JJ's replaced our gravel driveway with concrete and added concrete steps to a slope in our backyard. JJ was easy to communicate with, and he and his team did a really nice job. I plan on working with him again in the near-future to replace the fencing around my yard.

JJ and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, and dependable. We have done a few projects with him in the past couple years including mulch, weeding, grading the yard and this year he installed a new u-drain and poured concrete to fix our driveway. We appreciate his quality and effort, and we trust his company to always get the job done right. Highly recommend his services.

We contacted a number of companies before deciding on JJ’s landscaping for our new patio. His excellent reviews and prompt responses were appreciated. JJ arrived when scheduled with a large crew of very hardworking men. I wasn’t really sure exactly how I wanted the patio done and he gave me some excellent suggestions, including an intricate pattern on the patio. We were so impressed, my husband asked if he could also repair the railroad -tie steps to our lower yard and trim some bushes too. I was really pleasantly surprised when he agreed as we had been unable to find anyone willing to take on those jobs. Everything was completed within two days which included a last minute decision by us to add paver stepping stones to the lower yard. He did an absolutely incredible job for a very reasonable price. Wish I knew how to add photos to this review so everyone could see how gorgeous our backyard looks now

He saved the day the city didn't plow our street been stuck on our street for days called him and within 10 minutes he was here and plowed our street it was a blessed day very caring company 100% recommend very reliable.

They completely transformed my yard! My backyard gave me such anxiety because the hillside was washing away that my porch sits on and it looked terrible with debris leftover from the previous owner. JJ removed all of that and solidified the hillside with mulch and plants. It looks amazing. I could not be happier.

I hired JJ's Landscaping to rip out a garden and infill with grass and to extend our back patio with concrete. JJ was super efficient and considerate and did a great job. Even came back weeks later to check on the grass and add more grass seed. Highly recommend!

I own a duplex and a single family home in the suburbs and whenever we need landscaping work done I contact JJ. He has done everything from building a fence, to turning basically a gravel pit into a beautiful backyard, to updating an out of control overgrown mulched area into a crisp and clean river rock show piece. I've lost count of the neighbors who have walked past and complimented the work JJ and his crew have done. They are reliable, affordable, and responsive. I can't recommend JJ highly enough.

Hillside on the side and back of house needed much attention. All the old junipers were huge and dying. They all needed removed, along with a wall and removed a dead tree. Hillside is perfectly evened out, new junipers planted, all new mulch. Looks wonderful. I wanted something very simple to care for and this will be. I would definitely use them again if I need any more outside work done.

I needed a landscaper to repair a failed retaining wall (full deconstruction and reconstruction) and contacted JJ's Landscaping for help. He came out the next morning to give me an estimate and explain the scope of work. His crew started repairing the failed wall about two weeks later, and they were all very professional and did great work. They were able to reconstruct the failed wall in just 3 working days, and the wall was properly constructed to Versa-lok standards and looked better than before. I would recommend JJs Landscaping to anyone that needs a retaining wall put in or repaired or for any other landscaping services.

JJ poured and finished the pad for my hot tub. Outstanding job for a fair price. But more importantly, he showed up and executed when he said he was going to do the job. Definitely calling this guy for more concrete work.

Hi!! Jj’s is the go to professional landscaping company you’ll ever need!! We had over 30 year old wood and stone walls and steps that were failing and needed replacement. The projects were done in two different jobs and both projects were done professionally and promptly!! So if you ever need anything done correctly and efficiently Jj’s is the company to hire without any hesitation!!!

JJ did a GREAT job tackling some fairly challenging work in our yard. First, he replaced the grass lawn at the front of our house on a fairly steep slope with honeysuckle shrubs and mulch. Second, on the side between the house and sidewalk, he removed many volunteer rose of sharon shoots and various weeds, and replaced them with hosta plants and river rock.

All of the work, including the removal of old material and the hefting of river rock, required going up or down the sloped front yard, and JJ's team was completely unphased by this. And despite this extra challenge, they did such a neat job with ALL of the work, including setting the river rock carefully along the edge of the sidewalk so that it wouldn't settle and move onto the sidewalk. He also gave clear instructions on how to care for the young plants in the heat of summer.

The yard was completely transformed, and I can't think of a single thing that could have been done better. I was literally delighted by the work done and the entire experience. I would definitely recommend JJ's Landscaping to others.

(note: the work was done in July, but I only found the time to write the review after the December holidays... just slowness on my part... but it also gave time for me to see that it wasn't just a first impression but a lasting transformation)

We had a large hill taking up most of our backyard. JJ and his team did an excellent job maximizing the space we could claim back. He kept us informed on all updates, delays, and price changes throughout the entire build process. He was willing to adjust on the fly multiple times when we had different ideas about where to place plants and stairs. We more than doubled our usable flat yard for a very fair price. Can’t thank him enough!

We contacted JJ for a quote to have landscaping work done on our backyard. JJ sketched out the plan, quoted a fair price and showed up when he said he would. He completely transformed our backyard into a usable space with two flat levels. He was professional and reliable throughout the entire process.  He even stuck with us during a difficult neighbor situation. JJ’s communication was excellent and he always let us know the days he would be at our house or if the weather was going to delay the project. JJ also poured a concrete pad for us and built a brand new wooden fence. 100% recommend JJ for all of your landscaping needs and we will definitely be using him for future projects.

Asked JJ and team to clean up our mulch beds, trim our trees and bushes, add a mulch bed, and plan a dogwood. JJ and team kept me updated on the estimated time they could make it out to perform the work. When they arrived, they were very professional and worked quickly. They did an amazing job, and I'm really pleased with how everything looks!

Roy and his team recently transformed our backyard, removing an existing deck and replacing with a beautiful paver patio and privacy fence. All of his team are respectful, professional and do quality work. Cleaned up the yard each day before they left.
