Beware of Hughes Plumbing Heating! I paid them in full for expensive repairs they said would fix my air conditioner units; however, none of the air conditioners work after Hughes repairs.

I was very impressed with the responsiveness- even during a snowstorm. I think it was Kevin(?) who came out and he was professional and gave us good information. Will definitely use them again!

Great service!! Rob came out, assessed my poor broken *34* year old system during the worst mid-July heat wave since 1930. He had his crew out 2 days later, now we're breathing fresh cool air!! He knew my 87 year old Dad was struggling with the heat, so he took care of the issue. Fabulous work!! The crew was thoughtful and nice, I'd hire him and refer his company absolutely. Thanks Guys!!

We have worked with Hughes plumbing since 2006 (18 years) for our HVAC & plumbing needs because:
1. Staff is trustworthy and listens well, solves the problem and does NOT overwork things.
2. Estimates are competitive and fair and the work is done as promised.
3. Air conditioning: Installed ducts in a then 90+ year old Jenkintown house and kept the property PRISTINE during what could have been messy work. A/C has worked flawlessly since (though we do annual check ups).
4. We replaced the oil burner for a new gas heater and the old tank was removed using the correct environmentally friendly company.
5. Big jobs like above where always handled keeping Jenkintown Borough happy (not easy).
6. Replaced the sewer pipe and at the same time replaced the lead main water pipe with copper. This was a small ($800 ish) add on but the right call since the ground was open.
7. Replaced our hot water heater twice. (2006 and again in 2023)
8. Garbage disposal (new) was installed in 2006 and has worked flawlessly since (we do not put crazy things in it, no eggshells, no celery, etc.)
We have found this company to be pleasant, professional, and generally easy to work with. I recommend them without hesitation.

I recently had a new water dispenser installed by Hughes Plumbing, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. From the initial consultation to the completion of the installation, the process was seamless, professional, and exceeded my expectations.

I was extremely pleased with my interactions with Hughes Plumbing. I had a very old accordion gas line for my oven that developed a leak. They responded promptly, solved my issue and installed a dedicated shut off valve (at my request). They checked that my water heater pilot was back on as well. They installed a longer flex line in place of the damaged gas line which allows me to slide my oven out to clean. I was given options with defined costs as soon as the gas was turned off and before repairs. I highly recommend Hughes Plumbing Heating A/C.

I have used Hughes plumbing a couple times now for small repair jobs at my home in Glenside and they have been great. They are quick, reasonably priced, do a good job, and the techs have been very nice when interacting with me and my family. Thanks guys
