Metz came in quickly when we called and needed them. They figured out what the issue was right away and scheduled us in to have it fixed. Customer service is attentive and great. The work crew is also friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and was able to thoroughly explain what the problem was that we were having. Good people.

Did my dye test and inspection stuff. After calling several other companies out that were unable to do the work, Nate had it done efficiently and without complaint. If you're needing the tests for Brentwood, can't recommend enough.

Metz is one of the best companies I've EVER worked with and highly recommend them. I had, what we thought, was possibly a 5-foot break in my sewage lateral located under a Pittsburgh city street (without being able to dig up the street to actually look at the problem was making it hard to diagnose and estimate repairs). In the long run, it turns out "my problem" was actually 56-feet of collapsed lateral caused by a utility company who had dug up our street to replace a utility line. If it weren't for Rob Metz's knowledge, guidance and assistance, I'm not sure what I would have done. Even when Rob reached the point that he knew the total responsibility of this repair needed to be handled by the utility company, he continued to work with me to get "my ducks in a row" to be prepared when I met with them. Because of his support and sewage repair knowledge he had shared, I was able to meet with the utility company "loaded for bear". This story has the happiest of endings as the utility company came out and surveyed the problem -- and ended up taking full responsibility for my collapsed lateral and the damage that was caused. Two days later they had an entire crew at my house to install my new lateral. I truly don't know any business owners such as Rob who would have offered the amount of help he offered me. Metz is the kind of company that's hard to find these days -- totally committed to helping the customer with integrity and honesty. Their services and knowledge are invaluable, and if I could give them "20 stars", I would.

Metz Plumbing did the lining of our sewer lateral in order to bring it to code (to pass NAASCO inspection) in Upper St. Clair. They worked seamlessly with Haughey Plumbing (they replaced a sagging section of the sewer line and were also excellent). Once the project was finished, Metz completed the NASSCO video inspection and dye test. They made to easy to schedule, and their technician Nate was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their pricing was very reasonable. It's increasingly rare to find such a gem of a company. I would highly recommend Metz Plumbing!

Metz completely saved me after I had a terrible experience with a very well known (and apparently reputable) other local company. They were able to come out to my new home and quickly establish the problem with my sewer line. They had an amazing crew of guys in my basement for 3 days who were extremely knowledgeable about the entire project and transparent with me through everything. I can't recommend them enough! My only regret was not calling them right away!

The Metz team has been outstanding. They are reliable and efficient. They show up when they say they will and even finished early for the work on our home. They took care of all of the permitting with our borough and prepared in advance by bringing parking cones the evening before so that we weren't out asking our neighbors to move cars in the morning (like we often are with other vendors). We live in a city environment with limited parking and no driveways so this is really important! Would definitely recommend this company.

It was a pleasure to meet the gentlemen that came to work on my Aunts broken sewer line today. Not only were they pleasant to talk to about the job at hand, they explained the process showed me the damage at the trap being removed , and showed me also the video of the iron pipe from the trap to the street at the main sewer line that was broken. I felt confident enough in their visual explanations of the breaks that were in the pipes but also seeing the broken pipes firsthand. Initially I only wanted the trap repaired that we suspected to be the problem for the sewer backup for the last 18 months. However after discussing remedy’s to keep the broken areas from backing up again, it was decided that I would also have the pipe lined to make sure it won’t need repaired again in the future. Of course I’m spending more than my initial investment, but the small amount I’ll be paying on top of the first job is worth the piece of mind that it’s been repaired properly. Thank you Metz plumbing for all your advice and help. I’ll be looking forward to seeing the finished product of a completely dry basement and no sewer backups. .

Had main line backup into basement and decided to call Metz because of the many favorable google reviews. I called at 7AM to leave a message in the office hoping that someone would call when they opened. I was pleasantly suprised to receive a text right away (thank you Jenn) to let me know they got my message and would after 8 am. I received the call and appointment time between 10-1, same day, which was a huge relief! Metz had amazing response time, with multiple text messages from Lanie with time/service info. Nate and Ricky texted at 9:45 to let me know they were on the way!! They were fantastic, knowledgeable, very courteous, answered all our questions! They did the hydro-flush and sewer camera for $299, no add ons or hidden charges. Thank goodness that was all we needed. We were completely satisfied with our service and highly recommend calling Metz!

Our trench-less sewer line was put in on schedule, in the time allotted, and done well and neatly. Price was competitive and reasonable. I would heartily recommend Metz Plumbing.

Didn’t work with them but they responded quickly letting me know my job (stack replacement in a residential home) was out of their wheel house. I appreciate the quick and clear communication from them.
