Jamison sent Lou to repair an outdoor step and repair a fieldstone wall that had cracked, and had loose stones. Lou was professional and cordial, and took pains to do excellent repair work but also cleaned up before leaving. The wall looks like new. The prices were reasonable. We have no complaints.

Our house is 102 years old, and the mortar around the house was starting to crumble. We really wanted the absolute best service to keep the house looking great and the Jamison crew did a fantastic job. They repaired and repointed several places around the foundation, and gave us confidence that the repairs would last at least another 100 years. I really appreciate the approach that they took, and it really felt like they were providing service at the highest level.

After many calls to many other companies going unreturned for repairs to my chimney stucco plus adding a cap, Jamison returned my call. They were able to squeeze my repairs in ahead of time after I let them know we had sold our home and wanted to leave the house with a repaired and capped chimney.

Everyone was courteous and friendly. The repairs are beautiful. We are very happy with their work. Give them a try for your stucco.

Zack and Hoa did great work on my recent project which was to repair a number of areas of mortar on our brick house that were crumbling (lintels, foundation stone, seams between bricks). I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently they completed the project (under 3 days).

They also proactively fixed some areas that were not initially thought to need repair. They were on time each morning, were polite and non-intrusive, and also coordinated well with another company who was wrapping up an unrelated exterior project. This is the second project where I’ve used Jamison and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Zack was part of our last project (new flagstone walkway and landing) too.

John Dragon and Joe Lee from Jamison were amazing! Masonry repairs to an older stone home. They did an amazing job of matching the mortar color of the repairs with the original mortar color. They were efficient, kind and professional.

Masonry is a craft. Michael, Cody and Eamon are masters of their craft. We had our front steps completely redone utilizing both brick and flagstone. Additionally, Michael and Cody repointed the brick of an existing wall and wingstack. We appreciated their expertise and experience in completing this project.

Jamison, as a company, and the trades people who represent them, are professional and detail oriented. Working with Tyler and Rob was a pleasure. In addition to doing a good quality job, they listened and responded to my concerns. I highly recommend Jamison Home Services.

Basement Waterproofing to include below ground-level drainage system and sump pump install

DO NOT use this company for your basement waterproofing project. On the scheduled day of service, the crew arrived late. Initially, a single employee arrived in a company vehicle. He did not have the specifications for the job. He was waiting for the box truck to arrive with the foreman. This truck arrived 45 minutes later with the materials and the crew. Upon backing in, the foreman ripped my internet cable from the source. When the driver/foreman was approached about the damage he became immediately defensive. The foreman (who was also the driver of the truck), was dismissed from the job.

The work that was completed was not equivalent to the 30 years of craftsmanship boasted about on Jamison's website. The channel drain system, which was one of the reasons I hired the company, was duct taped together. There is a gap in the channel system which will cause water to drain below the foundation of my house; thereby, negating what I was trying to avoid with installing the drainage system and sump pump. Prior to the crew leaving upon completion of the work, the same day, the system was never tested. When the Project Manager/Salesman returned to my home the following evening, he tested the system, only to have water spray onto the floor of my basement from the sump pump! There are many additional details that have resulted in this rating of 0 for this company. I have photos of their craftsmanship, which do not compare to those on the website or videos. I did request a $1,000. off the cost of the job and as an honorable customer, paid for the services rendered. I have been in contact with Jamison's account. After noticing additional unacceptable workmanship and receiving excuses for the work completed, I requested a full refund in order to hire another company to complete the job properly. The last response I received was to call another Project Manager if the system worked improperly.

Jamison just completed a replacement of the stucco on my chimney, which was cracked and leaking. We are fortunate to live in a historic and architecturally unique house, so I was very particular throughout the process. When I was looking for contractors, Jamison was very responsive. Their estimator Denny was prompt and thorough. The masons Justin and Dom were highly skiiled and efficient, and very careful to not damage or dirty the house or the premises. Their work was excellent and complemented the aesthetic of the house. I am very satisfied.

I have contractors doing work for me for many different projects. John and Jackie were two of the most professional and exceptional “artists” I have used. I would highly recommend them for any of your needs when repairing or building brickwork … they are excellent!!

We had our stucco fixed where it was cracking and then painted, and we couldn’t be happier with the service or the end result. Our crew, Mike and Kevin, went above and beyond for us. I had moved my smoker out of the way and I found when they left it was put back in place for me. They even offered to put our weed whacker together for us - clearly not in the job description. They were so nice, and the house looks great. Would definitely recommend Jamison for your next project.

Jamison services installed an interior perimeter drainage system in my basement. The system drains all water to the corner where they installed a sump pit and pump. The sump pump than discharges water out a 1.5” pvc pipe and is supposed to be diverted away from my house. The installation crew however took a shortcut when they installed the discharge line and hooked it into an old sump pump line that was tied into my gutters and downspouts. I was told the new system would be completely independent and a NEW” discharge line would be ran from the sump pump 20’ away to the low side of my yard. We had severe storms this past week and my newly finished basement took on 4” of water and it was solely related to the discharge line being tied into the downspouts that were clogged. Once I went outside in the thunderstorm and cut away the old discharge line to alleviate pressure the basement drained. Jamison came out immediately and ran a new discharge line which is how the system should have been installed from the start. I spoke to the service supervisor and after explaining to them my situation and that my Basement flooded because they took a shortcut he continued to tell me they cannot refund me for any damage. The system they installed was $8,000. I ripped out the floors and damaged drywall and will be installing the new floors myself. I asked them to cover the materials only that were damaged and they continued to tell me there is nothing they can do. Bottom line is if they had installed it correctly from the start my basement never would have flooded. The company is supposed to be a big reputable company and they are a disgrace. Don’t even think about using this company.

Had a great experience with Jamison to install a sump pump in our basement. Everyone we interacted with was extremely professional, making it a really smooth experience from start to finish. Darien and Giovanni made the installation experience so easy and we are really happy with the end result. Highly recommend Jamison!

Jamison Home Services was our first call for masonry work, and we are so happy we didn’t need a second or third! From Mario’s first visit to our home, to John Sr. and John Jr. showcasing their craftsmanship and expertise, we had an incredible experience! The retaining wall is beautiful and just how we envisioned, and the work done on the repair of flagstone steps as well as removal and recreating our entryway concrete steps was amazing. We also appreciated being accommodated while residing in the house during much of the work, keeping the workspace neat and clean and hazard-free. Thank you for such a great (and reasonably priced!) job in beautifying our home!
