Got my generator installed in October. Easy and fast install, just had to wait for the permit to be approved and they came to install.

Had a generac 22kW installed last month.The experience was good in general.Shawn the installer was nice,helpfull and educated us at the end of the process.

Got a Cummins installed by them for my daughter’s house in Jearsy a week ago.Everything was smooth.We’re just waiting for the inspection next week and we’re good to go.Good value for our money.

We had them install a generator and bought the service plan. Had a gas smell they said it was normal and would go away, its faded but still there a bit ....now its Time for service and these guys won't answer phone at all, no response to emails either. So we have to hire someone else now .

Spend the extra $and get a certified authorized dealer. They are not experts by any means. We have had too many issues to write in one review from install to service to generator actuallyw properly when needed

They installed My generator the service and the install was awesome these guys went above and beyond they work ethics I will definitely recommend them to people…. The installer Nick I think that’s his name he was awesome

I would highly recommend Colonia Generators because of the overall ease of the installation. The installers were completely professional, polite and good-natured. Great service and well worth every penny!

This has been a horror show installation right from the beginning. $20,000+ and 18 months later I still do not have a functioning generator. The Sanford FL branch has just closed its doors and I cant reach their main office in PA. If anyone starts a consumer fraud case against them please let me know!

everyone there was great......until I needed a repair , then they avoided my calls and emails like the plague … when I bought generator the salesman , the guys that came out to measure , the installers and everyone on the phone were all fantastic … a couple of weeks ago I called for my 1 year maintenance , no problem... lost power the other night and it was running sperraticly.. then it shut down completely so I opened cover to find spark plug wire had fallen off . I plugged back in and got generator running.
when power came back on the transfer switch wouldn't switch back to utility. I called local office in Dedham MA and was told they would try to get an electrician out to me ..well , that never happened .. sent email to them and have called and left no less than 6 messages today , they don't answer their phone or return your calls , my generator has been running for almost 48 hours now and can't get them to help me ..so they will be great until you have a problem … before this they would have gotten 5 stars now 1.. anyone can make a sale but I guess not everyone can provide good service.. such a shame...

There was some miscommunication between myself and the reps for this company but it was swiftly and professionally taken care of by the VP, Linda and I am more than satisfied with the efforts to provide a solution and satisfy my needs and work well with the situation involving my generator installation. I would defiantly recommend this company for services.,

We had a standby generator installed by Colonial Generator last year. We have been trying for 3 months now to have this company honor our PREPAID service maintenance contract with no success. Numerous calls and emails have not been returned. So, BUYER BEWARE! Once they have your money, you no longer exist in their eyes. Most unscrupulous business we have ever dealt with, too bad they do not live by the motto DO THE RIGHT THING!
