My wife and I needed a new furnace and we are so pleased with the service we received from Ventec Refrigeration. The estimate was very fair, the service people were very courteous and nice, and they left the work area very clean. The new furnace was installed in a very timely manner and we would not hesitate to recommend Ventec to anyone.

Always Come Through For Us Every Time… Keeps Our Ice Machine Clean And Working Perfectly ‼️

Ventec installed a single zone Daikin HVAC unit in my garage last April (2024). When I tried the heater, several weeks ago, I couldn’t get it to blow warm air. Called this installer and their tech came out twice but still no heat. I called another HVAC vendor, they came out and followed Daikin’s suggested remedy. Heater works now. I notified this installer of the outcome, and no response.

Honest, kind, punctual, fair- all things you get when dealing with Ventec. We had a new ac unit installed and from the first tech out to our place nothing but professional and friendly. Thanks to your whole team for doing an A+ job. We've never been so cold!

Owen, Austin and the entire operation were wonderful to us on July 4th when we needed a fast repair. Excellent, timely, professional service with extreme attentiveness. They are our new HVAC company moving forward. Thanks to them for their impressive hard work.

We have had a wonderful experience with Ventec. They have fixed one of air conditioners, and completely upgraded and rebuilt our walk-in refrigerator. In addition, they had a temporary unit for us to use within an hour an half from the time we called. Their prices are fair and their people are professional. We will continue to use them for all of our refrigeration/HVAC needs.

What is on every profile
Evaluating local service providers requires looking at detailed profiles that show a business’s experience, certifications, and reviews from previous clients. You should pay attention to the quality of their work, any specializations they might have, and the types of services they offer in Penn Hills Township and nearby areas like Monroeville, Turtle Creek, or East Pittsburgh.
Understanding that these providers also serve neighboring cities can be helpful when narrowing down your choices. This means you might find a single professional who covers a broader area, potentially making it easier to handle multiple home maintenance tasks without having to search for different specialists in different locations.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing providers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, active, and matches the category it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and inactive listings are hidden automatically.
-
How do I choose the right contractor?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then compare the services offered, location, and response time. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes — not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update your services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the HVAC directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
How often should I have my air system serviced?
At minimum, once a year — ideally a spring tune-up before cooling season and a fall check-up before heating season. Systems that run year-round, older units, and commercial systems often benefit from professional service twice a year.
-
Repair or replacement — how do I decide?
Ask each contractor for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if a repair costs more than a third of a new system, or your equipment is past its expected lifespan and breaking down repeatedly, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Can companies on GigoPro handle emergencies?
Yes — many list emergency and same-day service in their profiles, with stated after-hours policies. Open the profile and check the response-time and availability information before you need it; in a real emergency, filter for companies that explicitly offer 24/7 service.
-
How much does service cost?
Costs vary by region, system type, and job — there is no honest single number. Reputable contractors provide written estimates after inspecting the system, and comparing two or three is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the company and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs are exactly what helps the next homeowners in your city choose well — and what keeps listed professionals at their best.
