I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, I had a wonderful experience with Mold Men of Pittsburgh! The crew showed up on time, and completed the job quickly, they actually went above and beyond after needing to cut more of my wall than expected. They explained everything clearly, even talked to my husband on the phone to answer his questions since he could not be there. They cleaned up everything up after and did not leave any mess behind.
It’s hard to know what to do or who to call when you find mold, but this company definitely exceeded my expectations!

Matt, Nate, and the rest of the Mold Men crew were fantastic. They explained the process thoroughly, kept me on the loop as to their progress, and contacted me for a walk through as they finished up. Additionally, Matt was able to squeeze us in on short notice. I highly recommend them.

We had been dealing with different contractors for months trying to get quotes and work started. It was a nightmare. Once we called mold men they were in with a quote, started, completed and cleaned up within 3 days. The damage was more extensive than expected but the amount due was still exactly as quoted.

The whole process was professional and easygoing. I only had two rooms to deal with, some might not think it a big deal but they did an air test first, and remediated after that. Worth every penny.

Best price quoted. Purchased a home and the inspector must have missed the basement. It was a disaster. These guys came in and it looks like a totally different basement now and smells clean and fresh. They showed up early and did the job in a day. Everyone was professional and to the point. Now I can get in there and paint!

Absolute nightmare! We hired this company to remove mold in an attic. We took off work the two days that were needed to have the mold removed.unfortunately this lasted three weeks after their workers crashed their equipment through our ceiling and into a wall in our basement causing severe damage. We ended up taking several days off of work to accommodate them they had no intention of trying to accommodate us by coming on the weekend telling us it’s the only time they could come make these repairs from the damage they caused to our home. The repair work they did was terrible. This whole experience with this company has been a complete nightmare I would not recommend them to anyone. And after sending Payment through the mail. Matt called and threatened us with legal action if we did not pay him. We put a check in the mail and we had a holiday so it was late a day or two and he had the nerve to threaten us legally and it hadn’t even been a week.With so many other options out there I would recommend anyone to choose someone else besides this company

I contacted mold men of Pittsburgh due to a water leak from our hot water tank. The workers were always rushed cutting as many corners as they could. They asked my husband to paint the closet and put the shelving back up which I insisted he would not do. They had me buy the paint and they never did a second coat on the walls. The floor under the water tank was not sealed there are many cracks that mice are now coming through. I probably now need a contractor to repair this. I also paid to have the house cleansed at the end of the project which wasn't even brought up and not done even though I paid for it. Do not use these people. They don't do a thorough job.

We are selling our home and got an inspection report that we had mold in our attic. I called the Mold Men after I asked a contractor friend if he knew anyone who did mold work. He said he hadn’t worked with Mold Men directly but remember their cars and vans driving around. I called on Monday morning and got a call back shortly after that. Matt was able to come out to assess our situation a couple days later. We set up an appointment for Monday. The technicians were prompt and made quick work of our problem. Kudos to the technicians who had to work in our small ceiling crawl space to absolve the problem. They worked quickly and efficiently. We got a good quote and they stuck to that price. I’d hire again.

I needed to get my car tested for mold after leaving my car open in a rainstorm. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Matt arrived on time and explained the process to me very thoroughly. When I got the mold report back he gave a very detailed report and analysis. His explanations were really helpful and he answered all of my super paranoid mold questions. Very professional.

Super friendly New Ken staff — made my stress level go down dealing with these folks!! Estimate was very professional and worth the cost. The work was evaluated and scheduled promptly to meet my deadlines needs. The cleaning team was on time and very detailed. Super nice work!!! I can breath easy!
