Reviews of local pros in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania

Brendans Lawn and Landscaping is great. They always answer the phone right away. I am lucky to find them for year round service. Would recommend them to anyone!!!

They show up when they say they will and finish with a nice cut

Edit- Brendans’s reply below is outrageously false. His business is run exceptionally poor with no consideration for his clients time, and in no way can I recommend him. Pay more for a better landscaper.

Unfortunately I’m unable to write a good review for Brendan. My family and I attempted with great effort to give Brenden the benefit of the doubt as he didn’t return calls or text once he received my large initial payment. (We recognize he’s busy this time of year). The fact is, his crew did relatively decent work, and George his employee was able to mediate most simple oversights I pointed out. I know I could have received better services for a more notable and expensive crew but Brendan at first was responsive and friendly, so we gave him a shot.

Unfortunately I have to share :

1. He was delayed several days to complete a small yard, and ended up having one young man work on our yard over 3 days over two weeks to finish. It was strange as they could have finished in one day.

2. Hardscaping work was very poor, bricks are hardly any different than when he began. Many bricks were broken in his process.

3. Sod/turf work was really really poor (many completely muddy uncovered areas

4. His crew damaged my deck and will not mediate, or demonstrated no willingness to fix.

5. We asked 5 times for quotes on additional work trees/etc and he never provided.

6. We chose Brendan for weekly mowing and two weeks later and 6 calls, they finally came out. That requirement to remind simply won’t work for our busy schedule.

7. He does not answer calls or texts after our initial payment for additional work, (we’d pay for) and fixing errors. This is the worst part- we don’t have time to keep calling him crossing our fingers he’ll pick up.

In short, it was a big investment to hire him to mulch and care for our property and even though he’s slightly less than others, it’s not worth the hassle. Makes us sad to have to write this but perhaps he needs more support.

They do a nice job and Brendan is always receptive to any questions or concerns you might have.

I don't know what we would have done without Brendan and his team! A different service started and then abandoned the job at the beginning of summer. Brendan was immediately responsive, gave great suggestions on what plants to get, and was prompt with an extremely reasonable quote and plan. To top it off, he came to do the work when he said he would.... and finished it in a flash! I can't express how happy I am about this -- such a relief to have this project in good shape. Next time i need anything done, I know I'll be calling Brendan!

They did a good job and were very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend their company.
