Otto’s Chimney Sweep (do not confuse with A-1 Chimney Sweep) is beyond comparison with other chimney sweep services we have tried over years. When others spend 30 min. completing the job, Dave, the technician, spends several hours. He thoroughly inspects and cleans the chimney, making repairs and recommendations, as needed. He is busy, but his service is worth the wait. We always go back to Dave and A-1 Otto Chimney Sweep.

Will update with his name once I get that, but this guy was amazing! Straightforward, didn't try to sell me something ridiculous that I didn't need, diagnosed the problem quickly and had heat flowing near instantly. 10/10 would recommend.

Earl was friendly, on time, and efficient!! He fixed my toilet and bath in less than 20min- I had been struggling trying to fix it myself for two weeks. I wish I would have reached out sooner! He was awesome.

Don't call for a simple water heater repair, they'll send a guy with a replacement tank. Paid $65 for a sales pitch 🙄. I Bought the right replacement parts for $60.

Very disappointed. Called on a Sunday, paid the weekend ridiculous fee to have our issue addressed only to be pushed off until Monday... took off work to accommodate the plumber only to be pushed off until Tuesday. I am now out $165 for a guy to arrive to my house for ten minutes and do nothing, and I lost a days work. I called Bufalini Plumbing Solutions, they came within hours and did the entire job for almost $200 less. I feel completely taken advantage of by Armstrong. I will never call them again and I highly advise others to shop around. Highway robbery at its best!

Had Carbon monoxide leak plus water leaking in my furnace technician came in said he could smell the carbon monoxide and wanted to replace a part that didn't need repaired to overcharge i told him to leave and got a new company to look at it and he saw the problem that the first guy didn't even address and repaired it for an 1/8 of the price. Don't hire them.

Multiple issues brought in multiple contractors (cast iron radiator froze and split, no same-sized radiator could be located, decided to install a mini-split instead (HVAC) which required upgrading the electrical panel box (electrician). For four days the guys worked in extreme cold weather. They were informative and explained everything to our satisfaction. It was ALOT of money (nearly $30,000) but that’s the risk of having a big old house!

RJ was fantastic. He checked fuse box and made some suggestions that were not needed urgently.
was very respectful in our home and offered us some alternatives but wasn't PUSHY at all
I was expecting a pressure upsell but that did not occur

Steven Thompson came to our home today to look into a plumbing issue in our basement. He was able to locate the problem immediately and let us know how to resolve it. He was thorough and professional. Highly recommend!

Steven Thompson explained everything in thorough detail. Honestly the best service technician in any trade I have ever dealt with. For sure would recommend him to anyone.

Technicians Rob K. and Eric H. we're both very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They performed the job exceptionally with the exception of cleanup, after cleaning line, he (Eric) packed up and left. As for the company, things could be done alot better. Called on a Friday, didn't get a tech until Monday, and job not completed til Wednesday. Price seemed too high for a line clearing, and again, cleanup not done. It makes for a bad practice that you charge these prices and need to utilize our water source for the job. But if I didn't allow this, would job have gotten done then and there ? Overall I give your company a rating of 2.5 - 3.0.

SCAMMERS!!! These people are vultures of society draining peoples pockets by using fear and high pressure sales tactics to make money. My furnace stopped working in below zero weather. They sent a tech out. This technician never turned on my furnace. He stuck a camera in the back and told me there was a crack. He said he had to shut off the gas and “Red Tape” it because it’s leaking Carbon monoxide. He then told me I had to replace it and quoted me their cheapest model at $11,000. He tried to convince me to finance it and get a family member to co sign. I called another company called Klempner. They came out drained a pipe and checked my house for any Carbon Monoxide… there was none!! If you’re looking for an honest and ethical company call Klempner. These people aren’t professionals their dirty salesmen who would trade their souls for a dollar.

Scott King did a fantastic job cleaning out my sewer piping, very satisfied with his service today, definitely will call him back, if I need more plumbing and sewer repairs.

Was to be at my house between 9-10. It’s now was their call not mine. They called me yesterday and said they had an opening so I took it. They even called this morning to confirm between 9-10 was still good. Well it’s 12:10pm and still no one has shown. I called and the excuse was tech issues this morning. Someone could have called to let me know. I would have been fine with it. Not a very good first impression. Not mentioning who I spoke with on all the calls because I am sure she is a nice person. So much for customer service.

Rob did an excellent job. He did a plumbing job for us. He explained everything before the job was done. Very kind and professional. He had the job completed in a timely manner. Would not hesitate to use Gillece again.

Steven Thompson is amazing.I've never had a plumber.Have such respect, be professional and so nice.He explained everything to me showed me everything.We have to dig up our pipe and replace it.And I definitely feel confident and feel relieved that steve is in charge of everything

Eric came to my home in one days time to evaluate claims that my septic tank did indeed collapse. Once confirmed he had the repair crew scheduled for the following day. The repair crew were top shelf and completed the work in a timely manner. All in all I was quite pleased with Gillece Services & would highly recommend them.

Robbie installed my new garbage disposal. He really worked getting it installed. Something I could never have done. He was very professional and took care of my home like it was his. The office staff was equally as good getting the installation scheduled. Communication was better than I could have asked for.

Jacob was really professional and polite. We just moved into our new house.We had electrical issues and needed help.Jacob came ,introduced himself and looked into all the issues.He went over everything with us and explained why we needed different things.He showed us the estimate (3 different ones)for everything .Fixed things that needed done immediately and planned to come to finish later in the week.Showed us all the payment options and helped us through the paperwork (less than 5 min).It was a good experience for new home owners.Thanks for all your help.

Nick was incredibly helpful, he gave us good advice to help with the water, we used it an it actually worked and we only got charged $65. Truly a great guy I hope he gets more work
