They won’t offer pricing until a tech is in your home, I was quoted $325 to snake a clogged toilet. I guess their business model is to assume you’ll pay anything they ask since you’ve already waited for them to arrive and they’re standing right in front of you. After kindly telling the tech he could leave (not his fault) I called Service Professor and got the job done for $19.99.

We had a backup over the weekend, and were able to manage for a day or so to avoid an emergency call to the house. David and Andrew showed up as scheduled early Monday. They were on time, polite, and ready to get down to business. I explained what happened, what I suspected the issue was, and what we did after it happened. They listened, explained what likely happened (with near 100% certainty), and then got to work running water and watching the plumbing to make sure there were no additional problems going on. They suggested a toilet pull and re-fit with new wax ring; but didn't push me to have them do it, as I've done at least basic work like that several times. After that, they gave me some pointers on what to look out for, how to avoid this in the future, and left me to it.

Professional, prompt, polite, and thurough. Even told me what to keep an eye on and to give them a call if something else popped up, but most importantly gave me the confidence that the situation is under control! I'd call t hem again if I need plumbing attention!

The service person was able to get here sooner than I was originally told. They asked if that was ok - so great communications. And, my problem was resolved quickly and efficiently, and the service person was professional as well as friendly and upbeat. Great job all the way around!

They refused to give me any pricing information over the phone. Said a technician would have to come out. This is for a standard service. They would not even give a "call" fee.

I recommend avoiding this company. I had them out to try and clear an underground drain pipe for the gutter system. They were recommended by the landscape company since the pipe ran under concrete and they had no easy way to replace it. This company was not transparent with pricing over the phone. They said it was 70ish dollars for the service call and the tech would give pricing after assessing the situation. After getting here, he told me it was a flat $1395 to clear the pipe. He hadn't assessed anything at that point and they could easily have told me this over the phone. I had a bunch of things going on and agreed, since I was on the spot and didn't have time consider it. I should have just said no and tried someone else, but I really needed the pipe cleared. He ended up working less than an hour and was unsuccessful in clearing it. He did help with another pipe that didn't matter as much since it could be easily replaced. He knocked $400 off since they didn't clear the main problem, but was still awful expensive for the service given.

They were available for inspection and appointment quickly, and even showed me the inside of the pipe via their camera line while doing repairs. The tech explained ways to avoid a similar clog issue in the future which was super helpful! Will definitely go to them again if I ever have another pipe issue.

Technician came on time, provided professional services and was pleasant. he knew his business and he kept working to fix our problem until it was completed. The only suggestion I have is perhaps Roto Rooter provide him with plastic to put down where his tools sit. He did have something, but you could tell he had to use that everywhere he went. Such to avoid any kind of cross, contamination, maybe a sheet of plastic at each house. Otherwise, a perfect visit!
