John Kovalak was extremely knowledgeable & helpful. The three men who did the work were impressive both in how hard they worked but how well they worked together. The man in the bucket who did the cutting was amazing & this was one of those times that paying a little more actually saved me. The Silver Maple they cut down was very large and not one branch feel on a line or house or anything. Please pass my highest commendation to John & these other men. - Terry

Todd Sherbondy came out to our property today to inspect our trees, as they appear to be quite sick and damaged. He was so friendly, patient, and detailed. I feel like I have a much better understanding of what is going on with my trees, and even the soil. I know what to expect as they age and what I can do to keep them healthy and/or prevent further damage. Todd was very realistic about their condition and about what we and they can do about it, and helped us figure out which trees were a priority and which could wait. It's obvious that Todd loves his work and truly cares about his clients. I feel so lucky to have had him stop by, not only for our trees, but because he is also just a lovely person to talk to. We're really looking forward to working further with him!

Davey Tree crew came to prune out our giant PinOak and cut some dead limbs. The job was executed swiftly and professionally. Clean-up afterward was amazing. It was like they were never here cutting and chipping. This is the second time we have used Davey Tree and are very happy with their services. Will continue to use in the future.

I contacted Davey because my Hemlocks were suffering from Wooly Adelgid. I met with Todd Sherbondy and we discussed options for treatment. A week later Todd and technician Julie treated my hemlocks and will be back in the fall to fertilize them. Todd was very knowledgeable and I've enjoyed meeting and working with him. The workers were hard workers and worked together to get the job done. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable! Our biggest tree needed a lot of dead wood removed and trimmed-it looks amazing! Our Japanese maple had loads of dead wood inside and the person doing that actually laid on her back and trimmed it all away! AMAZING!!

We hired them for a big job. To cut down more than 10 trees, trim several others and cut out wisteria and such. They were at our house for 3 days. They did an amazing job. We are very happy with the results.

Diane and her crew came to do some dormant pruning of our trees and shrubs. Their work was amazing. Diane also seemed to be teaching as the team worked. Very knowledgable! ( and she also gave us some good tips!) This crew came on time, worked efficiently, did a great job, especially with our magnolia, and cleaned the property as they worked. Salesman said he would come out after work was complete to make sure we are satisfied. Havent seen nor heard anything from him. They were going to haul some debris out, never did. They show up unannounced and want to spray things that I did not authorize. C- grade

Todd came out to quote the job, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Quoted a date a week out. Heavy storm delayed the work, was told another week out. Full month passed from the new estimate with no further communication and no one came to do the work. Cancelled the order.

I had a tree downed in the 4/29/25 storm. It did not hit the house or my neighbor's so it was not an emergency call. It did land and was entwined into other trees. Davy's got here, 9 AM 5/7/25. They marked their work perimeter quickly so traffic and pedestrians would move effectively. They worked safely and efficiently to remove the downed one and took 4 others as well. The crew cleaned up very nicely and left a good looking site. I thought the price to be very fair. I have been involved in other tree removals recently and this price was totally in line with those others.

I needed a dead tree cut down in our backyard. There is an rock wall near it without mortar and it was in the middle of a garden bed. They were able to schedule a crew within a week, which was really nice, and they took the tree down without touching the rock wall and with far less disruption to the garden bed as we expected. Nicely cleaned up and hauled away everything. Very satisfied.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY WILL END UP CAUSING A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT!!! I’ll tell you what, I hope you guys cut down trees better than you drive! The third time I was cut off by one of your drivers (the long faced blonde bearded dope.) Incident occurred on 1-15-26 @ 720 am. While I was driving 20 mph, directly in front of their shop on Seco Rd., driver decided to pull out in front of me from a dead stop, I was maybe 50 feet away. This is not the first incident of a Davey driver pulling out in front of people in the business park. Same incident occurred last year at this time resulting in an accident. Remember the gray Dodge Ram that went into the telephone pole right out front of your shop?? I do! Your organization is a hazard to other motorists. A report has been filed with DOT. TRAIN YOUR DRIVERS CORRECTLY or they will end up killing someone! You are known to every business in this business park to have horrible drivers, correct it now!
