We have used them twice and referred them often. This past October 2025 they removed a tree and even transplanted our weeping cherry tree for us. I knew this was risky since it was October. The crew was so careful with our tree. Thanks to them it is still alive and sprouted leaves this spring. I will continue to use them for all of our tree needs!

Excellent job taking down a damaged tree of great height. Booked to do more work. Price more than fair. Left property in wonderful condition. Took debris from a previous incident and wood left by another conpany. The best!

Rob came out and gave me an estimate on removing a tree from my front yard. He was able to work with me on the price, and even threw in some shrub removal at no charge. Rob and his guys were at my house a week after giving me an estimate, removed the tree, took care of the stump, and laid grass seed. Totally painless process. I would definitely recommend McCreesh.

We haven't used Mcreesh Tree service in the past for our needs, but we will now! After my son got his drone stuck in the neighbors tree that we couldn't get down, they were the quickest to get back to us. We worked with Scott & his Team and not only was the job done quickly, but it was done with friendliness & respect. I have used McCreesh Tree Services in the past and have recently moved. I have them scheduled to come to remove one tree and trim/thin out four others. I am excited to have them make my yard look beautiful! Rob is the friendliest guy and they have great prices! Everything is taken care of. Thanks for great work. Contacted this company to look at a tree in our back yard. Yesterday I specifically asked them to have the person coming out call me before they arrive so I could get someone to let them in to my backyard. I never receive a call, the guy shows up at my house and begins walking my property. Today I speak to Scott and we agree to him stopping by at 4pm when my son-in-law would be home to let him in to the yard. Not even 20 minutes after I spoke with him, he shows up at my house and starts walking my property AGAIN. I try to get his attention through our security system as he is standing under the speaker, but he ignores it. He places an estimate in my door and again ignores me when I try to get his attention from the security system. I call him back and he tells me he never agreed to 4pm, that I told him I would let my "son" know he was coming and that he wasn't looking for a security system so that's why he didn't hear me calling out to him. He never even knocked on my door or rang my door bell to get my "son's" attention.
How can you have faith and trust in a company that can't follow simple direction, that will just walk on to your property without your knowledge, and be unapologetic? I will be sure to spread the word around as to how unprofessional this company really is.

Gene McCreesh is a certified arborist who cares about the tree's health and natural appearance. His crew works with state of the art equipment making his workers safe and efficient. These industrious group of workers work in teams allowing them to complete an astonishing amount of work in one day. Tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, plus fine tuned clean up.

I would say they are a good company. My only complain was the tree team ran a couple hours late with no call from office or anyone. There was a small miscommunication with work and estimate, the day they came , but estimator I think his name was scott. Came back, spoke to me and was very accommodating to make sure I was satisfied with everything. They did a very good job and cleaned up everything. I would use them again.

Not a customer, but wanted to share a great experience I had in dealing with the owner, Gene McCreesh. In my neighborhood, another homeowner had contracted McCreesh Tree Service for a large tree removal, and PECO shut the power off for the block for the day, citing safety reasons as the tree was overhanging powerlines. After an insane amount of frustration in dealing with PECO trying to get an estimated time of power restoration, I decided just to call McCreesh themselves. I left a message and the owner himself called me back within 5 minutes, and provided a very honest and clear explanation of the situation. It was a night and day difference in customer service than what I had experienced with PECO. If Gene's responsiveness and helpfulness is any indication of their quality of work, I will definitely consider using this company in the future.

We called McCreesh and got our estimate in about 1week and we were so happy with it we signed up right there. We were told they had about two weeks wait and they called about two weeks. They came the next day and were on-time, very professional, and worked like a well oiled machine. Very impressive!

We had six trees taken down, three stumps ground and they cleaned up much better than I could have imagined. Nothing was left and our back yard looks awesome.
Best part is now we don’t need to worry about them hitting our house during the crazy winds we have been having or if we have a heavy snow!
We are very pleased with the entire experience.

What a fabulous team! We were so happy the first time, we hired them again and they were equally fantastic. From Gene, explaining his recommendations and why, to Vince and to the talented, conscientious crew. Each time, they left our place looking better than when they came! I filmed them at times, as they were like acrobats in the trees. Precision at its finest!

This company is top-notch! Scott came out for the estimate and was prompt, professional and extremely personable. I appreciated the fact that he provided an estimate on the spot. I interviewed 2 other tree service companies, but easily settled on McCreesh. Within 2 days of the estimate, our job was completed. The workmen were careful, deliberate, and respectful. They removed our trees, pruned some others and cleaned up every single bit of debris. I cannot say enough good things about this tree service. I highly recommend them and wish I could reward them with 10 stars!
