Paving Contractor reviews across the US

Dalton Construction exceeded my expectations when laying my pavers. Alex came out and worked with us to give us ideas on how to lay pavers, where to lay them, and what color, design, and pattern we should use. Not only did he have photos and videos of his previous work, but he was also prepared with catalogs to show us different options. Being able to visualize what your backyard will transform into is very helpful when making an expensive purchase. Once a game plan was developed, supplies were ordered, and work began the next week. The team arrived early, worked hard, took advice, and got the job done properly. Alex was honest and comforting every step of the way. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone I know. I actually have my own friends asking for his contact information because they love it so much! If you’re having doubts, this is your confirmation that Dalton Construction is 100% the right move!

I am fairly new to the DFW area (three years), so I don't really have any idea who is good or not for small construction, yard, house type projects. Over the last three years I have had several "bad" experiences with other contractors. For my latest project, a travertine pathway, I again googled and found Dalton Construction and went with them. Why? They were quick to respond, they provided a good price and were able to complete my job extremely quick. What was the result? An absolute fabulous job on my backyard pathway. I couldn't be happier. There was even a piece that I didn't quite like, and Alex immediately came out and replaced it to my liking. Further, previously I had another contractor put fencing around my pool equipment. They did a terrible job for relatively high price. I had Alex take a look at the fencing and propose a re-do of the pool equipment fence. He again came in with a great price and quickly did the job. I am extremely happy with how it came out. Dalton Construction has earned my trust and I plan to use them for future projects. Based on the work they did for me, I absolutely, 100% recommend this company for any potential project you may have. I rarely, if ever, write reviews. So, me writing this says a lot on its own. Thanks Alex and team for a job well done!

Dalton Construction did an incredible job installing turf in our backyard. Great communication, fast and professional work, and the turf looks fantastic. My son loves playing on it—we couldn’t be happier!

Dalton Construction is one of the best in the industry. Very professional and fast to respond to your needs. No matter the size of the project, they always deliver with quality work.

Dalton Construction was efficient, professional and all together excellent to work with. Alex made time to evaluate our project at our convenience and was timely with all communications. He explained the process throughly from beginning to end. His crews were clean and on time. The end result was the cherry on top. We are in love with our patio!

Dalton Construction transformed my backyard far beyond what I could have imagined. I reached out to have the decomposed granite in my backyard replaced with turf. Alex and his team not only gathered the materials and installed the turf, they also helped me decide which turf would be best for my situation (dogs and kids), sourced the materials, transported it, installed it, and provided tips and information for upkeep. Alex even helped me find ways to save money by sourcing from specific vendors and creatively utilizing my decomposed granite. I came for a simple turf installation and left with a new backyard that looks like it was designed by a landscape architect.

Dalton Construction recently completed a hardscape project in my backyard/pool area, and their work far exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail and quality is unrivaled. Not only did they exceed my expectations with the hardscape, but they also completed the project a few days ahead of schedule and stayed well within my budget. Alex Dalton was unbelievably easy to work with, as he walked me through the entire process and was attentive to all my questions throughout. I cannot recommend Dalton Construction enough.

The before & after photos speak for themselves… had the best experience with Dalton Construction! Efficient, professional and accommodating describes working with them. Fantastic job cleaning up my front walkway - would recommend to anyone in DFW wanting quality work done at the house.

Our gas fire pit turned out great! Timely and transparent communication, and they worked with us for a custom shape they had not done before. We tied the fire pit into an existing wall, and everything looks like it was designed and built together. Highly recommend the Dalton Construction team!

I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with the backyard renovation Dalton Construction did for my mom’s backyard! He created a wonderful outdoor living space. Alex is a pleasure to work with - very responsive and professional. Handles challenges with a calm demeanor- and construction projects always have challenges pop up. I interviewed several companies for this project and Dalton was clearly heads above the others on all aspects of the job - price, quality and timeliness.
Looking forward to using Dalton on future projects!

I highly recommend Dalton Construction. Alex Dalton is extremely kind, personable, communicative, and thorough. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and makes sure you’re informed throughout the whole process. He truly listens to what you want and delivers it with care and efficiency (and without cutting any corners). I will definitely be using Dalton for any other work we need around our house and hope anyone reading this decides to as well. I know you’ll be as pleased as we are. Cheers!

Alex and his team totally transformed our backyard! We had a very old, small '80s exposed aggregate slab which we replaced and enlarged with beautiful natural stone pavers. Alex provided phenomenal customer service with frequent check-ins, on-site visits and constant communication. He answered all our questions and brought our vision to life. The job was done incredibly fast and we could not be more pleased! All around great price, service and results! We cannot wait to enjoy our outdoor space for years to come. Highly recommend. A huge thank you to Alex and The Dalton Construction Team!

We are thrilled with the patio Dalton Construction designed and installed in our backyard! Alex and his team impressively excavated and built this gorgeous paver patio in one day with amazing craftsmanship and skill. They went above and beyond to deliver our request for same level with the sidewalk and driveway with smooth transition right into the grass! They sealed the pavers, rerouted sprinklers and even sodded around making every detail perfect! Professional, quality, great price and delivered with great care. Highly recommend! Alex at Dalton Construction is amazing at talking through a project and figuring out how to make your vision come alive. I highly recommend meeting with him for whatever you may be planning.

Alex and his team did a phenomenal job on our patio. We told him what our vision was and he made it so much better than what we imagined on our own, plus he did it cheaper than other quotes we received. Thank you so much for making our patio functional and enjoyable. We love it and highly recommend Alex and Dalton Construction

Dalton Construction installed about 550ft^2 of pavers along my driveway and leading up to my front porch. The attention to detail was off the charts, and it shows. There's not a single paver misaligned or out of level. Luis and his crew did an amazing job, and they'll be my first call for any additional work in this field.

Alex Dalton from Dalton construction was truly amazing to work with during my project. They did the coping and decking for my new pool which included laying travertine over my previous concrete patio and portions of grass, along with coping on a fiberglass pool. The before and afters say it all. Alex went above and beyond to come out and work with the other trades of the pool install to get the height and slope correct. They were quick to get the job complete, only 2 days. I would highly recommend!

Alex and his team at Dalton Construction built the outdoor living space we needed. From design to completion, Alex listened to us, added ideas, and was there every step of the way throughout the entire project. His teams are professionals and do an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Dalton Construction. Before and after pics below.

Alex and his team was incredible to work with! Alex was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. He gave timely updates and helped give us ideas for our backyard project. His team redid our entire fence, installed a sliding gate, ripped up old pool decking and replaced with a new paver patio, modified our existing pergola, fixed drainage issues, and installed turf. His team is incredibly hard working and worked around rain delays and other weather situations to remain ahead of schedule. We would recommend working with Alex to anyone!

I cannot say enough great things about working with Alex at Dalton Construction. We had wanted to redo our backyard that had a pond that had gotten out of control for a very long time.

We had some ideas as to what we wanted but not the complete picture. We found Dalton through a google search of other contractors and found his great reviews. We contacted him and saw that he was responsive in coming by to see the scope of work we were looking for, provide a vision from his previous experience and a give an overall estimate.

The process and work was great throughout. Alex was present to help answer questions we had and was responsive to modifications we suggested along the way.

We love the finished product.

Dalton construction was the best decision made for my patio cover. I found this company through google search. Alex (owner) responded to my inquiry right away, and even made time to meet with me the same day. Alex was very professional and highly knowledgeable. He was highly involved in the build process and was available to be reached and answer any questions or concerns. His crew were very polite and professional. If I had to do this again; I would not look elsewhere.
It was pure joy working with Dalton construction.
