAT WILL NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. SURPRISED THEY DID NOT TRY TO GET MONEY FOR OUR ITEMS LOST IN FIRE ALSO!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

I had a wonderful review written up but apparently Google does not have a sense of humor. I was going to rate Belfor a fat 0 when James was working with us. Our house fire was in July and James didn't do much from July until November/Decemberish. Around this time, James was gone and we had a new PM Jason R. He was absolutely amazing. He apologized for the previous PM we had and assured us he would make this right. We gave him a date of April that we wanted to be back into our house, which essentially gave him 4 months to make a miracle happen.

I'm happy to say that we were in by April 27th and we love the work he put into our house.

So, again, I would have given a 1 but Jason pulled through and he alone deserves the 5 stars. Would highly recommend.

I had hired Belfor to restore my house from water damage in 2010. Their original work was pretty good; I only had to had them correct a few things. However, about 6 months in, the new wood floors started to cup and warm pretty well. It got bad enough, about 6 months later I notified them of this and asked them to remedy. Someone came over and at least took a look, but their stance was that the concrete was not properly dried out yet before the new stuff was installed, and the gist was that it was not their problem.
Later I found that it was up to them to take moisture readings before laying the floor, but it past the window to file a complaint with the contractors board.
Needless to say, I am very disappointed that they did not stand behind their work. This will probably cost me at least $10,000 to replace the whole house.
Very disappointed. I would not recommend them.

Unfortunately, they sent someone unknowledgeable to my house to do give an estimate through my insurance company. I chose not to have Belfor complete the repairs, because I did not have faith that it would be done appropriately or timely. Regardless, they billed close to $600 just for writing an estimate and NO work was actually completed. I will be reporting to my insurance company as I do not see them as a reputable or trustworthy organization.

BELFOR has been an asset for my Oregon Portfolio for years. They are always fast to respond and communicate all phases of the jobs clearly. Taylor and Amie are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and always available. They’ve helped my clients and residents by restoring units quickly and properly while showing care and concern. The quality of work they provide speaks for itself. Whenever a disaster occurs, I’m confident knowing that BELFOR is just a call away from taking over and completing everything from start to finish.

The guys were great. They showed up when they said they would. They came within hours of my initial referral. My excellent insurance, Amica, called to recommend them and Balfor was already alerted and waiting for my call. Excellent coordination between insurance and first service to ascertain the condition of my initial call. They had the instruments to assess and I could read the numbers as they explained them. They went under the house to check for water damage, following up on the instrument assessment. I was updated at every step of the process. I was left with three big drying machines that had the water issue totally under control as well as removing damaged cabinetry which I also inspected and agreed with. They wrote up the recommendations they were planning on submitting to the insurance company. I felt confident and calm about the entire process. Considering I would face all the obstacles of having to replace cabinets, countertops and flooring, my initial experience with a potentially hazardous situation was handled well before any damage was done. Yes, I"m glad to recommend Balfor. I felt in control and well informed of the process.

Working with Belfor was wonderful. They were very professional and did everything to make sure my home was restored properly. Lead by Dan Pruneda, Joe, Ryan and the rest of the crew saw that every detail was taken care of completely. I would not hesitate to have them work on my home in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

I had Belfor do some water / flooding cleanup and was going to also have them install my flooring due to a recommendation from my insurance company. After having the cleanup done I was put on a schedule 6 weeks away from the date they tore my flooring out of my kitchen. In the mean time, I was in charge of finding my flooring and subsequently ordering it through Lowes building materials because it was left up to my wife and I if we wanted to have it installed as soon as possible. I called The project manager and had him talk to the salesman to give him an account number to bill it to. After having it ordered, the project manager set a date for install and it fell during a time that my family had COVID 19 so I asked them to release me of my contract and I would do the flooring myself. They agreed since there was no date to predict when our household would be uncontageous and able to have people in the house to do the work. We were on lockdown for 7 weeks total.. They agreed that they didn't need to put thier employees at risk of becoming sick and allowed me to get out of it. Then I received a bill in the mail from them for 1300.00 for the job that they never did. It was marked "final notice" but I never received a first notice. I was given 10 days from the date of the letter to respond or I would be held liable for the total amount on the bill.. I was charged for 12 hours of labor @ 64.00 / hr. for scheduling subcontractors and ordering a storage pod to be dropped off in my driveway (200.00 total with pick up and delivery). I called and asked to talk to the project manager about my ridiculous billing and they sent me to someone else that was in charge of phase 1. I asked him to get the right person to call me and he said that he would have him call me immediately. That was 4 weeks ago and I have yet to hear from them. I have asked several times for him to get in contact with me because whenever I call his phone I have to leave messages because he won't take my calls. There is a lot more I should mention, like the fact that they were billing my insurance 11,000.00 to install aptox. 600 square feet of pergo click lock flooring (3500.00 for materials / 7,800.00 labor) which took me around 24 hours (3 days) to install by myself. Belfor is not trustworthy and I highly recommend going with serv-pro instead. Best of luck with this company. It's all been nightmares for us.

Belfor was recommended by our insurance company to restore a kitchen that was totally lost to a water leak. From the start through restoration completion, the company personnel were professional, responsive and customer oriented. One crew was devoted to the job and their workmanship was exceptional! We would not only use this company again but also refer it to friends. Belfor managed our catastrophic event with detailed organization and creative expertise.

Belfor’s workmanship is high quality. They mitigated our kitchen water damage in short order and worked with us to keep the kitchen functional the whole time. We had delays getting the repairs/reflooring done, some of which resulted from our concern over Covid (crews coming and going throughout the house) and some of the delays from Belfor’s revolving door of project managers. Once we had a firm deadline (sale of our house) and Dan entered the picture, things got done in lightning speed. He was great on logistics and had a sincere interest in keeping us well informed and happy. We now have new floors (good carpentry by Belfor) and it looks top-notch.

Belfor restored my fire damage to my home 🏡 and I was very satisfied with the work performed. Jason Reeves project manager keep me up on the progress by sending me pictures of work that's been done.
I would highly recommend Belfor Restoration.

When I had a major flood that soaked all three stories of my house, Belfor came and did a good job drying out my house over the course of three weeks. At my request, they also provided a comprehensive estimate for repairing my house. However, they have been very non-responsive to my requests to have them proceed with the repair work. For more than six months I have called and emailed them repeatedly, and they haven't responded. Very strange. I am now seeking estimates from other restoration companies. Very frustrating to be delayed so long because of Belfor's radio silence—I wish I had switched gears and sought out a different contractor to work with sooner.

In September, due to a burst shut-off valve, we came home to a flooded laundry room that also has gotten into our hallway, 2 bedrooms, a closet, and a den. After shutting off the house water valve, we immediately began sweeping water into the garage and grabbed our carpet cleaner to extract water. In the meantime, Gary contacted Belfor Restoration for help. In no time at all, two big vans and crews arrived with extracting equipment, dryers and dehumidifiers. The plumber also came right out to cap the laundry sink, the source of the leak. This was in the evening. Fast forward a couple months later, we give each and every person at Belfor a 5 star! Everyone worked diligently, from the office to the restoring staff, through each phase needed. Expectations were above and beyond. We're thankful to meet and know such talented and nice people! They actually restore peoples' lives. Also, Belfor's work with our insurance company went smoothly. This could been a long nightmare, but because we had a capable and caring company to work with, all turned out great. Our damaged areas look beautiful. Thanks, Belfor!

After a large structure fire, I contacted BELFOR to help secure the property and deal with the water in the building. Not only was this early in the morning, it was also on a holiday. From the first phone call, I knew that BELFOR was the right decision. The response time was fantastic and the crew was so helpful. Tim arrived to the location and was informative about the next steps. Erik went above and beyond to help my tenant's retrieve their belongings inside the building and even drove a vehicle out of the garage. Denton kept me updated on the process and let me know when he found a missing cat in one of the units. The entire team worked tirelessly on securing the building and making sure that all my requests were met. Thank you all for your amazing service! I couldn't have asked for a better team to help us through this mess.

We had BELFOR come out after our sump pump pipe came apart and flooded our whole basement. We really appreciated how professional the mitigation team was and how careful they handled all our belongings during pack out. Demo was handled quickly and efficiently and Daniel did a great job with hanging all the new drywall, taping, and texture. Denton and Dan were both easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any questions with what we believe to be full transparency. We would certainly use them in the future if needed.

Mike saved us! Our project had languished for eight months. He swooped in and had it finished and perfect in less than a week! Incredible speed and service and he always went the extra mile trying to get us the best deal possible. Seriously a modern day superhero. You’ll never regret working with him!
