He presented us with two potential solutions: a costly control board replacement or the installation of a secondary relay, which was more affordable. Given that our furnace was 24 years old and likely to need replacing soon, Jeff advised us to opt for the less expensive repair. By 9 a.m., he had completed the job. I was truly taken aback by his straightforwardness, integrity, and resourcefulness. This was our initial encounter with this furnace repair company since our usual repairman retired. We'll definitely be calling on them again for our future needs in Philadelphia.

I've had Norman, Malik, and Jeff from a local AC repair service come to my Philadelphia home three times for maintenance on my outdated gas furnace. They've also replaced a thermostat that suddenly stopped working and another time when I noticed a dreadful odor early in the morning. I have a service agreement for yearly upkeep and emergency calls, and I was never billed more than the contract stipulated. I strongly endorse this AC repair service! i have been working with cabrera & sons heating & air conditioning since 2018. their first visit to my home was on a super hot day right before a party when the air conditioning stopped working. they arrived quickly and fixed the issue before anyone showed up. since then, they have come twice a year to check my units and just recently to service my furnace. they have a fantastic communication system that keeps you updated when they are on their way. the team is always clean, very careful, and they explain all your options thoroughly. during the last visit, i mentioned that maybe we should think about replacing the furnace. diego informed me that we still had plenty of good years left with the furnace and that we just needed to replace a couple of parts. i really trust these guys! we've had two other companies for our yearly inspections, and every year they tried to replace things that were often quite pricey. i never felt they were reliable, but cabrera & sons earned my trust from the very first time they came out.

I've engaged their services three times now and have been consistently satisfied. Their pricing is reasonable, and I've found them to be reliable. In addition to this, I had them re-pipe my home boiler system that was having several issues and leaking water in my crawl space. Since their repairs, the boiler has been functioning flawlessly. Amazing company! I can't express how great this experience was. From the initial estimate to the installation of two Trane heat pump systems with new line sets and smart thermostats, everything was fantastic. One unit was installed in a crawl space. The pricing was the best I found among all the quotes I received. The quality of the installation was top-notch, far exceeding any previous experiences I've had. Jeff was exceptional to work with and went above and beyond to include the installation of two requested easy trap systems and a supply duct. Our heater broke down during a major cold spell in Philadelphia, and it was after 5 when we noticed the issue. The weather forecast was predicting a chill in the 20s that night! To my surprise, Malik answered the call, and informed me he could be there the very same night! They operate until midnight, 7 days a week, without any additional charges for 'after hours' service! I was genuinely amazed -- this is exactly the kind of customer service all companies should provide, but this was my first encounter with a repair company delivering such a service. When Malik arrived, he immediately identified the issue, had all the necessary parts on hand to fix it right away, and even kindly offered to inspect our other heaters to ensure they were operating correctly. Malik is a fantastic plumber. When the main drain from my house in Philadelphia broke, he came out right away and replaced it all in just one day. He also used his excavator to remove some tree stumps and dug a drainage ditch I needed. Malik did a lot of extra plumbing work for me, and the price was very fair—not expensive at all. I feel so much safer now that he cut off the gas to the furnace until the necessary parts can be replaced. I've always received excellent service, and I truly appreciate Jeff's assistance! Another technician, Diego, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable during his visit. He worked diligently and made sure everything was in top shape with my plumbing and fixtures. I know I can count on him for any future issues. I also want to mention how pleased I was with the tune-up of my furnace and air conditioner. It turned out our outside faucet for the garden hose was leaking. They fixed it in about 15 minutes.
