Our agent, Jose, was understanding and patient, explaining our options with propane services. He did a thorough check our our newly acquired gas system (in a very old house) and recommended appropriate actions to remediate a safe, reliable solution. He gave us options and solutions, which we truly appreciated. We will contact Petro with our plans in the future, as the kitchen redesign and remodeling project progresses.

Had four different techs here to a confusing problem with 21 year old heater and AC. I had to take the time to write a review as these guys were so awesome and informed me as they were figuring out the issues. They even waited for me the one day I was late for their appt! They tolerated my barking dogs kindly. Norm is “the man” as his coworkers said he took extra time to adjust and sort extra parts that were not directly the problem but needed some TLC. Very impressed!

We are a small commercial kitchen. We engaged Petro to install Propane supply to our kitchen. The technicians and the work was outstanding in terms of quality, speed, responsiveness to changing needs, professionalism and code compliance.

Switched fuel oil company to Petro. Had to call for service already for no heat. Came a bit earlier than scheduled. Courteous serviceman who diligently worked until issue was resolved

I was having a problem with the pressure relief valve on my oil burner, it was opening sporadically and releasing a small amount of water. I called Petro and within 2 hours a technician named Paul was at my door. Paul immediately saw what was causing the problem and corrected it. He replaced the faulty valve and replaced the expansion tank which he showed me was not operating at all. The work was done in an efficient and professional manner. When finished Paul cleaned the work area and gave me advice about the workings of my heater. The whole time Paul was at my house he was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Paul is a prime example of how a service technician should make a service call.

I have used Petro Home Services for the heating systems in my home and a rental property for the past two years. Their customer service is excellent--timely and friendly, and their service on our HVAC units has been top quality. I have service contracts with them for both locations. I buy my heating oil through the Philadelphia Energy Co-op and it is delivered by Petro. When I called recently about a no heat issue at the rental, they were there within two hours and fixed the problem immediately. After working with a number of different HVAC contractors through the years, I can say that Petro is by far the best.

In 14 consecutive years of dealing with Petro, i have always felt that i was treated as a very valued customer and experienced SUPERIOR customer service from every part of their organization. They talk to you like a human being and a member of their own community, whether you're taking to the local tech or customer service in New York. They have understanding payment arrangements, will negotiate a service agreement to your advantage, react quickly to emergencies, are prompt and thorough with annual service calls, and offer good advice. Their reps are well-versed in their industry and genuinely care about delivering their product in a way that benefits you in the long run. I commend Petro's customer service and hiring processes. Their system keeps detailed records on conversations and troubleshooting and has always anticipated oil deliveries accurately.

My heat was not working so they scheduled a service technician named Joe the same day (evening). Joe was professional and polite he fixed the problem, a part needed to be replaced and air forced out of radiators, which was covered under the service plan or warranty at no cost. In this day and age it's nice to experience great customer service from start to finish.

Great experience with Petro on the installation of our new air conditioning unit. From the evaluation on what system was best for my needs to keeping informed on when the parts were coming in, to being flexible with my actual appointment for the installation. Very professional and quick service, would recommend to anyone who asks.

We have used Petro for our oil furnace installation and maintenance in multiple homes know over 20 years. All their service technicians have been very skilled and professional. They've been there quickly when we've had the heat go out in the middle of the night during a snowstorm and increased the oil deliveries, without us having to ask, during the pandemic when we started working from home during the day and increased our usage a lot, so we've never run out of oil. Definitely recommend for all services and installation

Just switched to Petro and it’s the best move I made. Jose Pellecer (#433) was the most professional contractor I ever had! He explained everything needed as a result of my safety check and completed everything in a timely manner. He really went out of his way to make me happy and complete the job. I have had a few questions for customer service and they were extremely helpful and responsive. Wish I had made the switch years ago!

The Petro Home Services technician came very quickly after our service request. We received a call ahead that he was coming so we could sequester our pets and we could track his approach through the Petro web site. Once he arrived he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. We were very happy with the service call and highly recommend Petro. We've been customers for over 40 years and have always been happy with the service.

Service technician was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. This is a new home to our family and the tech was more then willing to explain the heating system and show us exactly how to use it. The tech also took great care not to damage anything while he worked, and replaced some parts that had been worn out. He also cleaned the entire unit of dust and debris, it looks brand new!!

I will also say that when we called to inquire about the services that Petro offered they were very knowledgeable and not trying to sell sell sell. I was able to take my time and compare without feeling pressured to make a decision.

Since we had used Petro several decades ago, we knew they would be our go-to for a replacement heater/ furnace for the house.

Everyone we have worked with during the process of ordering, installing and following up has been just superb.

The sales representative, Bruce, came to the house and did a careful measurement to insure he selected the right volume furnace for us. All of his calculations and decisions happened in front of me, and when we were finished looking at options I paid the deposit and knew this was the right way to go.

On the Installation day, the crew arrived slightly early and got right into it. Clearly the Crew Boss and his colleagues are together just about every day. It was like watching a NASCAR pit crew at work. Everyone had a task and even though the furnace was in a fairly small service room, the flow of skilled people in and out never stopped. The materials were laid out so precisely in the driveway, it was clear that no time or effort is wasted when they do their work.

They finished just when they said they would. Showed us the newly installed cut-off switch and departed. The next day I was called to arrange the required follow-up inspection of the furnace chimney.

Without question everyone who has been involved in our upgrade on the furnace has been helpful and professional.

I’d recommend Petro not only for this kind of intense Furnace work but for anything on their website. They have skilled experienced sales and technical personnel.

Petro has been our go to service company for over 20 years. Normally , they come out the day you call them with any problem. We just had a new Natural gas boiler installed for our baseboard heat , and everything went exactly as planned. 4 guys came in in the morning and were there a good part of the day . When they left the new furnace-boiler was running perfectly and they also preformed a 5 star clean up job of the area. Absolutely nothing to do afterwards, which is quite unusual. The plus was they gave me the best price of 3 quotes and then deducted another thousand for being a loyal customer.

I can not say enough good things about Petro. My boiler leaked all over my place on a Sat, of course . Tony the tech was at my house within 45 min of my call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and helped us come up with some quick safety solutions. He also placed the call to sales to see if they were available to come over. He was extremely professional, kind and eager to help. It was the coldest day of the year on record. Bruce made time to come over and gave us a quote for the new heater. He was also extremely helpful, professional and patient and helped us get all the necessary paperwork, info we needed. Within days my new heater was installed. There are many companies out there but when a company like PETRO goes above and beyond and makes you feel like they truly care, it just adds that extra level of quality service. Petro has been providing reliable and professional service for our home for years. Their techs always go out of their way to give our older systems the TLC they need and keep them running great. Customer service is always super friendly and accommodating, making me feel valued as a customer.

I bought my first oil heated home in 2021. I signed on for a 1 year budget plan to ensure timely delivery and lock in a price. It has all gone well. Recently, I found out that I needed a new oil tank. Although the cost was high, it was nowhere near the highest price I found out there, so I purchased the tank and installation from Petro. I'm on an 18 month, interest free payment plan that makes it really affordable. From the gentleman who came out to go over the job with me and take my order, to the company that installed the tank, the process could not have been easier. Every step of the way, I experienced friendly, professional, and thorough service. From my experience so far, I'm extremely pleased with Petro, and I plan to renew my contract with this company when my current contract expires.

Jacob was a knowledgeable, kind, and trustworthy service person. He came on time and was extremely helpful in helping me understand how my AC works. He was very professional and I would recommend asking for him if you need service. Petra Home Services is lucky to have him in their employ!

Jose Pellecer came to our house because we ran out of propane. He did a full safety check and fixed our setup which had not been set up correctly in the past. I was very impressed because he didn't cut any corners. He did everything that was needed to fix our setup including changing out some of the connections and moving the tank. He also gave us several gallons of propane to get us until the next day when the truck could fill us up. After he set us up outside he came in the house and checked all of our appliances that use propane to make sure they are okay.

Like I said I was very impressed with Jose. He's a very nice guy. He obviously knows what he's doing. And he does the work that is needed. I would recommend him to anybody. And whoever his boss is should give him a raise! :)

My husband and I are very satisfied with Petro. We recently had to replace an oil tank. The removal of the old one and the installation of the new one went very well. My husband was very pleased with the professionalism of the Petro workers.
