Steve is the real deal- a true artist with plaster and a professional contractor who provided a detailed quote and stuck to it at a reasonable price for the quality of work. He was very flexible and understanding with the scope of work and ensured I was a happy customer.

Steve repaired about 160 holes in our lath and plaster walls (left over from extensive electrical work). He did an excellent job, and we would often forget he was even in our house. Steve is great at what he does and the patched holes look fantastic--he even worked to match the textures of our existing walls. But Steve really stands out when it comes to clean up. At the end of each day he would meticulously clean the dust, debris, plaster, etc. Again, it was like he wasn't even there! Highly recommend.

Steve completely restored our curved ceilings in the most masterful way. My husband who is very fussy about the work folks do on our 100+ year old home insisted I write a glowing review. We aren’t sure how he restored our cracked, stained, earlier damaged ceiling but just look for yourself. It’s flawless. Magician. 10/10 stars.

We hired Steve to repair our plaster walls after some extensive electrical work, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Our century-old house had about 125 holes that needed patching, and Steve handled every single one with exceptional skill and care. His attention to detail is incredible—he matched the texture of our old plaster walls beautifully, which is no small feat in a house this age.

Steve has over 35 years of experience, and it absolutely shows in the quality of his work. He kept everything extremely clean throughout the process, which we really appreciated. I actually chose him based on online reviews without meeting him in person for a quote, and I’m so glad I trusted the feedback—he completely lived up to the praise.

Clennel did a repair job on the plaster crown mounding in our living room after some water damage. You cannot tell it was ever damaged; the repair is absolutely seamless. The process was straightforward and communication was always open, from the estimate, to the job, to final payment - the job came in nearly to the dollar of the initial estimate. Plus, Clennel and his team are a joy to deal with!

Absolute Awesome Job!!! I had ice damn build up which destroyed the whole front of my house. I had plaster walls with a cove ceiling & very detailed crown molding that was not available in stores that had been torn out by the restoration company (that I will not mention the name because they were unsatisfactory on there time frame to getting my house back) but Lakeside painting was a subcontractor of the restoration company. The detail to the plaster coves that I thought would be impossible to match the rest of the house was impressive on how perfect it blended in with the ceiling. Crown molding was another problem which I thought could not be matched but Clanelle literally (as I watched) hand made the crown molding to match perfectly the rest of the house. Clanelle noticed & addressed other issues that the restoration company missed & made sure to let them know what they missed. He explained from day 1 what they were gonna do & kept me updated on the progress. I can't explain in words how professional this company is. Thank you Clanelle, Lisa & Lakeside Painting & Plaster for getting my house back. A-1 5 star service.

I can’t say enough good things about Lakeside Painting and plaster. They showed up on time, communicated the process and did a wonderful job with my sons room. They had done work on a previous project for me by painting my fence at my old house. Both times they were professional, pricing was fair and their work was amazing. I do plan on hiring them again for future projects.

Lisa and Clennel at Lakeside Painting and Plaster were a dream to work with from start to finish! They redid our entire living room plaster ceiling, fixed plaster walls and painted in our 1922 home. They started and ended the job as promised, didn't make a mess and their work is flawless! They had 2 other gentleman working for them that were a pleasure to have in our home as well. Clennel and team are amazing! From the very professional estimate appointment to the thorough and caring way that Clennel and his team taped off and fixed very bad plaster to the beautiful painting and cleanup they are awesome and amazing. My Sterling Heights home was built in 1950. I had a delamination issue on my living room ceiling. I also had a popcorn ceiling in my living room hallway that was done by the previous owner and also needed repair to my wet plaster in some areas of the hallway. Clennel is an "Artist"! My living room ceiling came out beautiful and my hallway ceiling and repairs looks as though it was done back in 1950. Clennel is very clean, conscience and most importantly, he has integrity. I would recommend him for any wet plaster repair and painting. He may run behind schedule, but he is well worth the wait.

Clennel and Terry did an excellent job repairing an area of water damage to my living room wall (a 1920's home with a very difficult textured plaster to match). I am very happy with their work, quick response time, and overall pleasant demeanor! I would recommend Lakeside Plaster to anyone who needs plaster repair. I've included a before and after photo.

Lakeside Painting & Plaster's work is outstanding. I was taught the fine skill and trade of wet plaster as a child and in my current house have undertaken smaller projects. But the kitchen wall required a professional company, old school wet plaster (lol.) From the moment I contacted the company, the prompt response, I exhaled and it's just been a wonderful and engaging experience. The owner showed up, prepared a detailed estimate and was so warm and friendly and yes, very professional. I was pleased with pricing and estimated time frame to start and complete the project. When you call the company, if they are busy or take a minute to return your call, hold on because it was worth the scheduling process. Clennel came out to repair some cracks we had in our plaster. Initially we thought we could take on the job ourselves but quickly realized we needed help from a pro. He was very professional, quick, clean and helpful in explaining the plaster process! He worked on the job over 3 days and the results are nothing short of astounding! You would never tell any crack existed. I cant recommend him or his work enough! He will get the job done right and for a fair price. Plaster repair people are hard to find but look no further than Lakeside Painting and Plaster Repair!

Clennel is truly a master at his craft. I had a plumbing leak upstairs that leaked through the floor and destroyed the ceiling below. You can see from the pictures what an amazing job he did. He was extremely professional and took every precaution not to damage any other property along the way. If your looking to have work done....you have found your man.
