This group of guys were no joke, and the work they did was great. Came in worked all day and made our trees look better than ever. We had 3 trees that didn’t get any care for a while and they came in and cleaned them up. The way they look now is remarkable. He came in for a quote and he knew everything about these trees and knew exactly what he needed to do. I’d take these guys doing tree work over anyone else and will call them if we ever need them again. Our neighbor even thanked up for getting the trees cleaned up and stated how great it looks

Nick and his crew were very professional and knowledgable. We hired M&S Tree Care to remove some old Bradford Pears along our driveway. They worked quickly and methodically to remove the trees and all of the debris. We really like the way it turned out.

M & S Tree Care is the company to select if you are looking to remove trees or grind stumps in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Nick and crew provided a very competitive quote for service and were on site to do the job in less than a week. The whole operation took 2 hours and they revitalized my backyard. These trees were big and you'd never know they were there after the job. I can't stop looking out my back window to marvel at the job this company did. Give them a call!

M&S Tree Care was taking down a tree in my neighbor's yard today. Without any notice or asking permission, the crew dropped large branches of the tree into my yard not even five feet from my house and dragged the branches through my yard. And while they did clean up the branches they also damaged the ground cover in the area they dropped the branches.

In response to the the owner's original response (see the screen shot below since he has already changed it) -

1. The tree was not in my yard as you can clearly see in the on picture - it is on the other side of the fence.
2. I did try to reach you while your crew was onsite but no one answered.
3. You are required to obtain permission before trespassing on my property or deciding to use part of it to drop a tree.

M and S tree care was very fast and professional. Nick gave us a great estimate and had our service completed quickly and efficiently. Will definitely use for any other tree service needed in the future and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy tree service.

I met Nick by accident when he stopped to help me jump start my car on a busy road. When I saw on his truck that he had a tree care service, I asked him to give me a quote on a tree I been wanting to remove. I know this wasn't a big job for him but he was willing to do it. The job was completed in less than an hour and he even planted a replacement tree for me. Nick and Pat left my yard neat and clean -- only minus that big, ugly, overgrown tree! If you need your tree trimmed or removed, Nick's your guy. I'm truly glad I met him and highly recommend this business.

I had an overgrown evergreen tree hanging over the roof & weighing on the gutter. I was so excited & pleased when I came home looked a thousand times better, big difference can't even tell that the oversized tree was there. Wasn’t sure with it being so close to the front of home, but they did a great job. Completed as promised, easily explained options, and great response time. Curb appeal literally transformed!

I had 2 very large trees need trimmed in our back yard. The one was an oak with a lot of dead limbs. Called M&S and got an estimate as well as proof of insurance in the same day! Nick was very informative on care needed for our trees. Him and his team came out at the agreed time. They cleaned up the dead branches from our oak and pruned our maple away from the house. They even cut logs from big branches for us to use in our fire pit. I will be recommending them to my friends and family for sure.

These guys are amazing. I called Nick the owner in a panic yesterday evening- I noticed my HUGE backyard pine tree was leaning toward the house. The crazy storm this week had pushed it, and you could see where the ground was starting to rise on one side of it. If this thing had fallen, it probably would have majorly damaged my house + the neighbor’s.

Even though they were swamped, they made time for me and came. It was in a tight spot but they had no problem getting it out of there. I cannot thank them enough! And the pricing was very fair. Will always recommend them in the future!

Top notch from start to finish, I can't recommend them enough. They came and gave an immediate quote that was very reasonable. They came and trimmed back/ shaped several trees in my yard and did a very thorough quick job and left the yard in better condition than when they got here. They also checked with me to make sure I was happy with the work before they left. I will definitely be using them again for any future work at my house. If you're looking for any sort of tree work in Pittsburgh, then you should definitely use M+S!

M and S Tree Care was referred to us by a relative. My dad had a branch cracked on a huge tree in his yard. Nick and his team did an awesome job ! Not only did they take care of that branch, they also took care of any other rotting branches and heavy bows weighing down branches that they knew needed addressed !They were so professional and efficient. I would highly recommend them !

Nick was easy to communicate with, prompt, prices were fair, and in general did a great job. His guys were respectful and cleaned up the job site. Definitely would recommend.

M and S Tree Care did an outstanding job trimming branches from our neighbor's tree without needing to access their property. In addition, they removed two trees and five shrubs from our front yard and ground the stumps. They also trimmed the apple tree in our front yard. M and S was quick, reliable, thorough and they did an excellent job of cleaning up after their work. The cost to do all of this work was very reasonable. They have excellent insurance coverage and we would recommend them to everyone.

Nick and the guys were awesome!!! Great crew that works like a well oiled machine. We had numerous large trees in our yard that needed trimmed and 3 that needed removed completely. These guys came in and knocked it out in about 4 hours. They were all very communicative and kept me involved in the process, asking where and how I wanted things cut, very nice. All the guys were very polite and nice to talk to and they all did an amazing job. Truly transformed my entire yard. The best part of the entire thing was that they give us an old climbing line and tied it off on of the tree limbs for my kids to have a rope swing in the yard. Couldn't be happier. I've already talked to Nick about future tree projects which we will be doing in the fall. Highly recommend these guys, you wont be disappointed.

UPDATE: Nick and the guys have now been to our house 3 times since this last review. Twice for removal and trimming and once for an emergency removal after a storm. I am 1000% satisfied every single time. This last time they dropped several really really massive trees that were overhanging power lines and made it look easy. The crew is great and these guys really know what they are doing. If you need any type of tree work done, call M&S. Best value of any home project I have done.

Nik and his crew were extremely efficient from receiving the quote to removing trees from the recent bad storm. Everything was completed as stated. You couldn’t even tell they were there. A++ service and I would recommend any day of the week. Pictures are before and after.
