My experience with Luis Martinez and Major-HVAC could not have been worse. I contracted with Martinez to install a high velocity Unico HVAC system in my house. Instead, he installed a mismatched 4-ton Lennox condenser and a 3.5-ton Spacepak (3642) air handler. Because of the mismatch, the system cycles on and off continuously and the unit cannot cool my house below 78 or 79 degrees, if not even higher on hot days. While the contract calls for a 10-year warranty, Martinez does not return phone calls. Recently, he made two appointments to come look at the issue telling me he wants to make it right and then proceeded to not come to either appointment. So buyer beware if you are looking for an HVAC contractor who stands by their work and their word, I’d advise you to look elsewhere.
