Reviews of local pros in Wallingford, Pennsylvania

Platinum has been doing my lawn care (Mowing/Fertilization) for a few years. I recently hired them to install a Flagstone pathway from my driveway to my front porch. They did a great job, the final results looks great. They addressed drainage issues with the design as well and were able to come up with a design that matches the aesthetics of my home.

Platinum Horticulture did a great job pruning and removing vines from my 50 year old hedges of azaleas and rhododendron. The Crew was hard working and polite. Connor, the Owner, is extremely knowledgeable and we developed a plan to maintaining the landscaping in the years to come. very pleased!

Connor and his team did a fantastic job with the hardscaping in our backyard. The space was completely transformed and is now a perfect spot to entertain guests. What really made this possible was his ability to provide a great financing option for the project.

Connor and the crew did a fantastic job for us in the backyard of our home in Swarthmore. They installed a drainage system to help with excess runoff, graded the backyard, and laid sod. The grass is coming in beautifully, and the drainage system works like a charm. I appreciated Connor's quick communication and his willingness to hear and address our concerns. Great work. I will be doing business with him again.

A theatre has specific time needs to insure the safety of its patrons and Platinum Horticulture never fails to meet these needs. Any time we have a specific request, it is met and our patrons have a carefree experience. No matter the task, service is delivered promptly and exceeds expectations. I highly recommend Platinum Horticulture for any snow removal needs.

Had a great experience working with Connor of Platinum. We had a large and weed-ridden garden and needed a near-total clean out. We then asked to have them plant native plants to bring about a full look. Connor took it in stride, the guy knows his stuff, and walked us through his vision of having a full garden. We appreciated the professionalism as well as the great job that Platinum did.

We recently hired Platinum Horticulture for some landscaping needs. We found Connor and his crew to be the best. Connor was creative in his landscaping ideas. The communication with him in every step of the process has been great. Even after the work had been completed and paid for, we hear back promptly when we reach out with questions. His crew was professional, courteous and respectful of our property when they were here. They are a reflection of their boss. We look forward to working with Connor and Platinum Horticulture for our future landscaping projects.

We highly recommend Platinum Horticulture!! Connor has been terrific to work with. His crew was fantastic and they performed the Herculean task of clearing our beds of invasive plants (pachysandra and ivy) and weeds, created a new island bed, pruned shrubs, and mulched! The transformation is amazing and beautiful!! Next, Connor will be regrading and prepping our lawn for seeding. Thank you, Connor!

We hired Platinum Horticulture to completely redo our front/backyards with sod after Connor came out to give us an initial estimate. This job included the addition of river rocks and pavers, as well as stump/debris removal. They also redid our front bed with new plants and regraded the yards. Overall, they did a phenomenal job and made sure that we were satisfied with the work done. Connor was very responsive from start to finish and was always available to answer my questions. The work was completed quickly for a fair price that was easy to pay online.

We used Platinum Horticulture for a significant landscape installation, and it turned out fantastic. Connor and his crew were on time, on budget and super professional. They dug the holes by hand and watched out for dog fence wiring and other obstructions that many contractors would hit. Everything looks carefully placed and ready for long-term health. They also buried the downspouts and soaker hoses, while adding new landscape and tree lighting that Connor recommended outside of our plans. The final product looks phenomenal and I would highly recommend Connor and his team for big and small landscape jobs alike.

Platinum does a great job! Connor provides careful instruction to his skillful workers. Connor is very responsive, knowledgeable of plants, and dependable, and his team always leaves our plants and yard looking great. Our older plants have come back to life with Connor’s help over the past 2-3 years as well.

Platinum Horticulture just completed a huge project of installing 3 french drains and doing a large yard clean up. We just moved in this summer and our front and back yard was a mess! Everything now looks beautiful! Connor and his team were super communicative and never hesitated to answer all my questions. For all the work needed plus the french drains, pricing was very reasonable too. We will continue to use Platinum for regular maintenance and I highly recommend you use then too for any of your landscaping needs!

Connor and his team were great. Very quick to respond to provide estimates and the work was done promptly by a very professional and courteous team. Would highly recommend!

Update: Connor and his team installed a new patio for us. Not only were they fairly priced for the work but did an exceptional job and we are very happy with the end result. Definitely would recommend for any hardscaping needs!

The Platinum Horticulture crew that does my lawn work each year are terrific. Not only do they meticulously cut and trim in the tightest corner of my property, when they're finished their cleanup is so thorough you can't tell they were even there.

Turned out amazing!!! I absolutely love my new deck! Dave was thorough from start with estimate and permits through timely installation. Highly recommend D.S. Carpentry, LLC.! Only wish I could add before and after photos, absolutely changed the landscape of my front yard.

I needed an access ramp built onto my house. Dave and Travis did a great job. It came out great! They were responsive and prompt! Will definitely use them again!!

We had our deck partially demolished and rebuilt. Dave recommended good quality materials and made a lot of great suggestions for updates. We wanted a waterproof system installed under the deck for the walk out basement. He installed a system that works amazing and it looks super sweet!!! Dave’s prices are fair for the quality that he brings to the table. We don’t expect to have issues because of missing posts or shoddy work. We highly recommend this company!!

Had DS Carpentry do some work recently . Dave replaced all the interior doors in our house. Also installed new staircase to our basement. He was very professional and reasonably priced. We are very pleased with his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone for your construction needs.
