Reviews of local pros in Harleysville, Pennsylvania

I had a storm damaged tree that needed to be removed before it caused damage to property. These guys came and removed the tree within a couple of hours of me calling. Very professional and friendly. They cleaned up the area and street nicely before leaving. Highly recommend their service.

Michael and his crew were amazing. They arrived when they said they would did the job quick and cleaned up everything. If I didn't know that they were there I would never have known other than the piles of wood chips! And how many companies actually charge you what they estimated? They do! Thanks guys!

Mike the owner and his son are stand guys who were very responsive with a quote and answering any questions I had. We had 4 large ash trees taken down by them and I was incredibly pleased by there professionalism, worked rendered and price. I had a few requests that they accomadated without any issues. I would highly recommend these guys. Thanks Mike!!!

We brought Mike and his crew in to do tree work for the Borough. They were fast, safe and respectful at good price. I would highly recommend this company.

Hired for tree and brush removal. Very responsive and great communication. The crew did great work and were very quick given the large amount of work involved. They were great for any changes that came up and able to adapt as needed. Definitely recommend to others.

I highly recommend McCauley Tree Service. They are responsive, professional and reasonably priced. They removed 14 trees on our challenging lot and we could not be happier with how smoothly it went. Looking forward to working with them in the future!

Very disappointed in their response to our request for their services ! A year ago we were given a written estimate regarding work that needed to be done to our property. We were told that we would be put on their schedule and they would be calling back with a specific date ! After several months we called back and were told that it would be checked into and someone would get back to us . No one has gotten back to us even after a two more calls requesting information . We were given the same response and yet no one has given us the courtesy of a phone call ! Since we have used them in the past and we were impressed by their work ethic we are really disappoint with their treatment in our current situation .

We received a phone call shortly after previous posting . It appears that our order had been filed incorrectly and was listed as completed ! The McCauley family could not have been more apologetic ,,
An appointment was scheduled and the work was completed this date ! We could not be more impressed with this family . They did not disappoint ! The work was done quickly and they left our property in better shape than it was ! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to deal with an extremely professional , quality oriented removal service ! Many thanks for your superior service !

Folks-if you need tree service, this is the company to go with. A very detailed project following the Isaias storm on August 4th. Michael, his sons Mike and Brian along with their team kept in touch and arrived on the scheduled day at the scheduled time. 5 trees could not have been in a worse location, now they are GONE. Complete clean up at the end. Call them and schedule - so you can move on to your next project!

McCauley arrived on-site and got straight to business. The work at hand covered numerous dead ash and pine trees. They did a top notch quality job and turned around the project at incredible speed. Awesome service at competitive pricing!

I can't say enough about the work this company and the guys did today 7/29/20. I had two large trees within feet of my house that needed to be removed. They showed up on time and took no time to do the job and yet it wasn't rushed. They gave the best estimate. There was barely a foot print and I was truly impressed by the excellent service! I highly recommend them.

McCauley Tree Service did an amazing job with the tree removal at Meadow Park. Two days and the park trees were gone and cleanup was like they were never their. Highest recommendation to call them when you need any Tree or Landscaping Services.

Very satisfied with the work. Family owned business. Tree work needed was significant and had potential risks to the house.McCauley team provided all the necessary precautions to get the job done safely. Provided me with all the right documentation and explained the detailed process. Job was done fast, clean and safe. A plus.

Mike and his team were AMAZING! Professional, punctual, friendly and did an unbelievably great job on our HUGE trees in our difficult to access backyard. They ran into concrete poured into the center of our trees (!) and it took them longer than they had hoped- and didn't charge us a cent more than they quoted. Will use again if needed and will DEFINITELY recommend!! The best!!

The McCauley family and crew completed tree work for me today. Took down 16-20 trees, trimmed a few others, ground a ton of stumps and cleaned up a few brush piles I made a mess of myself. If you need to know if this crew has integrity and cares then check this out..... I had some random pumpkins growing in one of the brush piles.... without prompting Mike senior cut them out and put them to the side knowing I have 2 little boys who would enjoy them! Who does that!! May seem simple but it’s says the world! To top it all off the crew came in and didn’t mess around - they got all the work done quickly, efficiently, safely and took the time and care around my house as if it was there own. Great service - fair price and most importantly good people!

Mike Sr and his crew arrived ontime with state of the art equipment and removed 22 trees and also trimmed 3 large oaks on our property They grinded all stumps and removed everything. The property was left spotless with no damage to the lawn...We were very pleased with the service we recieved from this tree service and recommend ANYONE who needs trees removed or trimmed to please hire McCauley Tree Service ..These guys are truely incredible and their pricing just beats any competitor youll find out there. Thanks for your great service ..The Santos Family

Mike and his team are one of the best businesses - of any kind - i have dealt with. I have been a repeat delighted client for years and cannot imagine contracting any other tree service. This business is fair, dependable and highly professional. Hire McCauley, you cannot go wrong.

Very positive experience with this company and I loved being able to support a small local business. Their communication was excellent- never left me waiting days for a reply and they were so kind- in person and emails/ phone calls. They worked within the time frame I needed and they did excellent work, working timely and efficiently, cleaned up leaving things in better shape than before they arrived (and the trees we needed taken down were very large and tall) and really went above and beyond what we asked. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again for any future tree removal needs.

100% would recommend. Mike and team removed a large pin oak and several large hanging branches from our yard. They were responsive, clear in communication from start to finish, on time, efficient, and meticulous with their work. We are appreciative and happy to refer anyone to McCauley.

I cannot say enough about how impressed we were with McCauley Tree Service. We had originally scheduled to have 3 trees on our property taken down in the next few weeks. Last week, the largest of the 3, about 3-4 ft around, fell down on its own into a neighbors yard creating a huge mess. I contacted Brian McCauley right away about the situation and without a second thought he rearranged the schedule to get here. They were pleasant, organized, well equipt and worked with precision, always being conscience of our and neighboring properties. Everything is so clean you'd never even know they were here. I still cannot believe the one section of that largest tree weighed in at 5600 lbs! Wow! Thank you guys again!

Very happy with McCauley Tree Service. Had several dead trees on my property - one of which was HUGE. I received several estimates and they were by far the most fair and professional throughout the entire process. I was very confident with their work - even with the large tree they needed to remove that was very close to my house. Thank you!

It is my pleasure to highly recommend McCauley tree service. They are family owned and great to work with. After a bad storm I had a large tree down and others that were soon to follow. They came out and cleared all including stumps in record time. Needless to say I was very grateful and relieved to have this taken care of so efficiently. All at reasonable price too!
