George is such a great guy. Very professional and knowledgeable. Rate very reasonable compare to the amazing job he does. He is always my go-to guy.

George has fixed my water heater and heating unit, is professional and efficient. I rely on him to keep my home comfortable.

Would definitely recommend I had an issue with a leaking pipe and my heater they came right out diagnosed and fixed the problem. No hassle. Good knowledgeable people are hard to come by this is my new go to contractor.

George is not only a HVAC guy but also can do many other things ! I used him several times already from a small repair all the way to installation a new unit and plan to use him continuously.

We had a water leak behind the wall in my livingroom. George came out to inspect the area. After a few days, I received an estimate and we were able to agree on a date for demolition. I am very, very pleased with GJL's work that was performed, professional expertise, knowledge and his staff. I am creating a list for other projects for GJL.

George is entirely incapable of communication. It has been just shy of 2 months since we paid him. He has come to our house one time and left one guy here to do work, then disappeared for multiple weeks. Calls and texts are ignored until just near the breaking point; then he responds with "my bad man, I'll be there tomorrow." Tomorrow never comes.

George has taken our money and run with it. If he were even slightly capable of communicating any problems, permit issues, or timing conflicts this review wouldn't be necessary. We aren't asking the world, but it seems like an unbelievable task to George.

There is another review on here with an eerily similar story to ours. It seems that George has a bit of a track record with this type of behavior.

Contacted George to fix an hvac job I had done recently. Very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Quick response time and prices are reasonable. Saved me a headache and definitely will be contacting GJL for more projects.

I reached out to GJL CONSTRUCTION from Angi 's list of companies that were listed to do the job I needed, replacement of fittings on a new oil tank. That were done incorrectly during the installation. After speaking with George several times, we set up an appointment date. On that date George and crew arrived and professionally corrected the issues in a timely matter and they didn't take short cuts. They did the job correctly and I have had several oil deliveries with Peace of mind . He wanted me to contact him if any problems occurred, none so far. I have recommended GJL CONSTRUC to several family and friends. And he didn't try to kill my wallet!!!!

George was very professional and provided a price far cheaper then other companies in the HVAC field. He was fast and had a new central Air blower installed quickly during a heatwave which I'm fairly sure had his company very busy yet him and his crew got the job done, Thank You very much for your service George

My husband and I had a great experience with George. We had a really bad leak in our bathroom. My husband called George and he was able to come out the same day and assess the issues. He immediately got to work the week of Labor Day and installed new flooring, new shower wall and a new shower head. He did an amazing job. Very thorough, knowledgeable, honest and professional. Hope to not have any other issues lol but will call him again if we do.

Great service for a great price! Have had my heater worked on three times by George and each time he has shown up very quickly and taken care of the problem on the first try. Last time he got my heater working 2 hours after I called. Strongly recommend for any HVAC service.

It was such a pleasure working with GJL Construction. My heater wouldn't come on Saturday and the first company I called said I needed a new heater. Lost I started searching on line and found GJL Construction. George came right out and diagnosed the problem ( a short in a wire) and had my heat up and running the same day for a fraction of the price I was quoted. It was a pleasure working with George. His service was impeccable and I'm appreciative of his response and timing. I called his company for an estimate to have my water heater replaced...he gave me a great price in comparison to a previous call and we set up a time for installation. To my surprise and delight he called a day earlier with time to manage my job and I had hot water before the evening was over. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them for my central air installation. Home repairs are stressful but not with companies like GJL Construction.

George was so professional and very knowledgeable . I had a furnace replaced. It was installed in a timely manner.. The price was reasonable. I would recommend his service to anyone.

My heat went out I called George and he was there for me. The people at home serve sent people out to my house and they told me lies. The things they told me George said was not true it was nothing wrong with my heater. If you need anything done please call George he's the best.

Great experience with George! I hired him to install a split system in one of the units of my rental property. George charged a very reasonable price and delivered services as promised in a timely manner. During work, I even had a mind change of where to hang the indoor units, and George reinstalled the units in a more desired location without any extra charges. We hired GJL Construction and paid half the contracted costs.I had to fire George Lawrence owner because of the poor workmanship. He would show up once a week between 2.0 and 3.75 hours. All of the work completed except one roughed in wall needs to be re-done. Includes two windows, Window Capping and refrigerant lines for a split heating and AC unit. I have hired other contractors to repair and complete the scope of the original contract. I asked the owner George Lawrence to come to an agreement and refund money that was not spent. He said he would not because I fired him. This is a BAD CONTRACTOR DO NOT HIRE.

George I read your response and the last time we spoke you told me that you would send the itemized list to me for the money spent. We would come to an agreement on the refund. I guess that was another one of your GEORGEISM.

I used the term FIRE because you told me I fired you, I terminated the contract because of your poor work ethic and bad work.

The one roughed in wall I thought was ok also needed to be repaired. Nothing you did could be used. See pictiure below of the wall your built.

When you showed up three hours late and then started with your nonsense. She told you, that if she worked like you, her boss would have fired me by now.

You started with your nonsense and she told you straight on. You came back and told my wife that you were wrong and she was right 300 percent. Your own workers apologized and asked if she was ok.

Update on the room, we hired another contractor and the room is finished. They worked from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM everyday.
The room looks terrific,

I will share with you the written remarks from the other contractors hired in court, You will loose, I may even get more money back.

I am shocked to see 4.5 stars forGJL Construction. As stated prior and George called me a few months ago and said he would return a portion of our payment which I have never scene. I would not let him cut my lawn.

GJL Construction , George was very professional. He came to fix heater, arrived on time and ever got here early!! He was able to assess problem. He then went to his truck and got materials needed to replace boiler pump and pilot!! The work was done in less then a hour and it was on a Saturday morning and I am located in Montgomery County! Great job!!! Give him a call!!! 📞

After job was finished test, the problem, make sure nothing was default. Call me a hour after to check.Was any problems?Everything was fine.I will recommend anyone to have electric problem.Go to this company. Good Work!!
