Tree reviews in Croydon, Pennsylvania

Jim is absolutely the best in the business.
Jim and Skip and the rest of the crew did a big tree removal job at my business and my father’s home and they worked quick, efficient and very clean with care and respect for my property and my neighbors.
Pricing was reasonable and service impeccable.

Great experience. Jim was quick to give a fair estimate and schedule the work. His crew was very energetic, thorough and considerate. Four trees removed, two pine trees trimmed of dead branches, five stumps removed.....all done in 2.5 hours including a thorough cleanup. Highly recommend this company.

Jim gave me a thorough assessment of our trees and provided an estimate on the spot. We were scheduled within a week and his friendly crew showed up on time, performed the work with care, and cleaned up perfectly. Our neighbors were impressed by the expedience of the work that day and are likely to call Jim for their own tree removal needs. I will hire Jim and the Tomahawk crew again for our tree jobs in the future.

Highly recommend. Came out same day to walk the property and provide an estimate. Gave me great advice and a fair (probably better than fair) price. Everything we discussed was accomplished the very next morning and looked better than I could have imagined. Project included trimming some trees and removing others, and just a great experience.

A professional job at a very competitive price.
Jim & his crew recently removed a dying (and dangerous) tree and trimmed another tree on my property. They were professional, quick, and did an excellent job. Moreover, they were by far the best quote I received for this work. Other companies wanted 50% more for the same service. I will absolutely use Tomahawk again.

From the proposal all the way through the job Jim and his crew were very professional. The price for all the work they did was unbeatable. The crew showed up on time. They removed 2 trees, ground the stumps, laid topsoil and seeded and also trimmed 2 other trees back. When they were done you would never know they were there they cleaned everything including the surrounding lawns of any debris. I will use Tomahawk again and will recommend their service to anyone that needs tree service.

I was very pleased with the work they did in pruning my huge maple tree. It was very hot day but they worked efficiently and did a beautiful job. I was very happy with the price too. They cleaned up to my satisfaction. Recommend highly! You won't go wrong

Tomahawk came out for a full removal of a very large maple tree that was too close to our house. We also had another tree trimmed that had some storm damage. They were quick to respond, quick to start the job, and open to discussing various options and associated costs until we felt comfortable with our final decision. They did a great job and we will definitely go to them first for any future tree maintenance needs. Thank you

Tomahawk services is IMPECCABLE! Jim came-out and gave an estimate on my daughter/son in law property on the same day I called. He also came out the day before he was scheduled to service, to address more concerns my children had.
Jim is a fair business man and take pride in his business and work. His guys are professional and gets the job done and clean their work up very well. The crew took down branches off the roof area, tree limbs off some type of line running vertical to their roof as well, POISON IVY all over the property, more tree branches in the front of the home. They use signs for caution which is Amazing. I can write all day about this company, just know if you use Tomahawk, your in good honest hands. Thanks again guys!

I wish I could give 5 more stars!! Jim (owner) took my call over the weekend while he was away. Jim told me he would be at my house that Monday at 7:30am to give me an estimate. Jim beat all of the estimates. His crew came out that same day and completed the job within hours!! Jim is a great guy, knowledgeable and very courteous, the same goes for his crew! I highly recommend Tomahawk’s Tree Service!!!!

Great experience with the company. Jim, the owner, is fantastic to deal with. We used him twice. Once at our old home and again at our new home. We had an urgent situation in that trees fell down at our old home right before our open house. The house was up for sale and it was imperative that the the trees were removed quickly. I explained this to Jim and his crew was out the next day. We moved to our new home and needed trees removed on the back patio so that we could have a fence installed. Once again, Jim was there with his crew the next day. I would highly recommend this company.

A+ service by Jim and his team. From the initial quote through the cleanup, I have no complaints. Jim understood the requirements of the job, and offered his insight on some things we didn’t think of. He explained his plan to get the job done. The crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and kept me informed throughout the job. I highly recommend Tomahawak.

Great , professional service. All the guys are friendly, hardworking and expert tree removal extraordinaire. They worked in the whole yard , front and back. You would of never known they were there . The owner Jim was very nice and reasonable. He gave the best price out of the 4 quotes I received. Thanks again Jim

We had the best experience working with Tomahawk Tree Service. Jim was quick to answer when I made the initial phone call and was able to come out and give us an estimate even though there was snow on the ground. Jim was very helpful in sharing his expertise about our trees and gave us a few quote options to choose from, and he was so nice and personable too. The amount of work he and his team did for the price was unbeatable! We definitely made the right choice by choosing Tomahawk!

We had wood delivered right before the storm, the guy that helped us was so nice and helpful!

These guys are great! They were incredibly professional, great prices and quick to get my service done. Would recommend to anyone. My yard looks fantastic and they did an amazing job cleaning up and making it look like they weren’t even here.

All I can say is phenomenal service!! I had 2 very large dead trees that needed to be removed down to the stump. I am so pleased with every aspect of the service received from Tomahawk from my initial phone call all the way up to clean up. Jim responded quickly with coming to give me an estimate, which was by far the cheapest for the amount of work that needed to be done. They were prompt with arrival, organized, quick, and did an excellent job cleaning up all debris. The teamwork these guys had was amazing. I would recommend Tomahawk tree services in a heart beat!!

I couldn’t be more happier. The guys did an amazing job removing my trees. Great workmanship at a great price. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thanks again for a great job. Keith

Highly recommend! Jim and his crew could not have been better to work with! They took down an old giant tree from our front yard, ground down the roots, replanted a new tree and leveled out our front yard including planting grass seeds. The process was messy and loud, but they didn’t leave until our yard was completely cleaned up. In addition, they cut dangerous branches from our backyard tree and ground down the roots of another dead tree in our backyard. The entire crew was respectful and professional and Jim was knowledgeable and detailed about how to care for the new tree he planted. Jim followed up days later to make sure we were happy with their work. You will not go wrong using Tomahawk Tree Service!

Tomahawk did an excellent job cutting and pruning our trees for a very reasonable price. They are fully insured and have all the necessary equipment. They took care when cutting tall trees by securing them with ropes. They covered the yard to protect the lawn from the weight of heavy machinery and expertly ground down the stumps. They covered all bare areas with fresh soil and grass seed. We highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future!

We had an AMAZING experience with them, they came out quick for estimate then next day (today) took the tree down & stump! Their work is amazing & they were so fast! Would recommend 1000/10!
