My blower motor burned out on one of the coldest days of 2020. Fife Heating and Air were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Tim and Doug replaced my motor and I was back up in service in no time. They were life savers. I highly recommend Fife Heating and Air Conditioning.

Our clothes were not drying properly even though our dryer was only 3 years old. So we knew it had to be something with the vent. Fife hvac came in and cleaned our vents out and figured out that the dryer vent tubes were way too long and we’re getting kinked. They adjusted them and were so kind in the process. Can’t recommend them enough.

I met Tim Fife this afternoon. Great guy! Tim’s family has been living in this area since the 1750’s! I had no heat this morning so I called Fife HVAC and left my name and number with the answering service. Tim very promptly returned my call and showed up a short while later. Tim was honest, professional, and he diagnosed the issue with my furnace quickly and the repair was made. It was refreshing to come across a company like Fife. And they are local! Fife came to the rescue when our furnace broke during a cold snap. The fire department had come and red tagged our old furnace after it started leaking carbon monoxide. I was able to call Fife on their emergency line and they came out within the hour to check and see what they could do. By that evening we had a heated house to get us through the next couple cold days. All the workers did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone looking for heating and cooling needs.

Everyone was very responsive and friendly. Katie quickly scheduled the service call the same day. Don was very professional and resolved our air conditioner problem. He took the time to explain what he thought the problem was and said to contact him if there were further problems.

I called to make an appointment to have my central air unit checked, it wasn’t working. I spoke with Katie. She was like talking to someone that I’ve known for years. She was ready to send someone out a few hours later. The owner himself came. He had my air on within minutes. Talking with him was like talking to a close friend. He was down to earth and gave down to earth answers to my questions. He was fair with the cost of repair also. My over all experience was great!!!!

Tim and his crew did an excellent job. They worked hard to install our new AC system. They were very nice and answered all of our questions. They went above and beyond. We are very appreciative and highly recommend them.

My furnace died in February 2025. Fife came out and replaced my furnace (Trane 80,000 BTU 95% efficiency was on the quote/invoice). The furnace, a filter housing (Aprilaire Spaceguard filter) and AC Coil installed was $7950. I have nothing special about my furnace or where it's located, so there is no need for additional cost. A minor point to make is that they only say Trane on the invoice and during discussion, but they end up installing the lower end RunTru (manufactured by Trane) instead of a true Trane Furnace. Also, during the furnace install (probably removing the old furnace) they scratched my newly installed flooring and left things much dirtier than they were when they arrived (no care to wipe up or even vacuum the flooring where they were working). During discussions, I was advised that it would be preferable to go with the "older" R410 hardware/coolant instead of the newer coolant. We discussed installing a coil now because it made sense with the new furnace being installed and then they could come back in a few months to install the outside AC unit. Well, here we are, I called up Fife to install the outside AC unit and didn't hear back for a week (the same thing happened in Feb when I called for an invoice nobody ever responded or replied to my voicemail until I sent them an email a week later). Once I did get ahold of someone, they quoted me thousands more ($6250) than what they told me it would cost to install the outside AC unit (2.5 ton Trane - probably the lower quality RunTru they aren't being up front about)! Also, as I'm talking to other HVAC companies and experts, I'm finding out its nearly impossible to obtain an R410 AC unit for outside to match the R410 coil that was installed in February! My understanding (only finding this out recently) is that R410 units aren't made anymore and haven't been for a while. This must be why I've been quoted so much by Fife, but why would they advise me to install an R410 coil that I couldn't make use of!? I am not an HVAC expert, but I do know that I've been taken advantage of by Fife. From what others are telling me, I have to have an entirely new coil installed to accommodate the new coolant, after just having a coil installed in February! The only thing I can do here is let others know my experience so they can make an educated decision on their own. I have since had a few other HVAC companies look at the newly installed furnace/coil to provide quotes on how to deal with this mess. All of them were much more up front about things and significantly cheaper!
