I have used this company for years, both at my residence and my investment properties. They have never let me down yet. Highly recommended!

I am very disappointed and angry! Monday, March 28th appointment made for 10:30 AM. He showed up.at 4:00 PM. New furrnace needed. Tuesday, March 29th, appointment at 10:00 AM, showed up art 3:99 PM after a 3 hour lunch! Installed furnace. Did not finish duct work. He will return on Saturday, April 3rd. Never showed. How about Wednesday evening? Never showed. Now here we are at Sunday, April 10th, 12 N, never showed!

R.H. Barkley did an amazing job, Top notch work ethic. Rick's knowledge and attention to detail was welcomed and appreciated. Beautiful job at a Great price.

I had a furnace problem at a rental property & Rick was very fast to respond. He fixed the problem promptly & I thought the invoice was very reasonable. I would definitely use his services again.

When they installed our new furnace and AC 2 years ago, I would have given them 4 stars for service and professionalism. However, in the months since, they have been impossible to contact- the voicemail at both numbers they advertise is always full, and no one has answered either number in months; they also did not respond to a FB message. We were forced to go with another company to service our new units, although RH Barkley required us to use them in order to validate their service warranty. Highly unprofessional!

We woke up this morning with no heat. Rick answered my early morning call, communicated quickly with me when he would come and texted when he was on his way. He was polite and professional. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed it at a reasonable price. All just a few days before Christmas. We will gladly use him again! Highly recommend him.

Had a furnace issue, rick came in and did a wonderful job. He was honest in telling me we would soon need a new furnace (we knew that and we're planning one in the spring). He explained everything he was doing and went step by step to solve the problem. We wi definitely use him for our new furnace purchase.

Excellent service. I had called a few other heating repair companies and Rick had responded the fastest with reasonable prices. He was knowledgeable in his field and looked out for my best interest. I was glad to have found a reliable mechanic in such short notice.

R.H. Barkley installed a brand new Air Conditioner and thermostat in my home They were very professional and took the time and patience to answer all my questions and concerns They used drop clothes and shoe covers and cleaned everything up really well. They did an excellent job and we are very happy. I will recommend them to anyone who needs a new air conditioner, heater or service.

I’ve been using RHB for over a decade for all the HVAC needs for not only my residence, but for my rental property. This guy 100% does not miss! An absolute master of his craft, he could charge much more but he keeps his prices fair to help working class folks like me, and like himself. Do yourself a favor and call RHB first for your HVAC needs…it will be the only call you need to make!

Water heater is leaking so we called and asked to have it looked at as we have used them for services in the past (owner is a friend of my BIL). [The previous time he was here we had a furnace installed. He took the old one out and said he’d be back within an hour as he had to go to his shop to pick up the new furnace. He didn’t return for several hours.]
With regards to the water heater, he couldn’t give a definitive answer on what, if anything, the warranty would cover. Just that we are within the warranty time period. Couldn't give us a legitimate estimate. We were given two significantly different amounts over the past two days but were told it also might be more. Won’t take a credit card as payment. And because we want to get other estimates he said not to call him back. Browsing through other reviews I can see we’re not the only ones who have experienced lack of communication and unprofessional behavior. I will gladly call somebody else.

Customer since 2011. Friendly, fairly priced, and timely service. Rick installed a furnace and AC unit in 2011 and does all maintenance on my unit. The units are still running strong!

Amazing service! Furnace broke on a day where temps are frigid. Within 2 hours of a call (on a Saturday) Rick was at my house.. repaired my furnace and had us up and running, warm again! I advise this company to anyone. You will be satisfied!

I really enjoyed the customer service Rick provided. He came late in the evening in response to my A/C going out. He was very clean and professional. He stuck to his quoted price and was timely. I even watched him work and made small talk. He showed me what the issue was and then showed me how he repaired it. He has a customer for life. Forgot to mention he worked throughout the night!

He not only was able to find time amidst his busy schedule to stop in and look at it on short notice, but he was able to quickly diagnose the problem, get the new part installed and get us back up and running. I've had R. H. Barkley Heating for most years that I have lived in my current house. They installed a new boiler two years ago. Rick's team had the job completed quick and cleaned up after the install. They are very reliable. The price he quoted was the price I paid. I also use this company for yearly inspections. They are reasonable. I highly recommend R. H. Barkley!

Great service by Rick and his colleague. They showed up on the same day that I reported the issue and fixed my heating system and boiler in one day. Rick went beyond and above in making sure that everything works as it should be, and even spent the time explaining to me how to maintain the system. Rick Came out at 8 o’clock on a very cold night we were without heat in one of our bays. He was very thorough and very experienced. Can’t say enough great stuff about this company. Rick is our go to guy for all our boiler,heating needs. Honestly can’t say enough great stuff about this company, if you’re in need for a heating or cooling service, Give this company a try. My furnace quit working overnight and we woke up to a very cold 55° home. Did a quick Google search and started reading reviews on each business. I noticed that this guy had some very good things written about him and let me tell you they were spot on! Rick showed up Sunday morning within 90 minutes of making contact. He diagnosed the problem and found the issue instantly. Luckily he had the part for my older model in his truck. Not only did he install the part necessary he also did the maintenance required to keep us warm all winter. I would 100% recommend Rick for all your HVAC needs.
