Henry was on site at 8am, had my issue fixed by 8:20am and worked with me with my payment options. After being almost a month without water he was a life savor. Thank you and I will be reaching out from now on specificity to your company for any future issues.

I was hosting my Super Bowl party and without any warning my water main burst and started dousing my entire man cave. Thoroughly embarrassed by my flooded basement, I hastily called Roto-Rooter and just a short time later Harry showed up to save the day. He quickly made his repairs and we were able to salvage the second half of the party. Harry’s attention to detail and timeliness has made me a loyal Roto-Rooter customer. Thanks!!

Garrett was really efficient and knowledgeable. He even took the time to educate me on my plumbing issue and gave me tips on how to prevent issues in the future. He deserves a raise!

I was very pleased with the service I received today! The gentleman was very courteous and knowledgeable! He was able to fix the issue in less than an hour. He went above and beyond to make sure I had something temporary to cover my outside lid.

Malik the technician was able to diagnose the water problem in the ceiling and replaced the damaged pipes.
He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. -
The team came out in force. I scheduled service at 11am and had a knock at my door by 2. The guys worked throughout the night until almost 8pm and cleaned out the basement and snaked my sewer line. Happy with quick, efficient service.

Great technician! On time, knowledgeable, and fast results. No need to go anywhere else!

The front desk or receptionist completely disregarded my concerns and even had snarky remarks. I told her my leak is POSSIBLY coming from my radiator. I’m not a plumber, I’m NOT sure. She dismissed me and said they don’t do HVAC work. BUT like I said I’m totally not sure where the leak is coming from. I could be mistaken and it could be a different issue. That’s beyond frustrating. A good plumbing company should at least inspect the issue before outright dismissing it. The fact that she won’t even send someone out makes it seem like she just doesn’t want to deal with it. Either way, I’m sure there’s some professional there that could at the very least patch a leaky pipe regardless. Disappointed because I was recommended this company.

There is a reason that the jingle for Roto-Rooter is residing in your subconscious memory if you grew up anytime in the 70's or 80's. It is because they are still in business and with good reason! We called them after a backup in our basement bathroom that caused nasty sewage to flood it. We just moved in two days prior. They responded within about 2-3 on a Friday evening. Both gentlemen were professional and courteous. They removed the toilet and snaked the drain and shower drain as well. The culprit? Construction debris from the contractors who did the renovation. Drywall, plaster, grout and shop rags. We were very pleased that it was remedied and all was working again soon. Are they the cheapest place in town? Nope, but you get what you pay for. In Roto Rooter, you get prompt, professional service done correctly the first time. We would absolutely call again if the need arose.

Harry arrived less than 30 minutes after I placed the request online. He was polite, worked quickly, and cleaned up before leaving. It was a great experience. I will continue to use RotoRooter for future plumbing repairs. Thank you!

Roto Rooter was a huge help when my drain started backing up. They arrived quickly, and had everything running smoothly again in no time. Great service and super easy to work with.

They came out the same day I called, within an hour or so! My washing machine hose had water backing up and Harry was able to diagnose the problem and give helpful advice on some steps to take, before taking any expensive measures. I felt he was very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and I would highly recommend him. I definitely will be calling back if the water issue continues, or for any issue in the future. Thank you, Harry!

Absolutely Horrendous Experience –
I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this experience was. In hindsight, I should have simply shut off the water and waited for any other plumbing service. Unfortunately, Roto-Rooter was available the day of the leak, and I made the mistake of calling them.
The Job & Initial Issues:
The issue was a leaking second-floor toilet stack, which caused water damage on the first floor and into the basement and garage. Thankfully, no furniture was damaged—at least not at that point.
The manager came, spoke with my insurance company, and had me pay the $1,500 deductible directly to him instead of the insurance company—which turned out to be a huge mistake. I later had to pay it again and go through a dispute to prove I had already paid Roto-Rooter.
Two plumbers arrived, replaced a PVC section and a small piece of soft copper, and charged me $6,000 for the work. At the time, I had no idea that price could have covered almost an entire house’s worth of plumbing work, but more on that later.
Mitigation Team & More Issues:
The mitigation team removed drywall, flooring, and set up drying equipment. They seemed professional—until I discovered that someone had stepped on my couch to access the ceiling, breaking the backrest without saying a word. Not the end of the world, but the lack of accountability was frustrating.
Two days later, they returned to collect their equipment, leaving me with a $16,000 mitigation bill (for the insurance company to figure out). I was told that since the stack was fixed, I could move forward with drywall replacement.
The Real Nightmare Begins:
That’s when I realized the work was incomplete, grossly overpriced, and negligent.
The section they had just repaired was already leaking again. The same two plumbers returned, “fixed” it, and assured me it was now good to go. But soon after, more leaks appeared.
At this point, I started documenting everything with photos and notes—thankfully, because what happened next was unbelievable.
Upon inspecting their work, I found a hot water line running just two inches away from their repair, riddled with leaks. They never mentioned it, never recommended replacing it, and completely ignored the obvious. Had I not checked myself, I would have been dealing with another catastrophic leak in no time.
The Final Insult – Overpriced and Underperformed:
At this point, I brought in a local plumber to inspect their work. He almost passed out when I told him what I had paid. He said the same job should have cost $2,500 to $3,500, NOT $6,000. Worse, the nearby pipes they ignored could have failed at any moment.
I called Roto-Rooter’s manager to demand an explanation. His response?
“Yeah, actually, we overcharged you by $2,000. The tech nearly doubled his hourly and material costs.”
So what? If I hadn’t called, they would have just pocketed the extra $2,000? Absolutely disgusting.
Final Verdict:
I ultimately had my entire house re-piped by the local plumber—including redoing Roto-Rooter’s shoddy work—and it still cost me less than their original job.
I cannot stress this enough: Do NOT hire Roto-Rooter for anything.
• They rush jobs
• They overcharge massively
• They ignore obvious issues
• They’re deceptive with pricing
• They damage property without accountability
This company is nothing but a headache, a financial disaster, and a lesson in what NOT to do. Save yourself the frustration—hire a real professional.
The photo below has an arrow to what they replaced, told me the green section with active leaks was fine…
Edit: they responded and obviously another issue, they dont even have my house on record. Will update if there’s any type of resolution -
It was the best investment! The plumber was amazing. Worked extremely hard and cleaned everything up.
-
Very prompt same day service. Kyle B was intelligent in diagnosing and fixing the issue with minimal invasiveness.

Horrible experience. The “plumber” was rude to me and very sexist towards my wife. He didn’t explain what he did, left an invoice with no information on it, and grossly overbilled us. The job wasn’t finished, and the parts he did complete were sloppy and need to be redone.
To make matters worse, the only reason he was here STILL needs to be completed.
I haven’t been contacted by the management team yet. But hopefully they can alleviate this horrible experience. 0/5 if it was an option -
We had a blockage close to the septic tank. The guys that arrived were friendly and polite. The seemed to like their work and were able to clear the blockage quickly getting us back into service. I would definitely use them again even though it was a pricey experience.
We also had some water remediation that needed to be done. The team of two that did so were also friendly and efficient. They got the work done and were able to answer all my follow up questions. I am happy with the service. -
Harry was awesome! He arrived early and was patient as I tended to my son and met him at the door. He carefully assessed the drainage issue that was damaging my kitchen floor and explored all possible root causes, explaining everything to me along the way. He quickly addressed the problem and offered me maintenance tips. His team will be the first one I call in the future. Excellent service.
