Reviews of local pros in McKeesport, Pennsylvania

Quick service, fair pricing and professional work ethic.

Great service they did a wonderful job on a tree in my yard I will be contacting them again soon great work once again

Happy of their work in removing two mulberry trees . Especially when there were fences from two neighbors and our own. Great work by the owner and his workers

Fantastic service! Great estimate, responded promptly to my request for an estimate and scheduled work with two days of the estimate. Very professional. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Csorba Tree Experts. Responsive to voicemails, very reasonable prices, fast, and great clean-up. They have a large crane that allows them to remove large trees in a tight area with precision, it is kind of fascinating watching them work, they truly are experts.

The group did a great job. Came on time , worked very efficiently and effectively removing a very large tree in my yard. Price was very reasonable and they did so quite quickly

Recently had 4 rather large trees removed from my properly. Csorba Tree service was fast, clean, professional and competitively priced. I would recommend anyone looking to have trees removed to call them for an estimate.

Amazing! I called and got a GREAT estimate. I called back the next day to set up an appointment and he said he could come that day. The people were very friendly. He cleaned up well after cutting down and stump grinding 2 pines and a few other trees. The price cannot be beat! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a tree that had been destroyed by insects and partially fell down in my yard. I called Csorba and he came out about an hour later. He gave me an estimate which was more than fair for the work that was being performed. He came out the next morning and had the whole tree gone in about an hour. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend him and if I have anymore tree issues, I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

Csorba Tree Services provided an excellent estimate. The price was less than half of some other competitors that I got quotes from. Once I called to move forward, it was only a few days before we were able to schedule a day for them to come out and trim one tree and remove another. We were very happy with the way they pruned the Japanese Maple. The enormous Sumac tree was wedged in between two other trees and some power lines, and they were able to remove it without any damage to the other trees. They were very professional and did an extremely thorough job of cleaning up all the mess from the job. Definitely would recommend.

Jim and team made taking down a large maple look easy. He tethered the top,
cut the base, lifted the whole tree straight up in the air & gently laid it in the alley. He then cut, chopped and chipped. Straight talker, great cleanup and fair pricing. Strongly recommend his services. He is also one of the two who actually returned my call. Looking forward to watch his artistry when he prunes my locust tree! Thanks Jim!

Extremely professional, would definitely recommend them. Great job cleaning up after done.

Hired Jim to remove 11 trees at a property and I couldn't be happier. Professional, punctual, good communication, fairly priced, cleaned up. Highly recommend.

Like to thank Luke from steel city arbors with a good job on pruning my tree the ground crew very good as well. they took time with the tree and they cleaned up the yard very well.

These guys do a fantastic job. They got me on the schedule promptly, removed a fallen pine and ~100’ locust. The job was fabulous, clean up was great, no damage to yard, reasonably priced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STEEL CITY ARBORIST! CALL THEM!

A very large tree fell on our property, causing a lot of damage. Luke Ekels and his crew cleaned it up in a timely manner. We couldn’t be more pleased with Steel City Arborist and highly recommend them.

We recently had several trees cut down and pruned by Steel City Arborist, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. From start to finish, Luke and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, hardworking, and incredibly kind.

They listened carefully to exactly what we wanted, while also making thoughtful suggestions along the way that really helped us make the best decisions for our property and safety. After some recent storms, we were very concerned about trees potentially falling on our home, and now we finally feel safe and at peace knowing everything was handled properly.

What really stood out was the care they put into their work. They treated our property with respect, cleaned everything beautifully, and went above and beyond in ways we never expected. One of the most special touches was when Luke turned one of our tree trunks into a chair so I could sit and watch the sunsets in my backyard. It was such a creative and thoughtful gesture that meant so much to me.

It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, professionalism, safety, and genuine kindness the way Steel City Arborist does. We are beyond grateful and highly recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. Thank you, Luke and the entire crew, for making such a difficult project feel so positive!

Does amazing work. Luke is very professional and knowledgeable.

Highly recommend Steel City Arborist! Had an aging tree that was starting to take over the yard and grow a bit too close to the house - Luke Eckels removed 33% of the tree, at a reasonable rate, maintained the integrity of the tree, AND left my back yard in better shape than it was when they arrived. (removed all old branches and leaves) Thanks guys! Truly appreciate your hard work.

We had an estimate scheduled, and I was asked to reschedule as the job they were on that day was running long.

So for our next estimate appointment, I snuck out of work a few minutes early, and my wife changed up her plans so we could make sure one of us was home.

Unfortunately, they never showed up for our rescheduled estimate. No phone call or text. Just a no show.

We ended up going with a different service.

Steel City Arborist did great work removing multiple trees from my property at an excellent price. The problem is that I never approved them doing it. I got a quote from them through my buyer's agent before buying my house. A few weeks after buying my house I came home to find that they were removing the trees without ever talking to me! They had apparently talked to my buyer's agent at some point who said I might call them soon. This somehow became "Do several thousand dollars of work without ever talking to the owner."
