Don't look any further when searching for a reputable company to remove your tree/s. My beloved Willow was fallen by the recent heavy winds, I was diligent in my search for a company to clean up the mess. Rick's Expert Tree Service promptly came and gave me an estimate. They were the most reasonably priced, and did a fabulous timely job. I was patient with the timing of the stump removal which took an additional week of time, but the main part of the tree was removed within days of my contracting their services. Highly recommend.

Called Ricks to get a quote and removal of a tree. They provided a price $150 cheaper than another company. Showed up early and removed the tree (as they had a crew in the arear) and said they'd be back to remove stump at a later date. 1 week later crew was there with stump grinder. Very happy with service and cleaned up all debris. Would defiantly use again.

After a storm blew half a tree down, we decided to remove all 4 old trees around the house. We choose Ricks for the reviews we read here though their price was not lowest. When we decided to hire them and called, the lady said it may take some weeks to come out. This is noon Friday. In the evening, I got a message saying they will cut the trees tomorrow at 7:30AM. No problem, I understand you should squeeze work in to get more business though we have plans on Saturday morning.
On Sunday morning, we saw 3 trees cut and removed. However, there is one tree in the front yard with a one man tall stump and several big trunks laying around on the walk path, no crew was in sight. My wife called several times on Sunday and Monday with no response. Halloween is on Tuesday. We got ready to call the township before kids would run around trick-or-treating. On Monday evening, we finally get email from Ricks saying they will remove the mass on Tuesday morning which they did as promised.
One weeks later, they came back with the stump grinding in the front yard. The grinding went smoothly but they left the big pile of ground. When my wife ran out to remind them to remove the pile, the gentleman said it’s not part of deal that we only paid for grinding not removing. (but you removed trees without arguing. This maybe the practice but they specifically asked if I want to pay for the stump removal and I answered yes). “You are lucky. See you don’t need to buy mulch next year”, the gentleman said before starting their truck.
After agreeing to pay $3k to get the project done, we were expecting something much smoother. I saw mostly positive reviews. Am I reading the truth? Or should things always work like this? Anyway, we are looking at three big pile ground, during Thanksgiving? Hopefully, not Christmas.

From estimate to completion, Rick's representatives and crews were nothing but professional. The bid was extremely fair and reasonable. The work crew left the property looking as though there was never any damage and the reason for calling Rick's was only a dream. GREAT WORK. Hopefully there will not be another need for tree damage "clean up", but if there is, RICK'S is who we'll call!

Last week John De Luca and his crew removed a towering pin oak and a top heavy white pine from our property. These huge trees (130'+) were a danger to their surroundings and had to come down. We knew John and crew would do an outstanding job as they had been here many times and we had confidence in their expertise.

Using an 89' spider, they maneuvered around our neighbor's fence and power lines with the knowledge and skill of consummate experts. The branches and massive trunk segments were all removed with a hand truck on balloon wheels to minimize damage to our yard. Also, Bob Oestreich's stump crew did a meticulous job removing any sawdust and wood chips that could have been harmful to the lawn.

Thank you Rick's (and John) for once again coming through for us. You get a million stars!

There were road closures and flooding everywhere and they found a way to get to my house and remove the fallen tree the morning after the tree went down. John was kind, respectful, and most helpful in advising me how to process my insurance claim as I have never had to do this before. Thank you so very much Rick’s Tree Service!

Rick’s Tree Service did an excellent job removing my tree and scrubs. Rob came and did all the grinding for the roots and stumps. The clean up he did was absolutely amazing. They get five stars from me.

Rick's Expert Tree Service did an extraorinarily clean job of removing an enormous evergreen tree, a smaller one next to it and an arbor vitae. The price was very reasonable, They left the area clean and the stumps wee completely gone. I was sad to lose the trees, but the foremen and crew were very supportive and kind. I greatly appreciate and highly recommend Rick's Expert Tree Service.

I had three trees removed and they did an exceptional job. One of our trees (the biggest one) was hanging over our house and that was not a problem for them at all. The crew was very clean and efficient and when they left, everything was spotless. I recommend them to everyone. Thank you Ray!

We had a HUGE oak tree ( over twice the height of our home) to be removed and I was very concerned due to its proximity to our house, and the fact that we have a fenced yard which meant they could not use their big trucks to get near the tree. The 4-man crew arrived and within 3 hours, had taken the tree down with precision that was impressive, and they also stacked about 2 cords of appropriately sized firewood for me as I had requested - the rest went into their chipper. They cleaned up everything, and put the very large stumps at curbside for pickup later in the day. And a couple days later, the stump removing crew arrived and the stump is completely gone. I would highly recommend them!

Had 2 large trees (Over 50 ft above house) removed & stumps grinded at a property I just bought. The crew was absolutely amazing. Fast, Professional, & everyone was phenomenal. Pricing was very fair. I highly recommend them as the best! I attached some pictures but didn't have them with the stumps grinded! They cleared them totally unseen. Thanks!

I had Rick's Expert Tree Service in for a quote. The estimator, John, came on time and provided me with a comprehensive bid, detailing out what they would do and agreeing to grind the strumps to below grade, and remove everything, smoothing out the area and damaging nothing. He followed up, was on site each time that the work started and gave clear instructions to his people. The work was quick, efficient, and successful. Rarely have I had such a positive experience with a service provider (professionally, I've been in purchasing for over 40 years) and the tree companies I have dealt with in the past did not do half the work that these guys did, nor half as well. I couldn't be happier. Best decision ever to use them!

Wow. That's the only thing I could say as I watched Ricks Expert Tree Service's crew take out a massive maple tree in my front yard that was towering over power lines, 3 driveways, and 2 fence lines. After years of limb damage to my property, enough was enough. In what felt like only a few hours they completely removed the tree limb by limb with proper equipment and tools to get the job done RIGHT!

On top of that they handled a 100+ year old black walnut in the back yard that destroyed enough lawn mower blades to keep John Deere in business for life.

They came back and ground the stumps down and you can't ever tell a tree was there. No more sewer line root issues! No more algae growth on the roof!

Highly recommend to anyone (commercial or residential) as they are one of the most organized contracting crews in the area.

I have used Rick’s multiple times over the last few years to remove large trees around my home. They are professional, clean up after themselves and do a great job grinding down stumps. I highly recommend their services.

First time buying firewood from Rick's but won't be the last. The wood is clean and well seasoned. Haven't really burned any yet but according to my moisture meter fresh splits are all below 20% exactly what I was hoping for.

I had a very large maple tree in a very small backyard. The "Rick""guys took it down to the stump, in just over an hour. Even more impressive, the stump grinders, Bob and Carlos, did such an incredible job, from start to finish. Cleaned up my yard. Looks Great. I'm so appreciative. Thanks guys!!
