Awesome estimate. Very professional. I called and they came out to give an estimate the same day. When I called to schedule a liner install they had appointments available within a few days. They came on time, cleaned up, and were very friendly and professional.

Did a good job with the actual chimney sweeping service, however the man who performed the service must have been leaning on my chimney screen while he was as cleaning it because afterward it was bent and then broke from the hinges. Called them and he came back to “fix it” which was hit just getting it to sit in there without falling, screen door still broken. My husband can’t find the parts needed to fix it and to buy a new door is $250. They also tend to come later than the appointment window.

Anthony is amazing. Called him because I didn’t trust my contractor to do my chimney work and Anthony was amazing. He explained everything I needed and was very courteous. I wish more contractors were this helpful and courteous. Thanks a lot bud!

The tech that came out , was trying to sell me a $700 service that wasn’t necessary. Which appeared to be deceptive. He quoted me a price of $700 without even going outside or look in the fireplace to see if the current cap was functional (which it was). The next morning i called customer service and they were of no help and justify the service. I would not recommend them to anybody for ANYTHING!!!

Excellent customer service. Chris came out and gave me an estimate and explained the repairs to be done. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Work is scheduled to be done. Will give an update after it is finished.

Showed up at my house without actually having scheduled time to come to me. I had an emergency chimney impactment, but no one was willing to come out after 4pm to help my husband and me. So, we never agreed to a time or made arrangements for the company to come out and work with us. The sweeps pulled up the next morning at 9:45AM as I was leaving for a doctor’s appointment and I couldn’t stay to figure out the miscommunication. A chimney sweep from another company came out at 9pm the night before to get our chimney clear so we could at least get our heater up and running again. I was super disappointed by the whole interaction considering I was connected with them through Angie’s list.

Most clients don't know the details of having their chimney repaired properly. I am a HVAC contractor 30 plus yrs. exp. I hired A&A because my regular guy was booked. A & A prices were higher. in-which I had no problem paying. A& A used old existing materials for repair they taped the flue pipe instead of using screws to secure pipe ( that is a code violation clearly stated in fuel gas code book) They left sharps and debris in basement- filled clients bucket with trash did not send me job completion pics yet . The job just has an overall sloppy appearance. It is 4 am New Years Day Am I writing a review this must tell you something. Anthony the manager stated that he's going to send his crew back on the 9th today is the first.They need to go back ASAP and make corrections. I paid in full promptly he should honor his work promptly. One star due to prompt response. I regret calling him tomorrow but I have no choice DJ

I can't speak highly enough about our experience with A&A. We bought a house recently and knew that the flue would need to, at least, be relined due to water intruding into the house through the hot water heater exhaust. Josh and Kasime came out to give us an estimate for relining and we agreed on the price, putting down a deposit on the job. When they came to do the work, they discovered it was going to be a different, more involved process (removal of asbestos Transite pipe) that required more parts and labor. Instead of passing it on to us, they said they would do the extra work with no charge because it wasn't caught in the initial walkthrough. For me, that is amazing customer service and will forever make me their customer. When Josh and Kasime came to do the flue removal, they were super friendly and got the work done with little disruption to our day. Now we have a brand new b-vent and they also cleaned up the messy work that the previous owners had done to the exhaust connections in the basement. Definitely give them a call if you need chimney work done!

The team from A&A that came to our home was professional, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. They did a wonderful job cleaning and repairing our fireplace and were able to answer all of my questions. I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs assistance of any kind with their fireplace or chimney.

Good prices and clean quality work. Both workers were very friendly and courteous, making sure no mess was left and answered all questions we had. I highly recommend this company....now about 4 or 5 years later, I will NEVER use again. Complete opposite experience then before. Must be different owners or new management

Best price around Nd I work for 2 different chimney companies Nd I have to say A&A was the best choice.... best part about it was the Technicians they explain everything to me( Which I already knew, cause I was a Chimney technician) so I acted like I didn’t know a thing Nd they explain more then I asked!! Great Job, Great people, Great Managers, Great Company!!!! Will be calling them back for yearly sweeps, Nd Further work

A& A are excellent. They repaired my chimney and fireplace. I had to have plumbing work done in my home. I wasn't sure about the liner they installed to provide the plumber with the information. I called and they sent the installer right away to my home without hesitation and he talked to my plumber.
They do very neat work and clean up.
I would recommend A&A Chimney Co.

Kasime came out today to assess damage from an enormous plant growing from my chimney. He also did a thorough inspection of my chimney and provided excellent advice. He was knowledgable, respectful, and very professional! 10/10 recommend him and this company.

These guys were honest, professional, and courteous. They did a great job replacing my chimney liner and cap, I highly recommend!

When they gave the estimate they advised me that due to the size of my appliances and existing chimney they would need to remove the terracotta liner and install an 8-in pipe. They also warned me that some businesses might try to avoid the terracotta removal by installing a smaller pipe, but that would not allow for proper exhausting and would damage my appliances. I had two other quotes and just as they said: one company quoted me the same price as their service WITHOUT removing the terracotta, and the other company told me EXACTLY what they said about removing the terracotta but gave me a higher quote. I'm very happy we went with A&A.

Following up from my previous dissatisfaction post, the manager Anthony after explaining what happened, he fully remedied the situation. That speaks volumes to me and my commitment and recommendations to conduct further business with the company. He did keep constant contact and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I thank you for the customer service.

A&A did an excellent job installing a liner and caps on my chimney. When of the caps was blown off by a severe storm, they came out and re-installed it without charge. Excellent service. Very satisfied.

Had a small misunderstanding regarding services rendered. Owner reached out and took responsibility and made the situation right. Which is how stand-up businesses operate. He threw in a free chimney cleaning as well. Unfortunately, they don't make too many companies like this anymore.

My experience with A & A Chimney Sweep was excellent. They explained everything that was going on with my chimney and why it had happened they took pictures and videos which I appreciate because you never know who you can trust I've heard the horror stories. His whole team were very professional they came into my home and introduced themselves and everyone that came in let me know what each of them would be doing. The job was done and left my home as clean as it was before they got there. I would 100% recommend them. Ps it was freezing that day and not once did I hear a complaint. Thank you A&A

We needed a new liner put in and the old one removed. We got a very fair price. They were incredibly professional, they explained everything in detail, took photos of everything, and made sure we understood exactly what was happening. They did the work quickly and very well, and did a great clean up job. On top of everything else, the people were really nice. I would definitely recommend this company.

Best experience with any sort of contractor since moving to Philadelphia. Did the job for a fraction of the price other places had quoted me, quickly, and with a high quality external finish. Professional and friendly as well. Could not recommend more.
