First, the pros:  The second tech that came out (Eric) was kind, professional, courteous. Did a great job of reassuring us and going over options from most to least aggressive

Now the cons: When the FIRST tech came out, he inspected the French drain from the outside and told us that it was clogged and needed to be cleared by water jet. The quote was 625 dollars. He was able to get it “down” to 450, but (yeesh).  After we agreed, an attempt was made where we wer informed it was full of dirt and debris and they needed the expert (Eric). Eric took one look at the exterior of the French drain and said “yeah there are debrees, these drain out into the dirt and get infiltrated pretty easily and never communicate with the sewer line”.  This is apparently common knowledge for corrugated drains that the first tech neglected to tell us.

Long story short, we were sold on a drain that might communicate with the sewer line being clogged when it clearly was not; all for the small price of 450! (down from 625).  We ended up just cutting and plugging the French and its doing great.  We left the experience feeling taken advantage of. Live and learn.

Denys replaced my water heater and did a great job. He showed up on time, was professional, and knew exactly what he was doing. The installation was clean and efficient, and he took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. Everything is working perfectly. I’d definitely recommend Denys to anyone who needs water heater or plumbing work.

Today’s visit with Michael was exceptional. He was professional, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. He was willing and able to look at more than one issue and resolve them all the same day! Enjoyed having him as our plumber. Highly recommend him and will request him in the future.
