Great services and knowledgeable. John and his crew are great at their jobs. Used them both for service and also now new install. Couldn’t ask for a more transparent and thorough process. The new system is the great. World of difference than the old system that wasn’t proper for this house.

Excellent contractor. John and his crew installed a Trane heatpump in our home. They arrived as scheduled and performed the work in a craftsman like manner. They left the work area in our basement cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of heating and air conditioning service, repairs or installations, competitive pricing as well.

So the plummeting temperatures hit and our furnace decided to go on the blink! We called John and he responded immediately, put us on his schedule, and tried to trouble shoot the problem. He warned us that the fix might be temporary because it looked like a bigger issue. The next morning our furnace once again quit working. John immediately returned our call and we set up a visit a few hours later. He had to retrieve a part in Youngwood and kept us informed. He returned with the new part at 7:00pm this evening so we could sleep this evening with a heated house.
We thank him for the prompt service and highly recommend Ridgeview Heating and Air Conditioning.

I spoke with John around noon about our AC not working, and he was at the house about 3 hours later--on the first 90+ day of the year! He had the replacement part on his truck, and our AC was back in service. I highly recommend Ridgeview!

Recently had an issue with an electronic gas valve on my furnace and woke up to no heat in my house. Called John at 7 and he made it up to Johnstown in an hour. Very professional service, very mindful of your carpets, and cleans up everything before they leave. My wife was able to let them in and I had no issue with that because I knew John would follow up with me personally if there were any issues. Great service at a great price

I have been using John for many years and he has always been a professional. My continued use of Ridgeview is the strongest recommendation I can make. John always explains the issues and offers alternatives and recommendations. In 2014, John recommended I replaced my HVAC system. I did. I have had no problems since.
Today John and Cody came and performed preventative maintenance and a proper cleaning. It sure is wonderful to deal with professionals. I know I am in good hands.

When our furnace went out suddenly, I gave them a call. The owner returned it that night and a technician came out the next morning to look at it (happened to have a cancellation). We ended up replacing our very old fixtures for a new furnace, new AC unit, and new water heater within a week later. They installed all within the same day. Very professional, responsive, and courteous crew. Highly recommend!

The first time our furnace went out on Dec 23rd last year I contacted a place near to me for an emergency visit and never got a call back. I found Ridgeview by accident on Google and I’m really glad I did. John was very personable and sent a tech out that was good with kerosene furnaces. He checked it and had parts on the truck to fix it. Almost a year later now the furnace is out again on a weekend. Again John answered and sent the same tech out. He didn’t have the part to fix it but worked to get it operable until he got the part on Monday and fixed it. He didn’t just get it running and charge us, he showed us the failed part and explained exactly how my specific model works. Twice they have saved my family and my 4 tropical birds during some very cold weather. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

In June/ July they worked with us to have a AC until our entire HVAC could be replaced. They were very professional, went over the use of the thermostat and how the HVAC functions. We had an error on the thermostat in October 2024. They responded immediately. We didn’t need immediate attention so they came out in a couple days. Turns out it was an electrical problem, not related to the HVAC. Highly recommend. I know I can depend on them for heating and cooling even after installation.

Wonderful service. The owner and workman were professional and fixed the issue the first time. Very easy to talk to and came out within that day after calling them. Very efficient and fast. Transparent about the cost and not looking to rip you off. Owner actually answers the phone when you call (unheard of nowadays). I highly recommended.

My 25 year old A/C stopped working and needed replaced. John and Cody did a great job of getting out to my house in a timely manner to address the problem. We had to wait to get an an entirely new unit, but they worked so hard when it came time to install. It was a long day for them because they had to move everything from one side of my house to another, but they did what they had to do and were very professional throughout. I have had dealt with other companies that will complain and even make you feel bad for having them do work, but not these guys. Even though it took a long day of work, they were so patient and professional! I definitely recommend this company and will continue to use them for any of our HVAC needs!

Ridgeview just installed a super efficient Trane furnace and heat pump system which will save me a lot of money in heating and cooling bills. They quoted the best price and delivery time and did a very neat job. The system was installed on the day they promised in 4 hours by a team of 3 very professional technicians. Strongly recommend these guys!
