Landscaping reviews in Cheswick, Pennsylvania

In 2023, we began to imagine a pool and new landscaping for our back yard. Through the Wexford Garden and Pond tour, we discovered Eichenlaub’s work and just knew that their design approach was the right fit for us. They took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. Every person who worked on our project was a PRO at their craft. They brought the expertise and knowledge that was necessary for such a large project. They were also reasonable and flexible so we could best balance design, scope, and budget. We have a beautiful yard that now matches the beauty of our midcentury modern home. We’ve enjoyed our new space for several months now and in many ways still can’t believe it’s real – we love it more every day. Highly recommend Eichenlaub for your project – you will not be disappointed!

We hired Eichenlaub to remove bamboo from the back yard in a house we just bought (or at least help us with the first stage of bamboo removal as this is likely to be a years long process). They were professional, easy to communicate with, and did a thorough job without leaving any mess. We look forward to working with Eichenlaub for the long term design and implementation process for the landscaping for our property as well.

About ten years after our backyard patio project with Eichenlaub, we worked with them again to create a new front yard landscape design and installation in 2023. From the initial meeting, to the design process and presentation, through the discussions on plan changes and ultimately to the installation, each encounter was professional and responsive. They were up front and honest about the timeline, and kept us up to date with changes. Ultimately our project was completed to our satisfaction pretty much when they said it would be. We highly recommend Eichenlaub.

This is my first year using Eichenlaub Landscaping and the communication and service has been fantastic. The management is top notch but even the two workers that were sent to do the actual landscape work were wonderful. Cory and Kyler were hard working, polite, extremely helpful and all around best lawn people I have ever had at one of my homes. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants quality lawn work and service.

I’ve been very impressed with the exceptional service I’ve received.
I did several projects in the last year from landscaping , new lighting ,pruning and overall updated maintance .
Mike was my project manager , Matt oversaw the new lighting and Aaron and Alex the pond work and new planting. Having never had a pond I needed advice on this !
Everyone has been quick to address issues promptly and I like their very friendly staff of employees .
An excellent company

We were very pleased with all the work done last week in spite of the extreme heat. From the removal of a dead crabapple tree, to seeding that area, and filling in and seeding a former vegetable garden, then removing overgrown shrubs and adding beautiful new ones, the work was completed efficiently and neatly. Kevin and Nate did a great job planning the process after listening to our needs. Devon and Ray, who were both friendly and polite, did the above mentioned jobs and also cut back an overgrown juniper and mulched the areas. We were very happy with the results and highly recommend Eichenlaub!

Our irrigation person from Eichenlaub, Paul, couldn’t be better. He comes on time, works until a problem is fixed, understands all the complexities of our garden. He is super smart and very personable. We couldn’t ask for a more professional person to look after our irrigation needs. His brand new assistant, Frankie, figured out a tricky issue today and Paul was not only grateful for her help but made a point of praising her to me, so he is clearly an excellent mentor, too. We couldn’t recommend Paul and the irrigation team at Eichenlaub more highly!

Eichenlaub installed my gardens twelve years ago including lots of earth moving, building walls, planters, storage sheds, a sun shelter, etc. as well as all of the planting, and they have maintained the lighting and irrigation systems ever since. They are a first class company. They did a beautiful job on the installation and have continued to be reliable and easy to work with on the maintenance. I was moved to write this review because I was so impressed with the great job that Ken & CJ did starting up my irrigation system earlier today. They found numerous leaks that had developed over the winter, sprinkler heads that were not popping up, etc. and didn't leave until they had fixed every problem. I love my gardens, and I appreciate the people who really care about taking care of it. Highly recommended.

We made the decision this year to address the landscape of our home. The design proposed by the team at Eichenlaub was spectacular. The plant selection focused on the deer problem in our area, and we are delighted that even though the deer walk through our property they are not having lunch or dinner! The construction and planting crews were outstanding and the best we have ever had. Nate Wiant, our project manager, has overseen all the work and we are very grateful for his help and insight. We highly recommend Eichenlaub for any landscape project.

The team was great. First, I wasn’t sure if they would take my business, since the work I wanted done was in a small backyard patio area. But they did! I asked for low maintenance plants that are somewhat critter-resistant and would give me my own little slice of heaven, while relaxing on my patio. And one part of the patio gets full sun while the other is mostly shade. They rose to the challenge. They came up with different height and texture plants that would flower or have different colors through the year. The designer was very patient. They managed to meet all my expectations. The team installing the plants was friendly and moved quickly. Customer service has been good. They addressed remaining tasks soon after. For example, they did not have the lighting at the time of the plant installation and had to come back to do that later. One small thing was when they drilled the holes for the lighting box directly into the brick on the back of the house and it would not stay, fell down. They had to have someone come back and install it correctly, which they did as soon as I mentioned it. Overall, everything was great. I’m still amazed that they found a way to make it happen.

Paul was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable about best watering techniques and explained how to use our system more efficiently. We would highly recommend Paul at Eichenlaub for any irrigation services!

Frankie, as always, did a superfluous job a winterizing our vast sprinkler system... She worked hard, solves problems and is greatly appreciated by my wife and I. Thank you..

We’ve been satisfied Eichenlaub customers for years. In particular, Paul Zwigart has done a great job, taking care of our irrigation and lighting issues. With an old house, figuring out wiring problems isn’t always easy, but he has always persevered and come up with great solutions !

My experience with the Eichenlaub crew was first-rate. They were very knowledgeable and informative, and went above and beyond. The result of their 2 days of hard work is exactly what I had hoped for. Thank you Ray, Curtis, Sebastian, and Sara!! Janet Shaffer 😊

Thank you for improving our property! The plantings are beautiful and the lawn renovation is a success. You shine at each phase with your extensive skills and experience. Special thanks to Ann, Nate, RJ, Kris, Ray and all the operation team on site for a job well done.

We had a tree come down in our backyard due to a severe thunderstorm. The Eichenlaud crew were easy to work with. They estimate the work within a day or two and showed up to do the work right on time. The two guys who did the work, Chris & Hunter, did an outstanding job. The tree had an internet cable line entangled in it, but it was still working! Chris & Hunter removed the line without disrupting the internet signal. They were also very careful not to destroy many other plants that were around the downed tree. I would definitely recommend Eichenlaud for future projects.

We've recently had our front yard re-landscaped, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. From design to implementation Tu, Kevin, Nathan, Greg and the whole team were approachable, available, and ready to make real-time changes and adjustments as the project progressed. We have received many compliments not only in regards to the visual appeal but also about the specific plants chosen for the design. We also use them for yard maintenance and couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Eichenlaub for all your landscape needs.

Paul did a terrific job with maintenance of our irrigation system. He was prompt and complete - made the process easy

Kevin, Nate, Chuck And Chris Did an amazing job from start to finish—-Site visit, planning, and installing a very attractive, retaining wall to solve a Runoff problem. Work was thoughtful, meticulous, and well designed. Chuck and Chris worked nonstop For the entire day in 90° weather to build and install the wall. Very hard-working and great guys. Clean up at the end of the day was also very nicely done. Thank you, Eichenlaub very much appreciate the great efforts of this team.

I have been working with 2 people from Eichenlaub to repair my yard from the deer invasion last year. They both have listened, really know what they are doing and I loved working with them. Big job or small job Eichenlaub will help you make informed decisions and then complete the work. I highly recommend this company and the people who work there!

Excellent experience working with Eichenlaub's spring pond clean up team. Alex and Steve were: knowledgeable - shared useful info on pond care; meticulous in their approach, respectful of property; industrious - worked steadily over ~ 6 hours to complete the work. We've had pond clean ups in the past --> this was the best.
