The A&P technicians who installed my central air conditioning did a very professional job. Unfortunately I cannot rate the company highly. I was referred to A&P Furnace as a company that was eco-friendly. They assured me that the Goodman central air conditioning system I purchased from them was 16 SEER. The label on the outdoor condenser unit stated that my system was 14.5 SEER. When I asked A&P about this, they told me it was actually rated 16 because of the combination of the indoor and outdoor units. This turned out to be incorrect. When I went to apply for a Duquesne Light energy efficiency rebate I learned that the system they sold me had a lower rating. A&P claimed the manufacturer's labeling system was confusing, in that it grouped systems that were less than 16 SEER within a numbering scheme that suggested 16 SEER; they had been selling it as such for years.

Every system has an AHRI number that lets you verify the SEER rating online. I suggest obtaining this number from the supplier before installation to verify what you are getting.

Had to call on a weekend because of a furnace malfunction during extremely cold weather. Josh, the technician, came to our home on a Saturday, did a repair, explained what he was doing step by step. Very kind and courteous. Would not hesitate to call again either with a problem or a need for new equipment.

Every other home repair company I have ever used credit the bill for the diagnostic fee towards your total amount due. This company does not credit the diagnostic fee if/when you choose to use them for other repair services.

In addition to that, when I asked for clarification on a particular charge that was listed as an "adjustment", it was explained that it was a labor fee. The company was unable to explain why it was listed as an adjustment, instead of a labor fee. The response was that they work on a "fixed cost fee" system, which seems to imply that there would be no need for "adjustments".

My one star rating is solely based on unclear billing and no advance explanation that the diagnostic fee is always in addition to any other services you pay for, which is different than most home service providers.

Referred to me from a friend. The tech arrived promptly and after assessing clearly explained my options to get my furnace back up and running. Finished the repair and cleaned up the area like he was never there. Made a stressful situation far less stressful. Will be my first call next time I need service.

I had A&P Furnace install a Trane furnace and air conditioning unit, replacing my 60 year old furnace. The two installers did an amazing job, they were neat, courteous, competent and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a truly exceptional HVAC company.

Got a estimate from John , he was very straight forward with the pricing . The crew showed up to install my new furnace and air conditioner , they answered all my questions. The whole process was easy and the install turned out great.

I had an emergency repair that needed done. As soon as I called in the emergency, they sent out a technician to see what was going on. Something had clogged in the drain hose causing water to flood my carpet. John helped me and had the issue resolved in a matter of minutes. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful in the house. They are a top notch business and care about the work they do everyday. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in need of new installation or repairs to existing HVAC systems.

I have been using them to do basic service for years and have been very satisfied. This year I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed while remodeling to have a new room added for my father to move into. They were very professional, did a great job installing products, and were very understanding and punctual to make modifications for the addition. I have dealt with many bad seeds until I found the real deal with A&P!! The furnace I replaced was 40 years old and the AC was 20 years old. We manage 14 Residential properties, and at one time had a mix of service contracts with multiple contractors. Because of experience with A&P Furnace, we have consolidated all of our contracts with them. I have found the techs to be well trained and honest, without trying to pad the bill with unnecessary work. They have been very responsive when emergencies do occur, but they have been few and far between because of thorough preventative maintenance.

A&P may want to consider a name change to A+ because that's the type of service you receive! A&P has installed and serviced my HVAC for over 20 years. Fair, honest, and reliable sums up what you can expect.

Companies are only as good as their employees and this is another reason A&P excels. Their service tech John is just great. Courteous, professional, and he understands his customers have questions. He answers your questions in a way that you know you are in good hands. Call A&P you won't be disappointed.

Contacted this company in the morning after my furnace had stopped in the middle of the night.. They were there by 11 AM to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately they did not have the part on hand I needed but made every effort to find it. Had to have it shipped from Cincinnati but it was here the next day. They came an installed it and had me warm that day even though they thought we might not get it until the following day. Thank you for your prompt and efficient help with my issue! I would most definitely refer them to others. Good customer service that you do not see much of these days. Thank you!!!

I bought a trane comfort package from A&P and couldn't be happier. When I met with the salesman John he made me feel like I was dealing with a true professional. On the day of installation the crew showed up on time and were all polite and professional. They went above and beyond my expectations. The install was top notch. The company sent someone to determine our furnace problem. Dan and Chuck came the next morning to install the new furnace as it was most cost effective. They were awesome! The job was done quickly and efficiently. Great service, fair price, this is the company to call if you're in need of repairs or installation.
