When I started my search for a tree branch trimming service I put in several requests with various companies. Dan with Bubba Raye was the only person who got back to me the same day and I think within an hour. He's very professional and knows his business. His estimate was fair, he showed up on time, and completed the work we agreed to. I have a lot of trees and will no doubt be needing his services in the future-- I will not hesitate to call him again.

Dan and his crew were FABULOUS!!! We had 18 trees fall on our property after a horrendous storm. Dan came out the night of the storm, and was out the next morning to make our property as safe as he could that day. Our property needed multiple days because of the amount of damage but him and his team were professional, hard workers that worked nonstop, and were kind and understanding to our family given all that we went through.

Wow, not usual that things get done like you plan. The men from Bubba Raye Arbor Pros did an awesome job taking down the tree and clearing up. Very efficient and organized. Done in a timely fashion. Price was very fair or should I say excellent.

Dan and crew did a great job on a cold day. This was the third time they have trimmed my pin oaks in the past 10 years. Well worth every visit.

I recently had Dan and his crew come and remove a very tall, very dead pine tree. They were exceptional. Very kind and courteous. They also cleaned up my property before they left. I would definitely use them again, should the need arise.

Dan and his team did a great job! I was referred through Angi and got a call within two days and Dan was there a day later (a Saturday) for the estimate. I liked that Dan is an arborist and was able to explain things to me about which trees I should consider cutting in which I shouldn’t and why. Ultimately, it was still my decision, there was no pressure either way (to cut more or less).

They showed up right on time, in fact, early, I think. We touched base real quick again and they got to work. Before I could even blink they already taken down several large trees. Several had to fall in a very specific direction and Dan is able to do that with amazing accuracy.

Overall, there were about 40+ trees that were I’m guessing 100 feet tall or so and did it over 2 days. I asked them to cut the trunks into manageable pieces and cut off the limbs to make cleanup easier for me since I was keeping all the wood and they did an excellent job, Even stacking all the limbs into neat piles throughout the area.

I also needed stump grinding which he subs out. That gentleman came the day after they were done. He was very nice as well and also did a great job. I have no complaints at all.

It wasn’t cheap but all 3 of estimates I received were within $500 of each other so I’m sure the price was very competitive. Will definitely use them again if needed.

These guys are amazing! Dan is great to work with throughout the whole process! They have taken multiple trees down on my property and did it with great precision! Including 1 really close to my house and on a windy day! Definitely recommend them and will continue to use them!!

We had a 22,000 lb tree fall on our house knocking out all power and damaging a large portion of our house. They came out at almost midnight to assess the damage and come up with a plan for first thing the next day. Our house is free of all debris and the gentleman working went above and beyond to clean up the property. I cannot let highly recommend this exceptional company and crew.

We had seven dead trees that needed to be removed. Dan and his crew removed all seven trees, and were very thorough in the cleanup. I highly recommend them for any tree removal needs.

Dan, Lindsay and team were great! We had 6 trees get taken down in our backyard and a side tree trimmed and the price was affordable, they were very communicative about the whole process and easy to work with! They get you on the schedule right away and Dan and his team were super fast with taking all the trees down and they clean everything up after!

I can’t recommend Dan and his crew enough! Like many folks in Pittsburgh, we had a lot of trees down and damage from the storm in April. Dan made it a priority to get to our house as one of the trees had fallen on our deck directly next to our home. They worked hard removing not only 1 enormous pine tree, but 3-4 others that had fallen in the yard. It was a relief to have a reliable and professional crew out here helping us and by the size of the trees, I know it wasn’t an easy job to do. Would recommend to anyone with tree service needs, emergency or not!

We were very pleased with all aspects of service from Bubba Raye Arbor Pros (Dan and his crew)-from estimate/proposal to completion. Good communication. Prompt and professional service. Expert care given to our trees that needed trimmed. Neat/clean debris removal. While the estimate was not the lowest we received, we realized there was a level of expertise and knowledge that came with the service that stood above the others. We are a very satisfied customer who will use Bubba Raye Arbor Pros again.

Had a neighbors dead tree fall onto our tree , after the most recent wind storm . Dan and his team of 2 ( total 3 guys) came and removed dead tree and did some trimming of a few dead branches on another tree. What’s nice is he climbs. Doesn’t bring huge equipment in and rips up your yard. They were efficient , and did a beautiful clean up! I highly recommend them. Nice to support a small business !! Thanks Dan & your guys!!!

Thomas Tree Service did an excellent job from start to finish. Tom was great to work with—very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and actually answers the phone and calls you back, which is rare these days.

They removed 6 pine trees along a tight property line in my backyard, including grinding all of the stumps. Access to the area was very limited, but the crew handled it professionally and made every effort to avoid damaging the lawn with their equipment.

The team was efficient, safety-conscious, and the work was completed exactly as quoted with no issues or surprises. Cleanup was thorough—they raked the area and left everything in great shape.

The timeline was a little longer than I would have preferred, but this was right after a major windstorm and they were clearly in high demand, plus a few rainouts along the way. Given that, communication was strong throughout the process.

Pricing was very fair for the scope and difficulty of the job. Overall, a very smooth experience—I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.
