I bought a brand new indoor goodman furnace and outdoor AC/Heatpump and had it installed in the spring of 2018 by a different HVAC company. The compressor went out in July of 2022 and Goodman sent me to Johnson's as a certified warranty repair center. Goodman sent the new compressor for free but Johnsons charged, I think, $1800 for labor, refrigerant and shipping. We thought that everything was fine until this summer the AC is not keeping up. Another HVAC person came to inspect the problem and identified a list of serious incompetence on the part of Johnsons that is going to require a complete replacement of our system. When the warranty repair men replaced the compressor they claimed that their was no filter dryer installed and that they needed to add one to the line. The brazing was done so poorly that all the paint is bubbled. An HVAC person knows that the paint on the dryer keeps it from rusting and prematurely failing and that if burned should be replaced or repainted. There is corrosion and oil at both seals of the filter where the brazing was done. This means that we are not cooling because the refrigerant has leaked out. Unfortunately it cannot just be filled because, worst yet our unit came with a preinstalled filter dryer that they worked right next to the entire time they were replacing the compressor and it is bright blue. Two filter dryers on our short run of lines, first causes extra work and energy cost, and second they never changed the contaminated filter dryer which means the vacuum, recovery, new refrigerant was a complete waste and it has run through our coils, our new compressor, our lines it is all junk. They sucked years off the life of our unit and even with a very costly repair it is a matter of time before we are replacing major components due to their faulty install.
Johnsons answer was if it was their fault we should have known about it sooner, and they hung up. I will try to attach pictures to the review, if it will not look in general photos for Johnsons they will be there.

We've been customers of Johnson's Heating & Cooling for over 8 years now. They always provide excellent, and fast service. They just installed a new Rheem 14 SEER Air Conditioning system at our home and replaced our old system that was running on R22 refrigerant, which was not environmentally sound. The new Rheem 14 SEER AC is safer for the environment and cools our home more efficiently, at less cost. These guys are the professionals you need to call with any HVAC concerns. Great Job! Excellent work!

Have used this place for years. 18 years ago when I bought my first house, they replaced my old furnace that was leaking harmful fumes - they did a good job at a good price. Just recently, they replaced a leaky line in my water heater - quick, efficient, good work at a good price. Every experience I've had with this company has been good (from how they interact with customers, to the service they provide, to the quality of the work). I cannot recommend them enough, a phenomenal company.

Great job! Called on a Saturday for a dead hot water heater and they were at my house with a new one (Under warranty) at 9am on Monday morning. The guys were great and super professional. Not the least expensive service but you pay for quality!

Our boiler quit working early Saturday morning. We called in the morning and by noon the boiler was back on line. Very professional and courteous service. The technician was top notch! I will recommend Johnson's Heating &Cooling to anyone with heating or cooling needs.

Cleaned my very old furnace and said the noise wouldn't resolve because of how old the system is but he in fact solved the noise problem with the cleaning of the flue and chimney! Also was on time and friendly So 5 stars...

We won't be using anyone else but Johnson's Heating and Cooling. Since finding them they have walked us through an emergency plumbing situation (so that we didn't have to pay the emergency fee on a Sunday), fixed the plumbing situation the following day during business hours, and most recently fixed and replaced some heating elements on our hydronic heating system. They are super knowledgeable, no fuss, and fast. Very friendly staff from the people I've spoke to to schedule appointments to the workers that come to the house. Thanks so much for trustworthy and no nonsense work.

Tech showed up within the appointment time period. Took picks and checked my furnace. Was able to identify the problem and fix it within 10 minutes. We have heat again. So amazing. Tech was very nice and polite. Definitely recommend for anyone for hearing needs.
