Tall Timber Tree Experts came recommended to us by a landscaper that we are working with. Jim came out and gave us a quote for pruning our Norway Maple and installing some cabling between limbs. They came in the middle of the pack on the estimate. The crew was very professional and friendly. They made quick work of the job and did a great job cleaning up. Will definitely use these guys again for tree needs.

I am a repeat customer of theirs. Their prices are reasonable compared to other tree companies. I priced them against 5 other
companies and TTTE beats them all so far. They are fast, efficient and clean the work area pretty well after the job is done.

Did a really awesome job on our property. Removed 2 large trees. Fine pruned 8 trees and medium pruned 4-5 additional trees. Arrived on time and completed the work including a first rate cleanup in one day. The crew was professional and the equipment was first rate. I highly recommend Tall Timber.

Extremely impressed with their work. They brought lots of capable equipment and a great crew and took out a large pine and small Maple in just a few hours. Stumps and roots are completely gone, and the finished grade was close to perfect, which I was not expecting based on previous work I’ve had done by another company. Highly recommend.

We just had Tall Timber remove a dying silver maple from our front yard. Every step of the process went well. Jim came within a day or two of my call to give an estimate. The estimate was in the middle range of those we'd gotten. He worked around their schedule and our Christmas vacation schedule and got us in right at the new year. The crew did an excellent job. The bucket trucks with cranes that they used were effective in getting around the wires beneath the tree. Clean up was perfect, nothing left behind. I'd wanted some stump left in for a garden feature and the crew leveled it carefully. Tall Timber gets our full recommendation.

Highly recommend!! They are very skilled, professional & experienced with the best competitive rates. We had a huge dead tree that was over our garage & house. I got 7 different tree company quotes to cut it down & half of them actually turned the job down due to the risk & skill level required to do it. Based on all this & the great work they did today, I will definitely hire them again if we ever have any other tree issues.

These guys are serious pros. They have all the equipment they need, no outsourcing. Very personable, they explained a somewhat complex job very simply and were able to do it in a quarter of the time that most other estimates gave.

Most of the other guys showed up without notice, looked for a few minutes and left. Then they send an impersonal quote with no explanation. Jim was punctual and let me know when he'd arrive and took a few minutes to explain the job to me, knowing I was nervous about a couple of trees looming over my house.

The quote was reasonable, not the cheapest, but I felt the best about them and for good reason.

On the day of the job, the whole team was very nice and even put up with a little scope creep by me. Thanks guys!

Second Job with Jim and his team! They were outstanding! On time, reasonable price, professional and very, very knowledgeable! They trimmed a large oak tree for me and I was thrilled with the experience.

During the most recent windstorm a large pine tree fell onto our property and also damaged our corkscrew tree. We also had about 12 juniper stumps along the sides of our house from previous removals that needed attention.
Luke came out and did a phenomenal job removing the pine and carefully salvaging our corkscrew tree. He also gave great advice on handling the juniper stumps and made the area look like nothing had ever been there.
He left the entire yard and work areas spotless, removing all brush and debris. Communication was excellent throughout and his professionalism and pride in his work really stood out—all at a very fair price. We will definitely be asking him to come back to prune a pin oak on our property next season.

Luke and his crew did a great job removing three maple trees in our backyard. The estimate was very fair and he was very thorough in explaining the scope of work. They had the three trees cut and removed in little over a day - his wood chipper broke before arriving which slowed down the removal process a little bit. Luke also did a great job cleaning up despite the snowy conditions on the ground. Highly recommend Howell Tree Care!

Luke did wonderful work, from our initial consult to picking up the last fallen branch during his cleanup. I've planted, cared for, and pruned many smaller fruit trees and ornamentals over the years, so I had enough tree knowledge to realize as soon as my husband and I spoke with Luke that he really knew his stuff. We also knew we needed a professional, because we had three towering Bradford Pear trees at our newly-purchased house which had been allowed to grow wild (and far too tall!) for years on end.

There are plenty of businesses which will hack a tree down to size, with no particular thought to its immediate or long-term welfare. By contrast, Luke made each cut knowledgeably and judiciously, keeping in mind what the future growth of each tree would look like. He took great care not to disturb our neighbors' yards or plantings, even as he sent some big branches tumbling to the ground from 30 feet up in our compact city neighborhood. Luke's professionalism and obvious concern for the well-being of trees were evident throughout the process. Thank you, Luke!

These guys were great! I had a tree fall in a recent storm blocking my driveway and I couldn't get out. I called these guys, they were quick to respond and came right out! They removed the tree and cleaned everything up like it never even happened.
