I hired Boones Ferry electric to wire a home addition and the price was competitive but after a couple of days on the job rumors were floating around that they had underbid the project and consequently we went from being able to meet our schedule to they could not send men to our project for 3 weeks to complete because I did not answer an email until an 1 1/2 hours later. Jan at this time began communicating after his Project Manager/ Estimator stopped replying to my emails and phone messages. They then began coming up with any excuse to not complete the work, including scheduling issues, man power, and wanting a new electrical plan due to some minor changes that included eliminating 13 can lights and only adding 3 switches and 3 light fixtures that we were providing. Jan then came back with an additional cost stating that it cost more to add than to subtract since the fixtures were in a vaulted ceiling, well the cans were as well, which by the way they were to provide. This is a very unprofessional company to deal with, it sounds like they mostly do work on time and material because they underestimate most jobs. Their Project manager didn't even know that a main power disconnect would be needed when moving the service to another location.
I could never recommend this company to anyone.

Jan and Dan are very un-professional and very argumentative making accusations claiming that they never make mistakes.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They've done work in the past for me, but I called them again and they were incredibly rude just on the phone. Spoke to two different people, both cut me off multiple times before I could even get my question out. Work was decent in the past, but I will never use them again based on their phone customer service. Not only did they cut me off, when they did speak, they were incredibly rude. I'll make sure to spread the word to family and friends.

As an electrical engineer, I called these folks up to consult on an electrical issue I was having. They were happy to talk with me for a couple minutes to help troubleshoot the issue I was having. They offered to also setup an onsite visit if I was unable to resolve the issue on my own. I'd heard of this outfit through the grapevine. I'm pleased to say their reputation is well earned.

The ONLY company I could find that would come look at my elderly father’s home. All other companies were 8 weeks out! This was an emergency situation. So grateful to this company for coming out on a two day notice. Highly recommended

READ THIS POST!!! Called three contractors, gave them my scenario over the phone, all three were absolutely dumbfounded and wanted to schedule an electrician $$$ I call Boones, described my problem and I’m seconds the guy over the phone told me what the issue clearly was (a separate GFI on the garage. Old 1980’s house) and one button reset push later I just saved hundreds. Thank god for Boones Ferry and let’s just say that the next time I actually need an electrician, no doubt I’m calling these guys because of their ethics.

I’ve been helped by Dan Hall several times and he is literally the best of the best! Very knowledgeable and helps remedy the problem quickly. Definitely my #1 call anytime I may need it, I highly recommend them!

3 years ago we had our well put in. Boones Ferry Electric installed the 200 am service for the well house. They were on time, did the job professionally and has been working great. The added a generator input outside the well house and I did not have them make the cord for the connection. This year 2020 we had the wind storm and fires in the cascades and our power went out for 3 days. Stan Herron gave me the proper information on what to buy at Platt electric. got the parts and we now have well water for the horses.

I grew up watching my dad work as an apprentice, grow into a project manager and now owner. Boone’s ferry is a company you can trust and feel confident in.

I had a great experience with this company. My first time using them or any electrician in the area. Needed two chandeliers replaced at a height of 15 and 20 ft. The electrician, John, was timely, professional, and thorough. He replaced two junction boxes that were not up to code in my 31 yr-old house which left me reassured that the new, much heavier chandeliers would be safely hanging there without fear of failure. He also diagnosed an external fixture that had stopped working and was able to get it working for me again. I highly recommend Boones Ferry Electric.

Boones Ferry Electric has worked for us on several major home remodeling projects including wiring our home for internet. Their work has always been excellent. Chris, Adrian and Jamie were the electricians that worked in our home. They were wonderful folks and gave us excellent advice as well as completing projects on time and efficiently. Boones Ferry Electric is the one you want. I had work done in my garage for an EV charger and a electric oven outlet. They did it right. The conduit runs are laser straight and the overall work done was superb. I would have no second thoughts about having them do any electrical work you need.

We've used Boones Ferry Electric for several jobs at our home and are very happy with the work and their electricians. Cameron was at our home last week and we were very pleased with the work - he called ahead, he walked us through the job and patiently answered our questions, and he showed us the finished work and testing.
