Very pleased with the work that was done by S&L. Price was competitive with other estimates I received, but unlike other contractors that schedule jobs months in advance, S&L was able to start work in a couple of weeks.
S&L laborers were polite and hard working and actually completed the job sooner than expected. They also cleaned up the yard nicely before leaving. I had no issues with the work that was done and would recommend S&L to anyone that is looking for an honest contractor that does quality work.

In November we had some siding blow off or our house on a very windy day. We were out of town and needed to have it replaced. Steve was one of the numbers I called, and he came out the next day to provide an estimate. His number was very reasonable so I hired him on the spot. In less than a week, Steve was out there and took down the old siding and put up the new. He did a very good job, we were very pleased and would not hesitate to use him again and would recommend to friends.

Steve and his crew were above and beyond accommodating. I found them at the 2024 Pittsburgh Home Show at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
I had a smaller job of a back porch roof.
My slate could not be salvaged at the age it was, and bids from slate installers were well beyond what I wanted to pay.
S & L Remodeling gave me the best option for the slate, but since it is up high and only we can see it, we decided to go with a highly recommended shingle instead.
They replaced my roof, new flashing, facia boards and inspected a made repairs to my copper gutters.
They went above and beyond my expectations.
I had bids from a couple other places, but Steve and his company is what I felt was my best choice. Not a big company that looks as us as ‘just a small job’.
They were quick, cleaned everything up and I could not find one fault, and I am picky.
I recommend them highly and any additional work that I have will be going to them.

Steve and his crew were true to there word! They showed up early and on time. They were very coordinated and knew exactly what they were doing. They wasted no time and finished my whole roof within one day! They did an excellent job at cleaning up everything after the job was complete. You can’t even tell a work crew was there besides the beautiful new roof they completed.

The bad winds the Friday before Christmas caused the siding on my house to lift and flap. I called Steve at S&L that Friday, he came out the same day to assess the damage and provide an estimate. He gave me two; one to repair and the other to replace. I decided to repair and the job was completed quickly. I had called a few other companies for repair estimates but no reply or they just didn't show up. I now believe the job was too small for them to be bothered or the pending holidays. It's so good to know there are still companies that provide good communication start to finish, great service, quality work, reasonable prices and no job is too small. I rarely write reviews but S&L is well deserving. I am in awe of my experience with S&L Remodeling and will use them again in the future.

Steve was able to help us with multiple needs, promptly, professionally and at a reasonable price. He exuded honesty in all of our dealings, and has earned my full trust. I cannot imagine having a better contracting experience, and his crew (Dan, Junior and his co-worker) were highly knowledgeable and hard working. S&L have earned a customer for life!

Steve's was easy to work with and his prices are very fair. He stepped in when no other company's wanted to come out for a small job but he did has some wind damage and some wooden corbels removed as they were rotten and his guys were quick and efficient will be using them again.
