We are very satisfied with Chimney Fixers! The guys who came yesterday to start our job, Bruce, Matt and Santiago, were friendly but professional, courteous and explained everything that they were doing. I felt completely at ease with them on the job.
They kept a clean working area and cleaned the area up perfectly when they finished for the day. I highly recommend Chimney Fixers!

We hired Chimney Fixer’s last year for a major chimney repair, followed by additional work on two smaller chimneys this year, and the installation of caps. From start to finish, they met our expectations. This family-owned business impressed us with their professionalism, reliability, and craftsmanship. They arrived on time, completed the work as promised, and when an issue arose, both owners personally showed up to address it. They stood by their word, and that level of integrity is rare to find.

Black Knight chimney came with Brett and Shane who did a quick excellent job on my chimney. I asked how bad was the chimney and Shane said not too bad. He indicated my chimney could wait 2 or 3 years I'm stead of every year which my wife wants due to past fire issues. You don't find this kind of honesty with people these days.
I will use them next year for the wife's peace of mind. You have friendly workers that do a great job and are candid about their work.

I had a very difficult demolition of a chimney liner in a very old house: Chimney Fixers could not have been better to work with.

They scheduled everything promptly, showed up on time, worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. Everyone I met was a gentleman.

The demolition took days longer than expected yet they stuck to the quote.

I would recommend to everyone.

It seems that there are no professionals left in the the contracting service world anymore. People just dont care about customer service or the details anymore. Had an appointment scheduled, then receive a text confirming my appointment. Then no call no show... I call , I text then Dave calls we'll after my appointment to tell me he couldn't leave the current job site in it's current state and that he would come back tomorrow as he is only 3 minutes away working a site. Next day comes, nothing.... I expected nothing. When your working three minutes away down the road it would be common curtesy no matter how far away to call or text on time for the appointment that was scheduled. Be mindful of people's time and efforts when having an appointment. I receive a holiday magnet thanking me for my service but I had no service performed and no appointment. A clown show really. But it's 2025 so clown shows seem to be the norm...

Very impressed with customer service from initial phone inquiries to finished product. Jake and Josh were amazing with their masonry skills and professional interaction with us replacing the chimney. They were very organized and left area cleaner than they arrived. Caelin was very knowledgeable as well and supportive in helping us decide between washed crown or drip crown. Great company to work with.

Chimney Fixers quoted a price to fix our flue and then beat a competitor's price. Jake and Josh the technicians were knowledgeable, clean and quick! I can't wait to use my fireplace again now that it is fixed and safe to use. Highly recommended!

I had Chimney Fixers to come out and evaluate my chimney, as it had definite signs of decay and water infiltration. They recommended pointing, a new crown and repacing some brick. A few days later I called and added a new flue liner for my furnace and water heater flue. They were happy to add the work and write a new extimate.

Matt, and Jay showed up on time, worked like crazy, kept me in the loop, and answered questions about the work they were doing and also other issues I asked them about.

They worked 12 hours on what was supposed to be a one day job, but had trouble getting the flue liner turned and connected at the bottom of the chimney, and finally decided they had to come back the next day to finish.

The next day they brought Jathan, a more experienced tech out to help them finish. They kept me in the loop again, what time they would be there and how long it would take. They helped me attach my furnace to the new flue, even though it wasn't part of the job, did a great job cleaning up, even hosing all the dust off my solar panels, deck and porch furniture.

A few of my neighbors stopped by and said Chimney Fixers had done work for them, and they were all happy too.

Our home was built in 1960 and still has the original chimney and clay flue. Recently, we heard a sound best described as a "rushing of air", so we called and had Dan out to the house to do an inspection and annual chimney sweep. During his inspection and cleaning, he found evidence that there was a chimney fire, which caused significant damage to the flue. In cases like this, you need a stainless steel liner installed, which is a lot of work since you have to remove the old clay liner first. Dan was fantastic and explained patiently and thoroughly. We opted to have Chimney Fixers come to the house to complete the work, who was able to squeeze us into their schedule a week later.

I may be messing up the names (sorry, guys!), but Jathan and (I think?) Alex or Mitch were the install team that completed the work. They were extremely polite and hyper-focused on cleanliness. They protected the floor and sealed off the fireplace to prevent dust from creeping back into the house. This job did not look easy - it was cold outside, and they were in and out of the house all day. When all was said and done, Jathan showed me the before and after pictures, showed me how to operate the new damper, and told me to call him or Dan if we had any questions or concerns. The stainless steel liner comes with a lifetime warranty, and their work is backed by a five-year labor warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Jathan did an excellent job inspecting our chimney and telling us all of the options to fix our cracking mortar, damaged crown, and missing cap. He was personable, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and a good example for our small children who enjoyed watching his every move! With other contractors we have had in the past, I felt pressured into a sale; but Jathan didn't act that way. He encouraged me to talk things over with my husband and offered to follow up with us if we had any questions about the scope of the work. Thank you, Chimney Fixers and Jathan!

I could not have higher praise for Gabe and the team at Chimney Fixers. They are fast, friendly, and do excellent work. We had them out at our house in spring 2025 to fix up both of our chimneys, including lining one and installing a weather cap on another. The work has held up wonderfully well (and I’m pretty sure we have the nicest chimney cap in the neighborhood). Would recommend without hesitation.

I am so happy that I found Chimney Fixers of Pittsburgh. From the initial free estimate to the finished work, i was very very pleased with their professionalism, integrity and quality of workmanship. I had my brick chimney repointed and new flashing installed. The chimney looks fantastic and makes the whole house look so much nicer. I have a keen eye for quality work and work hard to keep the house looking the best. Bruce and Santiago did a top notch job. Believe all the reviews about them. Highly recommended and fair pricing. I absolutely cannot say enough about Chimney Fixers! We moved into our home several years ago and had never used our gas fireplaces. We wanted to have the chimney inspected as well as make sure the fireplaces were in good working order and safe to use. Gabriel arrived at the arranged time (calling ahead to confirm) and was an absolute pleasure to work with - kind, knowledgeable and truly putting our best interests first. Our dog even loved him! The cost ended up being far less than the estimate, which was a huge and pleasant surprise! We will absolutely use them again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others!

Chimney fixers was contacted to provide an estimate for a sensitive real estate transaction in late 2024. The buyer found the company online, but the seller had to authorize and pay for the work. The case was assigned to Dan Grider of Chimney Fixers. Dan had a tough role, to keep both the buyer and the seller informed, explain the various costs, and explain the whole repair process in its various stages. Dan nailed it, he navigated the situation with the confidence of a dedicated professional, which eased concerns of both the seller and buyer. The work was completed in the winter under adverse weather and the work completion records where transferred to the new owner. Upon move-in the new owner noticed some exterior work needed additional touch-ups, due to winter rain affecting product cure-in time. The new home owner contacted Dan re the additional touch-ups, and the company honored their commitment to ensure delivery of quality work, even if they had to return to the job. Within a few weeks the touchups were completed to the customer's approval. Overall a great experience with Chimney Fixers and specially with Dan's focus on communication, clarity, and customer service.
