The electrician came troubleshooted and made necessary repairs. He was very friendly and professional. I would recommend him to my family and friends. He also practiced social distancing and wore a mask which we appreciated. We will definitely call him again.

We were very pleased with the service provided by Warren Electric. They responded quickly and completed the work we needed in an efficient manner. The employee was very polite and considerate, and patient with our three small dogs. We plan to call them whenever we need work in the future and have recommended them to many of our friends and family members.

In September, 2021, I hired Warren Electric to upgrade my outdated fuse box to a breaker box and for it to be “inspected and stickered.” Cody replaced the fuse box (and damaged my garage door opener because he hooked something up incorrectly.) After waiting for almost six weeks for him to contact his inspector, I hired an inspector myself. There were two failed inspections. After the second failed inspection, I asked Cody multiple times to have his inspector do the next inspection since he had issues with the inspections from the inspector I hired. After two months he contacted his inspector and I received the third failed inspection. Cody’s response to the failed inspections is that he was hired to upgrade the fuse box only and didn’t want to fix someone else’s work. I guess it was up to me to know that I needed a new service entrance cable, ground rods, my water line bonded, etc. Had I known, I would have specified those issues also. When I asked him how much more this would cost since I already paid the initial cost, paid for additional work after the first failed inspection, and paid for an new garage door opener, I received no response. Six months and three failed inspections later, I hired another electrician who will make the upgrades Cody wasn’t willing to do.

This initially would have been a 5-star review. I like Cody personally, and he did a good job with our panel upgrade. But the situation has gone downhill since. We had solar panels put in shortly after Cody upgraded our panel. I thought we were getting the solar and panel upgrade inspected at the same time, but apparently the panel upgrade wasn’t in the system yet. A couple weeks later, Duquesne Light made me shut off the solar panels because the panel upgrade hadn’t been inspected. The inspection, according to Cody, happened about a week and a half ago, nearly a month after I thought it was happening. But Duquesne Light hasn’t received the inspection report, so I’m still not allowed to turn the solar panels on. In the past week I’ve called Cody three times and texted him eight times, and he has not answered any calls and has sent me only two brief texts saying he’d check in with the inspector. Then he called me twice and said some confusing stuff about the inspector being at my house (he was not), and then went back to ignoring my calls and texts.

I have no idea if it’s Cody or the inspector dropping the ball here. I suspect it’s the inspector, but Cody has not given me any explanation of what’s going on and what I can do to get it resolved. I’d contact the inspector directly, but Cody has not replied to me asking twice for his contact information. Meanwhile, my very expensive solar panels sit there soaking up May sunshine and converting none of it into electricity. I’m losing money every day this drags on.

I’ll update this review if this ever gets sorted out.

Update: After I posted this review, Cody suddenly started responding to me again. We finally got everything sorted out, but I did not appreciate being ghosted for a week. It also turned out that he had subbed out part of the job without telling me, which I didn’t love because I had told Cody the code to our back door so that he could complete the inspection while we weren’t home, and he apparently then gave it to this other contractor who turned out to be completely unreliable (I deleted the code I gave him, obviously). It was all a frustrating and stressful experience.

Cody came on a Sunday to fix an outlet! Called that day and came to fix it that day. Great service will call again.

Cody does great work. Shows up....dependable....fair priced. We are lucky we found him. We had him do work on a house we were selling and our new home. Always came through. He's the best in a time when it's hard to find good, dependable skilled workers.

The second service he remodeled my family room and my living room by putting spots in the ceiling and installed a ceiling fan for my bedroom.

We needed to upgrade our 240 Volt line with a grounded line and outlet. Cody and his assistant did an outstanding job replacing the line to the breaker box and upgrading our house with a safer electrical line. Excellent service at a fair price and very professional! Cody from Warren Electric was great. Very professional and affordably priced. I called him in the morning to see if he could fix the wiring for my breaker box to hook up a new stove and he was at my house in the afternoon. Would definitely call him again for any electrical needs.

We contacted him because we need some outside and inside house repairs.He promised he will give us estimates but all we received is excuses from him. We will understand if doesn't want to do the job but at least be honest and inform us that he is busy so we can look for another electrician instead of keeping us waiting for his estimates. When we received the estimate we informed him that we agreed with the price and we would like to know if he can go to our place Friday or Saturday but again with no surprise- NO response from him..We waited for him to agree with our schedule because we still want to give him a chance but again he did not respond so we decided not to use his service. Our time is important so is he. A little respect goes a long way. I am very disappointed with Cody and I will not use his service.

I've used Warren Electric several times now for different jobs. I've had an issue with a fan fixed, a service line replaced, and had two circuits ran and new plugs added in a kitchen. Cody was awesome to work with each time. My husband and I own several rental properties and we've found that it is often very difficult to get people to respond to you, let alone show up. We have never had that issue with Cody. While I never want there to be an issue in any of our properties, I'm always relieved when they are electrical issues, because I know that we can trust Cody and that he will be able to help as soon as he is available! He is so great at working with you and your needs. The best way to get in contact with me is through a text message and we've sorted it out that we communicate that way. But, I know he is also happy to pick up the phone and chat if you want! I like paying bills online as it helps me keep our records organized, and Cody is more than happy to send an invoice and let you pay online. With all of the people we work with for our rental properties (contractors, HVAC, handymen, etc.) I can honestly say that Warren Electric is the best one that we engage with. Cody is so responsive and very knowledgeable. I even recommended him to my mom and my mom couldn't have been happier with Cody (my mom even took a selfie with him and he was so sweet about it). So, if you need someone to take care of any of your electrical needs, I would highly HIGHLY recommend Cody for any of those. I trust that he will be able to address the issues that you have!

Warren Electric did a big job for us. We recently moved into an older home and wanted to upgrade our service and replace the circuit breaker panel. Cody and team did a fantastic job! Laid out all of the options for us when he came out to provide the estimate and answered our questions. Reasonable prices, work was done timely, and our garage was left cleaner than they found it. We highly recommend Warren Electric and will be using them again in the future for our electrical projects!

Cody was great! Very professional and educated in his work. His quality of work was great as well. He double checked his work, and explained in simple terms what was done.
