Burke Electric was great to work with showed up on time, did the job right, and charged a fair price with no surprises. Honest and professional, I’d definitely recommend them!

I sent Burke Electric a note via Facebook Messenger on the evening of Sunday 12/22/24. Josh replied within minutes with an appointment request for me to complete. I then submitted my contact info.

I grounded out an outlet and it caused an issue in a line in the garage. Garage doors and refrigerator would not work but some lights did work. Other lights were dim. As a precaution, I turned off the breaker to the garage.

Josh fit me into his schedule for the next day which was 2 days before Christmas. He found the problem and it was a burned up wire. Josh made the repair and put everything back into order as it was.

Josh is very knowledgeable about aluminum wiring.

I will be calling Burke Electric for more electrical work to be done on our house.

I called Burke electric to have work done in my home. I called the number to see about setting up a quote and they actually answered the phone. No automated system or prompts, just the owner picking up the phone. I had a quote done in 2 days and the work scheduled and completed within 7 days.

The owner came out to meet me and his electrician at the start of the job and made sure everything was correct at the end also. He accommodated a couple of last minute changes, ordered parts and finished the work the same day.

Work completed included running a new line from the basement panel to the back patio, adding a new line in the garage, and even replaced a damaged washing machine cord I haven’t had time to get to. Great guys. Real friendly.

Burke Electric are not only knowledgeable with the ability to resolve complex electrical issues but they also go out of their way. After the completion of a dedicated circuit for our hot tub, Josh himself dropped off a pigtail connector. Professional, good pricing, and does what they promise.

Helpful and honest! I contacted Burke electric with my house electric going dim then bright and flickering. Josh looked at photos and directed me on opening a case with my electric provider who showed up same day and fixed the issue! I'm betting most would have come to my house and charged me time and labor and I would have paid because I didn't know what the problem was. So very nice to know there are helpful, honest companies out there and I won't hesitate to contact Burke for any other problems or projects.

Burke Electric has done great work for us at two different locations. I appreciate the timely responses and their quality of work. Ted was the original owner who handed the keys of the business to his son Josh who been running it very well. We have always had great experience working with this family. In today's day and age, it is hard to find good and reliable people but when you do, stick with them.

I can’t say enough nice things about Josh. He created and installed an electrical panel to upgrade my sisters outdated “fuses.” Very nice job , and very reasonable. Thank you , thank you. Will definitely recommend you to anyone needing electrical work.

He was fantastic. Helped me report an outage, checked in after a few hours, and came out to the house at 9 pm to try and help. Unfortunately it was an issue with the power company but he explained everything to me and was incredibly helpful. A really great guy overall and I'll definitely use him again!

Starting with the first call and consultation with Josh, and then when Kerry came to our house to meet us and work thru our issues, the whole experience was 100% all-positive. Right before this past Christmas, I contacted Burke Electric since I got a referral from a handyman in my area. Believe me, he was every bit as good as I was hoping he would be. Not only was he prompt to return my call, he came even after hours to help me with an electrical upgrade that needed done ASAP in my basement. What a great company to work with. Josh and his team completed a major panel upgrade at our home without any issues. This was a huge project and they were able to complete it while we were out of town and without missing a single thing, helping us out and making the entire process easier. In addition, they were able to relocate just about everything with our existing service to clean things and make it look very professional. This includes about 15 cable tv lines, power and communication for a gas generator, solar take offs and several other items. Their quality of work is top notch, they use the most reputable products on the market and demonstrate the best customer service I have ever experience with an electrical contractor. They care about their work and their customers opinion of them. Jobs large or small, let Josh and his team handle it, you will not be disappointed!

Burke Electric was able to come out to my house the same day I called and fixed the problem the following day (major project). They are very easy to work with and one of the most responsive contractors I have come across. The work was well done and I would recommend them to anyone

TLDR: I highly recommend Burke Electric. Josh did excellent work, and was diligent, clean, on time, and affordable.

I called Burke Electric the Saturday before Christmas when the outlet our Christmas tree was plugged into suddenly stopped working. In addition to that outlet, several other dining room outlets had stopped working. Josh was kind enough to squeeze me into his day, noting that he wanted to get things working for us in time for the holiday.

Josh worked diligently to troubleshoot and find the issue — some loose wiring in a tiny nook behind the kitchen cabinets. He repaired that issue and went above and beyond to fix a few other minor issues that were clearly the result of the shoddy workmanship of the previous homeowner.

The work required moving some furniture and appliances. He also had to partially disassemble a lazy Susan to access some wiring behind the cabinets. Everything was returned to its original place and in working order before he left.

Josh did an excellent job. He was quick but thorough. His pricing was affordable. And he did a wonderful job explaining things to me. He was also great with my two large and excitable dogs.

I will 100% call Burke Electric for any future electrical work. 11/10 Highly recommend.

I had an HVAC issue and needed someone to come check the electrical work in my home to make sure we didn't have a bigger problem. The owner Josh took time out of his day to stop by just a few hours later. What ended up being a simple question and answer, Josh took time to explain everything he was checking and made my family and me feel more comfortable with what we have going on. Concise, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Highly recommend, won't call anyone else if i need electrical work done!!!

Highly recommended. Contacted Burke Electric for a quote to repair several issues with a house after moving in. Received a prompt reply and a quick schedule for a walkthrough for the estimate. Scheduling for the myriad list of issues took approximately a week, as it was a lot of work and required multiple sessions.
