McGovern Lawn Service makes the process super simple - weekly automatic invoicing and bill pay means hands off management. Their team is super accommodating when we forget to move our stuff out of the way. And any inquiry is responded to in a timely manner. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Really great work! They cut our grass and recently did yard maintenance and were pleased with both services.

Wow, McGovern really pulled through for me on this!

A busy schedule set them back and flower beds got overgrown, and I went through and hoed out a lot of grass/weed runners. But when they fit the job in, they went above and beyond to fix a broken gate latch for me. They also replaced one of the flowers I'd put in that got destroyed, made it right with the bill, and promised to more closely supervise the work in the future. So I'm happy to recommend them.

They've done OK work in the past. Back when they mowed, they were consistent, but broke a drain extension tube I'd put on the shed gutter drain. They have also done the mulch beds in the past, mostly good but one of their workers clowned around with the water fountain in the back and broke it. I didn't bring that one up since I didn't care about it.

However, they've left me in a lurch now. In March I approved an estimate for them to mulch the beds this spring. Said they could do it mid-April.

After April, I contacted them every couple weeks or so about when it may happen. Glen said every time "it'll be late this week or early next week." Mid-June came and went and I've given up on them. The beds are now overgrown and the yard is a mess. I will not go with them again and can't recommend.

I ordered a cord of mixed hardwood (Sept 2024) and these guys were great to work with.

No complaints other than I may have to cut a few sticks down to fit in my wood stove. I’ll be a repeat customer!

I’ve had the pleasure of having Glenn and his team help me with the large bushes out front that were completely taken over by 5 or 6 different weeds. I asked if they would remove the bushes, cut them down to the ground and apply mulch. They were very experienced and did a great job! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with landscaping. Also since the flower bushes had grown out into the lawn they applied grass seed and all! I will definitely call on them again!

I left for the day when this amazing crew was just getting started. I came home this afternoon to see my perfectly mulched acre + property. They took such care in the flower beds not to harm any of the perennials that are just coming up. Everything was beautifully edged. My yard has never looked better. If more than 5 stars were possible, I would have given them more!

Michael and his team did and awesome job helping us clean up our property, final grading and seeding after a large addition we had put on. They were fast and the property looks great. Thanks!
