Like that I was notified when service was scheduled. Started seeing results of fertilizer and weed killer. Also the technician was informative and friendly. So very happy with the company.

John arrived on time (slightly early, which worked better for my schedule). Even though I may not have gotten the best news, he was knowledgeable, personable, and honest. SavATree came out to do some tree trimming and pruning. From the beginning, communication with the company went smoothly. On the day of the actual work I was very impressed with the team that came out. The workers were very competent, and even the arborist stopped by to touch base with the crew. They paid attention to every detail while they were here and they went above and beyond with customer service. At the end they cleaned up so well after the appointment, I didn't even find one stray twig on the property after they left! I'm very pleased with the work they did and the company as a whole and I'm glad I used SavATree for the job.

I’ve been working with Alison Pottage and SavATree for several years. The experience has been very positive, most recently when they came to do routine trimming of three trees in our yard. Alison is very knowledgeable and responsive. The work was coordinated and carried out efficiently, and the crew cleaned up everything. We have a lawn care program through them, as well as maintenance of other plantings in our yard, and we’ve been very pleased with the growth, trouble-shooting, etc. that Alison and SavATree have coordinated for us through the years. We have been working with Alison Pottage and using SavATree service for the past 12 years for tree maintenance as well as various tree removals as needed. Recently the crew was hired to take down a huge ash tree that had partially broken in high winds and landed in a neighboring tree. They did a terrific job with this complicated removal and managed to haul all of the limbs and 3 large trunks through a narrow pathway, taking great care not to damage the house and garage on either side. We were very pleased that they were able to minimize the impact to our lawn despite working in light rainy conditions.

We had a large maple that needed to come down. Alison was very thoughtful and gave me a reasonable quote. She is a good problem solver. SavATree was the only company that was able to get to the tree because they have a spider lift (which I learned not all companies do). The crew did a great job in a hard-to-access place. They were very skilled and they listened to all of my requirements. They didn't damage my garden, and they cleaned up very well. They are coming back later to treat the hemlocks for insects. Definitely recommend for tree work!

Ken P is the best. I have tried many lawn companies without luck for my grass backing up to the golf course.. I am grateful I tried the lawn program at Savatree, who I have used for my trees and shrubs for years. They are responsible with the use of chemicals and my lawn looks the best ever. They were able to get the weeds from the golf course out and we now have healthy beautiful dark green grass. Definitely worth the extra money for the quality of care and concern for my property. Highly recommend. Ken is informative and so knowledgeable, I know he is looking to provide the highest level of service and support and hits the mark every time. He is available for questions anytime and genuinely cares about his work.

This company was great from the quote process to completing the project. They were professional and very knowledgeable. They worked through some of the hottest days this summer and ensured everything was cleaned up before the left for the day. They removed a huge pin oak, trimmed two others along with cabeling a 4th tree to ensure strength/safety. The project took 3 days total and we will only use this company moving forward.

Savatree is the best in the business. I contacted Chip for an estimate to spray my small townhome for their ‘Home Shield’ pest service. He was prompt, professional and delivered a detailed an easy to understand estimate which I did not hesitate to accept. They worked within my parameters, needing to be contacted ahead of time because access to my back yard is limited. On the day my service was scheduled, an extremely professional young man named Kahree called me personally to let me know he was on his way, and arrived on time, clean, well mannered, appropriately equipped and ready to efficiently and thoroughly perform the service I purchased. I have also had my rose bushes, azalea and Longwood Hybrid Grapefruit tree treated with their Arborkelp Biostimulant service and let me tell you these plants have *never* looked so good. Look no further if you want prompt, professional and thorough work delivered with first class service from the initial phone call to the follow-up after completion.

SavATree took care of a neighbor’s trees so I asked them to assess mine. I received a thorough assessment of all the trees on my property as well as a plan for addressing issues. The issues ranged from dead or dying trees that needed to be taken down to trees that needed to be pruned and could use some fertilizer or nutrients (in the spring) to bolster their health. When they came to trim and remove dead or dying trees, they were very careful and deliberate with all their work - they had to come back a second day to finish the trimming and came on a third day to grind out one of the stumps. Doing the job well and cleaning up afterwards was more important than finishing quickly.
Each interaction was friendly, respectful, and safety was a top priority. I also appreciated that the goal was to make the trees healthier - not just take them down. Excellent company to work with!

Gary was very knowledgeable about my ailing dogwood. His application team showed up on time and was very helpful. Now we’ll wait a couple of months to see if the fertilization worked.

I am very happy with my experience with Sav a Tree. From the start, I felt confident with Allison their arborist and her suggestions and I felt their pricing was competitive and fair. Once the work started, it was done by competent and friendly young men who were efficient and willing to accept suggestions from me about the work being done. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they left my property in very good condition. It was a very happy experience and I love the final result. I feel safer on my property that the large trees have been attended to and it looks so much more beautiful as the trees have been groomed expertly.

Alison and the Savatree team are top notch! They are responsive and professional, but most importantly knowledgeable! She knows her trees and is very good at explaining tree health and risk. They are taking excellent care of two very large Ash trees through medication to fend off a pest invasive of Emerald Ash Borers.

Initially had a good experience with the arborist, with quick response on the consult and getting a quote for tree trimming services, but everything went downhill after that. I emailed multiple times to get the services on the quote revised, with ZERO response. Meanwhile I kept receiving automatically generated messages requesting to approve the work. I eventually gave in and approved the work along with the deposit. I received no emails or calls to schedule, and then suddenly 5 days later, they show up and started working. I wasn't even home...Luckily my partner was home and notified me as soon as he could. By the time I was able to get on the phone with the office to tell them to stop work and reschedule, they had already finished cutting down one small tree, and trimmed another tree (with power lines running directly through the tree, the workers were not aware of this supposedly, and I highly doubt PECO was notified). Now I have to wait for them to call me back to reschedule to finish up the rest of the job in our backyard. I have ZERO assurance that they won't just show up again unannounced and start chopping down whatever they feel like. If they can prove me wrong otherwise, I may update this review, but communication (if there was any to begin with) was absolutely unacceptable. Seeing all the positive reviews on this page is giving me whiplash because that was not my experience at all. I am just thankful no one got hurt, electrocuted, or had power cut. I wouldn't leave such a scathing review if it wasn't for the fact that the arborist did not inform the workers about the LIVE POWER LINE.
