A total ZEN experience. I've been experienced with professional landscaping services since 1970's. I came across this company by accident. I had a specific idea with my backyard and how the Koi Pond was to look. I made my initial consultation with the owner of Zeek landscape and design back in February pre-covid-19. As I laid out my design, Mr. Zeek provided some useful insightful observations in regards to water drainage and types of plants to complement my ideas. I provided my budget and little wiggle room just in case I went over budget. Mr. Zeek gave me a detailed description of what I could expect.
About a month went by before I heard back from him with the over project and scope. His design was nothing short of spectacular. I gave Mr. Zeek freedom with the money and when we spoke at my property, it was much clearer that Mr. Zeek had a much poignant and relaxing design for my backyard pond. Throwing caution to the wind, I said to Mr. Zeek, " You do what you want !" He knew after many conversations what I was looking for.
His team was very professional and kept things tidy everyday after they left my property. I'm so pleased with the results, that I have spent more time outside relaxing with my Koi Pond and garden, that I forget the time of day!
Zeek Landscape and Design should be called " Zeek Landscape artistry!"
I would say if you have the money, and want a Something that you will enjoy for generations to come, then look no further.
* as a side note: I spoke with 4 other landscaping companies and although a few others were cheaper, I took into account material, look of previous projects done by others and time constraints.

Chris and his team did such a great job!! We had a small area we were looking to maximize and he helped us with the architectural aspects, all while keeping our budget in mind. So timely and professional, would absolutely recommend!

Chris and his crew took our perfectly mediocre 1/2-acre back yard area and transformed it into something wonderful. Given the incredible things he is capable of creating (just peruse his website and you'll see), ours was probably more of a routine installation of (a) border arborvitaes fronted by ground-hugging shrubs and flowers, (b) shed and stone walkway, (c) patio-area border flowers, and (b) a river birch and dogwood. But the thing is: Chris not only installs a landscape, he imagines the spaces, big and small. He is truly an artist! An artist who understands that beauty must work alongside structures and other process (lots of drainage issues, in our case, which he thoroughly addressed). My wife and I cannot recommend Christopher Zeek Landscape Design and Construction highly enough!

Probably the most collaborative contractor I have had the opportunity to work with. From design to pricing installation and creation, we work together to fulfill the vision that we had. They treated our property as if it was their property and took all of our considerations into account. They met the schedule that we talked about and their pricing was fair and justified. I would highly recommend using them for any patio or hard, scape project or landscaping that you have. In today’s world it was very refreshing to find a responsive & trustworthy contractor to work with.

We gave Chris a fairly blank canvas on which to work – only a few “must have’s”. The design was as unique as it was stunning and he delivered on each aspect, and then some. If you want someone who pays attention to details and has an eye for important design elements to provide you with beautiful and custom landscaping and hardscaping, Chris is your guy. I was impressed not only with Christopher Zeek’s craftsmanship, but also with how easy it was to work with him on bringing my idea to fruition. Each step of the process was smooth, from him 3D modeling the project, to sending down payment, communicating on when the new fence would be installed, cleaning up the garden around the fence (leaving it better than how he found it) and final payment. I highly recommend his services. He goes above and beyond.

Zeek Landscaping created a design for around our patio. Chris inquired about some specifics of the type of plantings I wanted When the design was complete it was perfect with loads of flowering plants. Three months later it is a beautiful oasis of flowering plantings that have filled in nicely. I will definitely use Chris again for any additional landscaping in the future.
In addition to the landscaping Zeek Landscaping also beautifully edged all our beds and topped them all with mulch.

After over a decade of worrying about water flooding into our basement window wells every time it rained, we arranged a consultation with Chris, who outlined a clear plan to help deal with all of the standing stormwater on our property. His crew was professional and courteous, and went above and beyond our expectations. Chris was great to work with. I worked with Zeek Landscaping to remove 8-9 trees. Him and his team came on time, took care of the work as described and left it nice and neat.
