It was a pleasure working with Codogno Construction on one of my customer’s projects. Their team was professional, communicative, and truly dedicated to delivering top-quality work. After the new storm door was installed on the new basement door, there is a two inch gap at the bottom between the two doors. This makes having a storm door kind of silly. The original installer said nothing can be done by him because he didn’t install the original door. Codogno Construction was sent to see what can be done.

The owner (William) was on time, friendly and he listened carefully. He informed me the best solution was to reframe the basement door further out by two inches to close the gap.

The work performed over the next few hours was meticulous. He made improvements as he went. He added insulation where there were none, a new rain cap over the door, and finally reinforcing the outside trim, as the storm door was mounted just on the trim of the door (a decision made by the previous installer).

The gap is now gone. The storm door is rock solid, and the cleanup was phenomenal. You never know he was there.

This type of workmanship and work ethic is hard to come by these days. I can without hesitation recommend Codogno Construction to my friends and relatives.

We've used Will and his team on several projects around the house, all with excellent results. Two involved outdoor skilled carpentry repairs requiring new siding that Will was able to do before winter set in. He also helped us recently mount our new TV to the wall.
