Great with communication, quality, and price. Weather delayed my project, but John adjusted around it above and beyond what I expected

Very responsive, stayed in touch, provided timely updates with photos and thorough explanations, plus a reasonable price, very hardworking crew, and our new roof looks terrific! I wish I had known they existed before and do more than roofing. I’d hire them again, no question.

Powerhouse removed an inside wall and window and redid our roof. This company is very professional, easy to keep in contact with, affordable and they do beautiful work. I would highly recommend this company for your contractor needs!

John and his team did a fantastic job replacing a large and complex roof and adding gutters onto my property in ross township. His quote was reasonable, he explained everything I had questions about, and cleaned up the jobsite thoroughly.

Our eaves were in rough shape and we were getting water in from clogged gutters.

Power Home Improvements replaced our gutters, put in gutter guards, and wrapped our eaves. We sprung for new shutters while we were at it.

Now things are nice and dry and look great! They were quick both in responses and service, I would recommend them to everyone.

The Powerhouse crew did an excellent job clearing my roof of ice. John, project Mgr, did a great job explaining everything and providing pictures of what was taking place on my roof and explaining what was causing the interior water damage. I would definitely recommend them.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism of John and his team . They had two roofs to do (house and garage) and they were done in two days. I’ve never seen such hard workers. They left my yard cleaner than when they started. Thet were kind, courteous and professional. Definitely recommend. I heard horror stories about OTHER roofing companies from my friends. Their yards were left a mess, time that it took, unprofessional , etc. You will not have this problem with this company very reasonable in rates as well. Quality. Cost and professionalism

Powerhouse is extraordinary. They replaced two of my neighbors' roofs and gave me a great quote so they replaced mine as well. Then I hired them to do work in the basement including some minor demo, sheetrocking, installing new lights and windows. Everyone associated with the company from the owners to each of the workers are wonderful: they are highly professional, perform quality work, are very responsive to your needs, and each person goes above and beyond. They are great individuals to have working in your home.

The team at Powerhouse was amazing. I was having some serious weather related issues with a roof that is very high up. Within 24hrs my problem was solved. They did what they said they would, when they said they would. John was accessible and transparent, sending me updates of the work as it progressed throughout the day. Jorge & his crew were awesome! very friendly and professional, in the beginning i was hesitant on getting my roof replaced, Jorge walked me through multiple options. better, best and good options, he was very honest and told me what he suggested and gave me very detailed explanations as to why he suggested them. Had to have snow removed from my roof due to water leaking into my home. Called John this morning and it was completed by the end the day. And the cost was very reasonable. Powerhouse Home Improvement was an amazing company to work with. It can be difficult to find trustworthy people for this type of work, but Powerhouse is as trustworthy as they come. They were professional, timely, and provided excellent quality work. After getting an insane quote for a new roof from another company I was so glad to work with Powerhouse. They also replaced our shutters and our house looks like new! They didn't try to sell us or convince us on extra unnecessary work. They were transparent through the entire process. Would absolutely recommend.

I needed to have a lot of work done to our roof and facia and John and his team were great. They took their time to go over exactly what we were looking for and priced it fairly. The work was completed timely and I was kept updated as the work was done. The crew cleaned up every evening and arrived on time every morning. I would highly recommend.

I had a VERY positive experience with Powerhouse Home Improvements! A couple weeks ago, we were affected by the ice damming situation that many people in our area were also experiencing due to the weather.
I had water leaking into a bedroom from this ice damming. I don’t know what to do, so I called my homeowners insurance company who gave me the name of a company that could dry out the room, but they did not do the work on the roof to get rid of the ice and snow, which was needed to stop the water from leaking.
I was so lucky to receive Powerhouse home Improvements name and phone number.
They came out the very next day cleared all of the ice and snow off of our roof took pictures before during and after and sent them all to me.
They also cleaned on the ground level around the house of the ice and snow that came from the roof. The leak immediately stopped.
These guys were very professional very very knowledgeable and very reasonable.
I will be using them again in the very near future to make some changes to our roof so that this never happens again

Just disappears. Poor communication

Just as another person wrote, he stopped communicating and disappeared. His team damaged items, lost some, and has not replaced them. Very disappointing as initially I thought John was a man of integrity. I had to report John Weiland to BBB as he owes me money and did not finish work. He failed to respond. I would not recommend that anyone every use him.
