The plumbing situation I had was that I couldn't turn off the "inside home whole-house valve", and the curb stop valve refused to budge at all. Obviously, this is a problem not only for current construction plans but also for the overall lack of a way to shut off the water supply, which is highly undesirable.

Ricky came and gave me an estimate that I could swallow after I had received a couple of unreasonable estimates with extra superfluous work baked in. It's a good thing I didnt go with one of those estimates including a "half-main" replacement from the curb stop to the main. After the crew arrived, they cut the sidewalk and excavated down to the curb stop valve. They then found that mixed concrete had somehow gotten underneath the curb stop valve. The concrete situation must have predated my ownership, as no concrete work had been done in front of the home since I bought it. As it hydrated and cooled, it created a block that prevented the nut on the bottom of the valve from turning. Once they cleared the block out, the original curb stop began to turn freely and function as expected. As part of the job, I'd asked that the "inside home whole house valve" be replaced, which the crew also did flawlessly. The entire engagement worked out better because they didn't have to replace the curb stop, and therefore didn't have to crimp the ingress Type K copper to stop the flow while they made the replacement.

10/10 would call again in the event of a plumbing situation beyond my own capabilities!

Plumbing Pals was fantastic. I had a leak from the main water line in the basement and they came out within hours and installed a new valve. I’d highly recommend them.

WHO CAME WITHIN 30 minutes. This gentleman is such an absolute professional and skilled plumber who immediately assessed and obtained all necessary parts and fixed the problem with perfection. I am so pleased, that I already referred Plumbing Pals to a family member today. I had a damaged and leaking shower head assembly. Plumbing Pals were able to diagnose the problem, order the replacement parts, and replace the damaged assembly. Anthony and Joe were quick, efficient, and explained the work they did. They also gave me the information I needed to address any potential future problems.

Alan was great. So knowledgeable and quick (not that quick is a criteria but I was happy it was completed fast). Not sure if the price was reasonable since I have nothing to compare it to, but I’m happy with Alan’s work

Hello! I do not rate or give reviews especially when it comes someone doing the job you pay them to do. I have say it rare but when you actually get what you pay for and more... I needed a boiler replacement. So I called plumbing pals. When I say From the START it was an easy extremely easy process. Shout out to Big Tim for the reference!!! They where great professional knowledgeable clean fast!!! Can't say enough about these guys! So if your looking for the right someone for your plumbing needs.....
I paid got what I paid and more. I have a company that I can trust in the future a company that treated like one of there own.. its nice to know there still is companies out there like plumbing pals!
