Remodeler reviews across the US

After we purchased a home the shower leaked and destroyed our bathroom and adjacent bedroom. Southern Home Remodeling not only repaired the damage, they helped us redesign our bathroom and we now have our dream shower. They explained the process throughly, included pricing that included all the materials and shower fixtures, and since they were so through we did not have any change orders. I rarely provide personal recommendations however I highly recommend using Southern Home Remodeling.

Jake was extremely responsive and I was able to send him pictures of my issue over text. But we discovered my problem exceeded our current budget since we moved into our house recently. However, Jake did not end the call there like most people would when they heard they would not be getting paid. He talked to me and my wife for nearly half an hour on the phone and gave us so many great tips on how we could get the job done ourselves... along with the products we needed and where to get them. We were not actual clients of Southern Home Remodeling but they treated us like family anyways and we are extremely grateful.

My experience with Southern Home Remodeling was very positive. Scope of work was a mix between framing, sheetrock, masonry, and baseboard work as well as glass replacement. All work was done in a timely manner, terms were easy and affordable. Finished product is very satisfactory. I will definitely use them in the future. Thank you Jake and Chris!

I’ve worked with Southern Home Remodeling twice for bathroom renovations. Both times, I’ve been impressed with their project management and quality of work. Before they start, a project manager will visit and send an itemized quotes for the work you describe along with budgets for things like tile selection and hardware. Communication is great with SHR. I’ve always known when their crews were scheduled to arrive and if there would be any schedule changes in advance. They use plastic coverings and paper to help keep things clean and even send cleaners afterwards to ensure you’re getting a ready to use remodel the day they finish. Both bathroom projects took a couple weeks to complete with crews coming in nearly daily. The demo team in both projects have gotten a bit overzealous and damaged nearby cabinets or dry wall. In both cases, SHR made the repairs covered under the original quote. Working with Southern Home Remodeling is all around an excellent experience, so what are you waiting for?

Great company, I highly recommend them. I was hesitant at first to call them because my project was small compared to others. I'm so glad I did! They are professional, thorough, and care about the customer. I will use them again.

Southern Home Remodeling did an excellent job! Very thorough and also takes the time to explain what’s going on, also what needs to be done and gives knowledgeable tips as well. Will use again for future projects

This is the second time we have used Southern Home Remodeling and again very pleased with the outcome. Last year we had a complete new walk in shower install. After a year we are still impressed with the quality. This year we called them to install an outside vent for our new over the range microwave, again excellent work. We would recommend them for all home remodeling projects..

Highly Recommend! They converted about 800-900 sqft of attic space into a theater and office for us. They did amazing work and matched everything to the rest of the house so it doesn't look like an addition. They were very responsive and addressed every question and concern we had. We will absolutely be using them again for future projects.

Trustworthy & amazing quality if you are looking for any home services/remodel I highly recommend Southern Home!

Had a fairly quick and easy process for my project. The customer service and communication with the contractor was great.

Very responsive to my questions and he was open to suggestions on my project and he was flexible with changes I wanted.

I really appreciated the communication, expertise, and feedback on questions I had for my project.

This company always does a great job! Their attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service is top notch. Highly recommend!

I must say that Southern Home Remodeling is a great company. My bathroom remodel came out beautiful! The workers are polite and did such a great job. Any mishaps were quickly fixed. Communication with Chris was good. Texts and phone calls were answered in a timely matter. I would recommend this company for any kind of remodeling or just something to fix. They do it all and at a fair price. Give them a call!!

Cris and his team were amazing to work with. We had a project that included framing work in the attic, installing a French drain, adding gutters, and updating siding and paint. From the begining Cris was professional, updated us regularly, stuck to his quoted price and timeline. His crew was respectful and attentive to details. We are thankful for the great work they did!

In just 4 days, Southern Home remodeling transformed our patio into pure perfection. Impeccable workmanship, stunning results. Plus, their value for money is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

We used Southern Home Remodeling for a luxurious spa master bathroom remodel. I first put out requests to 3 different companies. Southern Home Remodeling got back to us within 4 hours, that’s amazing! They are very responsive to all of our questions and queries. Our bathroom design was loaded with extravagant spa goodies with a smidgen of high-tech, and that meant skilled labor with attention to detail and implemented with precision. The crew met our needs, and met our expectations. I am very pleased with SHR and continue to use them.

We reached out to SHR when the bathtub in our secondary bathroom sprang a leak. We had always imagined that eventually we would convert the tub to a walk-in shower as my mother lives with us. The leak just sped up our timeline :) Luckily, SHR was able to schedule the project to start within a week of the initial consultation and estimate. They let us know where to pick out the tile and fixtures, which made the process super easy. The tiler did absolutely gorgeous work and their cleaners post-project went above and beyond putting our bathroom back in usable working order. We now have a beautiful walk-in shower that will work for my mom as she ages and I could not be happier with how it looks.

I now have a beautifully, remodeled master bath, specifically designed for 'aging in place'. We changed the foot print of our master by getting rid of the old tub and replacing it with this 6ft. by 4 ft. walk in shower. We got rid of the large window and replaced it with the privacy window. You can't see it in these pictures, but we had Southern Home Remodeling make us an additional linen closet in the spot where we had a 3 ft. by 3 ft shower. We are thrilled with the results. SHR kept to their time line and they were always professional.

Christian and his workmen did a great job of remodeling my master bathroom to make it safer for this 85-year-old. It turned out just as I hoped it would, giving me a safe and beautiful space. Everyone that came into my home were hard workers and respectful of my time and space. I can easily recommend this company for a project you might like to have done. Many thanks to Christian and his crew. As I looked through the photos and videos on this site, I saw several of the job done in my home.

Great experience! They kept to their timelines and were always professional and communicated well. They turned our old out of date bathroom into a wonderful spa! Loved working with them and definitely recommend.

Absolutely could not recommend more. We are telling everyone. They undertook a huge attic renovation and blew us away. They hand catered every need and made adjustments everywhere. The communication was next level as well. Truly the best experience I have had with any purchase.

Southern Homes Remodeling deserves every accolade for their remarkable bathroom remodeling work. With precision, they transformed our tub into a stunning shower enclosure. Their responsiveness throughout the process was exceptional. The high quality of their workmanship is evident in every detail. They took extra care in protecting our wooden floors and even arranged for professional cleaners after the project. We are incredibly satisfied with our experience and highly recommend Southern Homes Remodeling for their top-notch service.
