I contacted GreekTek with a laundry list of potential projects. Just a couple of days later John came onsite and was extremely helpful in presenting the potential solutions for each project. For each, he clearly communicated what the costs would be and cheaper alternatives we could explore.

Ultimately got outlets moved and recessed lights installed that same day, at a reasonable price. Will definitely use GreekTek again.

I can't say enough about GreekTek. They went above and beyond anything I have ever seen an electrical contractor willing to do. We were in a real pinch when our tenant was left without power due to damage of lines going into the house caused by tree branches. They were understanding and compassionate to our tenant who had two small children in the home. The damage to our wires could have set off a house fire. They went to 2 different supply houses to get the parts necessary to fix it. Much to our delight, they had us up an running in a few hours! The best description of GreekTek is professional, hard working, fast service and polite. This was not an easy job and they were so knowledgeable. They did a great job explaining the situation to us and communicating the progress. We were never left hanging. We would use them again without hesitation.

Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for a compassionate and communicative electrician who cares about their customers. I called GreekTek in a panic after PECO left me without power for more than 24 hours and kept flip-flopping on whether it was their problem or if I needed to call an electrician. George at GreekTek picked up my call on the first ring (despite being on another job) and, out of more than a dozen people I had talked to trying to get this resolved, was the ONLY one who expressed any kind of concern or seemed to care that I hadn't had power for more than 24 hours in the July heat. He offered to come out later in the afternoon despite having a full schedule and told me "I will not leave you stranded." PECO eventually showed up and fixed the problem, but it was George's reassurance that I wouldn't be stranded without power for another night and his timely and helpful communication that kept me sane in the meantime. I will absolutely be using GreekTek the next time I need any (non-emergency, I hope!) electrical work done and look forward to working with George then!

George and his team did a couple of jobs for me over the past month. Relocated a chandelier and replaced my electrical meter and outdoor wiring.
They were on time and responsive through the process. Very reasonably priced and cleaned up everything when finished. I would highly recommend for any job, large or small.

I had recently purchased a new single family home, following the closing, The electrical wiring in the house had began to degrade and about a month after closing the Breaker began tripping constantly, eventually, half of my house was without power.

I had 5 "Reputable" companies come out to my house and perform inspections and attempt to identify the root problem behind the loss of power and issues throughout my home!

Following these initial appointments, I was given 4 proposals, the last company was insistent that I decide on the spot for a 30% discount, if I let them put up a sign on my lawn...(This was contingent on my ability to decide, that same day!

First and foremost, there were major differences in each proposal, and the proposed plan of action to restore power. This was very unsettling, confusing, and overwhelming.

Nevertheless, I had opted to hire Greektek as my electrical contractor of choice. After I had a local contractor come and attempt to diagnose and correct the issues I was experiencing throughout my home.

The local electricians were very unprofessional and left trash everywhere and had cut holes in almost every wall in order to identify what was causing the problem with the power failed to restore power to my home. in addition to, no clear answer on what the solution to restore my electrical supply, provide a viable solutions moving forward, and more importantly, why the power loss had happened in the first place?

Finally, George and John were referred by a friend of the family and I had them come and do the same inspection as the others.

Long story short, I had ALL 4 companies come to my home and attempt to correct this issue. NONE WERE CAPABLE!

George was professional, friendly, knowledgable, and understanding throughout the process. I had explained the nightmare this project had been.

Ultimately, George identified the issue, and had my power restored the same day as our appointment.

Above all, George was very approachable and easy going, and result driven. He was disappointed in the work that the electricians prior to him, offered to rectify their mistakes as best he could and would perform a full Panel Upgrade at price that was less than half of some of his competitors and the work was performed in less than half the time required from the previous Electrical Contractors.

Fair Pricing, Honest Work, Knowledgeable, and very understanding. George was willing to help mitigate some of the extra work that had been created by the previous Electricians in their attempt to Diagnose and fix the outage. The Kicker is, he did these additional items out of the kindness of his heart because he said he could empathize with me and my situation, and that it's not uncommon from what he sees on a regular basis.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Having several small electrical projects we wanted completed before the holidays, I contacted several of the same old same electricians in the area. As expected, I got the same old same responses, over pricing and even ignored calls. I reached out to a company I never used before.... GreekTek - and the response was immediate! The quote was professional, fair in price and our repairs were completed quickly! George and John are a great team. I highly recommend them! They handled all of our electrical issues & were done in no time. They are neat, respectful and include you in the repair process so there aren't any miscommunications or surprises! I asked them for several business cards because we were so impressed and I am giving them to my neighbors. If you are tired of getting the same old same treatment try GreekTek and get treated better! It was easy to submit a request online and describe my situation on their website. Within just a few hours, George gave me a call and we had an appointment scheduled. From the start, George was personable, flexible, and helpful when discussing my needs. Likewise, when John came to my house to fix the problem, he too was very personable, confident, and efficient. He also shared what caused the issue and how he fixed it without complicating it too much and by also not over simplifying things either – Just the right balance of communication. Having some electrical issues at the house, so I turned to my neighborhood facebook page for Electrician recommendations. Greek Tek was highly recommended, so I gave them a call. George (owner) answered right away and said they could come out the following day. Kyle arrived and after diagnosing what was wrong, decided to take an extra step - he opened the electric panel and wanted to be sure everything was tightened properly. He ended up tightening almost everything, and in that process, uncovered a related issue to the initial reason for the service call. Kyle ended up correcting issues left by the original builder and got everything buttoned up and working again - now we are safe and confident the issues are all resolved. I highly recommend. Amazing service, friendly and genuinely cares for his clients. Had a different electric company come out and was taken advantage of and called him and he came right out and took care of us. Five star isn't high enough.

We were extremely please by George’s dedication to getting the job done, in a quality way, although more difficult than we expected. He worked quickly and came the next business day and cleaned up once the job was done. We will use him the next time we need an electrici!

Very responsive and had a detailed phone call with me about a project and what it would entail. Will be using them for future projects.

We talked over the phone and text and made an appointment, he never showed. I rescheduled with him, no showed again. I really wanted to get the work done so gave him the benefit of the doubt and he agreed to come by and do the work, but no showed yet AGAIN. Unprofessional and a huge waste of time.

George was awesome to deal with! He was easy to get a hold of & kept in contact with me before the job - very hard to come by. George & his partner came in to install my dishwasher & install a new stove (which needed an outlet receptacle installed). They were super friendly & professional, they did quality work & were done within an hour - I thought the project would take hours! I always thought getting an electrician in would be so expensive, so I never hired one before. WRONG-the price was incredibly reasonable to a point of shock, actually, lol & they did a fabulous job. I will absolutely be hiring Greektek back out in the future to handle any & all electrical work I need done. No job is too big or too small for this amazing, hard working team! GreekTek, both George and John were incredibly transparent and easy to work with. Arrived on time, educated me about what my options were for my needs and successfully completed installing my ring cameras. I hired GreekTek to install a 240v outlet in my kitchen. They could get in immediately and did cheaper than what other companies were asking. In addition, the electricians (shout-out to Kyle) were super friendly and excellent to work with. Highly recommend this company.

I recently needed some electrical work done, and not knowing who to use, I asked a couple of contractors I do business with. They each recommended GreekTek. I gave them a call, texted them a couple of pictures that showed the scope of the project, and was assured they could take care of it. The GreekTek team came out the next day, and showed up on schedule. They were very personable and down-to-earth. They took time to explain my options and told me what they recommended.
