Remodeler reviews across the US

I cannot say enough good things about JL Homebuilders. They completed a full restoration of my two-bedroom condo, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish.

The craftsmanship and skill of the workers were outstanding. This is clearly a well-led, highly organized team that takes pride in their work. Justin, the owner, runs a tight ship—professional, responsive, and completely on top of every detail.

The schedule was tight and they delivered exactly as promised. There was no downtime, no excuses, and no nonsense. The price was more than fair for the quality, speed, and efficiency of the work performed.

I am still genuinely shocked by how quickly the project was completed and how incredible the final result is. The condo is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a builder who delivers efficiency, quality, and results without drama, JL Homebuilders is the real deal.

Highly recommend!

Justin and his team did an incredible job renovating my home. They completely transformed my kitchen, removing the old bulkhead, moving the gas line, redoing the flooring, installing brand new cabinets, cutting/staining/installing beautiful butcher block counters, installing a new sink with new plumbing, and finishing it all with an incredible backsplash. The space feels brand new and far beyond what I imagined.

They also updated my bathroom, repaired water damage on my living room ceiling (my walls and ceiling have a very complex texture, and they matched it so perfectly you’d never know there was ever a leak), changed out my light fixtures, and installed new front, basement, and screen doors with excellent attention to detail.

The crew was quick, reasonably priced, professional, and their craftsmanship is outstanding. They were easy to communicate with and clearly take pride in their work.

If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy renovation team, I can’t recommend Justin and his crew enough. 10/10 experience.

I have had several jobs done by JL Homebuilders and honestly I could not be happier with the work. I have had a new concrete walkway poured, new Hardibacker siding put on and painted, a new porch roof, and my entire attic insulated and drywalled. All of the works was great and the pricing was reasonable. I have recommended them many times and everyone that has used them has bent extremely happy with the work they had done.

I’ve worked with JL Homebuilders on several gut rehabs over the years, and they consistently stand out. They’re by far the fastest at providing proposals, and they follow through with dependable service. Projects move quickly without sacrificing quality, and thanks to their large staff, the lead time to get started is usually just a few days to a week.

I also appreciate their fairness on change orders they don’t overcharge. Throughout the project they stand by their mantra: “It’s the right thing to do.” I recommend JL to anyone looking for quality, dependable work on a tight timeline.

Justin and his team are outstanding at what they do. Another contractor that we have been working with backed out at the last minute and within two days, Justin had a full crew here replacing our patio, driveway, and renovating our kitchen. JL Homebuilders is a team of skilled, friendly, And hard-working professionals. I was very impressed with the quality of the work and how fast they were able to get our house ready to move in. I also appreciated how collaborative Justin and team were and helping us renovate our dream home.

I am in love with my new kitchen from JL HomeBuilders! When I bought my house I knew I wanted to remodel the kitchen immediately and I’m so glad I had JL do it. They did quality work at a reasonable price and were done in less than a month. It’s been a few weeks since they finished up and I still just find myself starring at it I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Everyone that came through the house during the project was nice, respectful, and easy to work with. And any concerns that came up during the process were addressed immediately.

JL will be the first call for all my future projects.

Replaced posts for carport. Wonderful service!

Very good work and reasonable pricing on enlarging windows

Great remodeling work. Prompt, expert service. Super communications throughout the process. This Company is reliable and does exactly what they say. Honest and no games.

Great job on replacement of a rotting rail on our front porch area. We went with composite materials for longevity and the installation was professional and looks great!

Remodeled vanity and bath area including removing tub and replacing with walk-in shower. Love the results and very pleased with how smoothly things went from start to finish. The work was completed according to the contract time frame, experienced excellent workmanship and no subcontractors were involved making for easy work flow. Those involved were very dependable, honest and professional. My experience was very positive giving this company an A+ rating.

Remodel Cincinnati did a full remodel on a bathroom for us and we could not be more pleased. Everyone was very east to work with, responsive and we are thrilled with our new bathroom. Highly recommend!!!

I have a new home where the shower was not correctly installed. The tile under the shower door was cracked and the large shower sunk a bit . My neighbor recommended Remodel and I am glad he did. The gentleman who came to fix it has worked there for 40 some years and you could not wish for a more competent and neater person to do that job. He also added a bench and handlebar to the shower... Great appearance and wonderful work. My daughter said she will call them for her repairs..

Remodel Cincinnati is by far the best end to end remodeling company. I give them my highest endorsement and strongest recommendation. If you're interested in working with a company that has expert professionalism, treats you with kindness, respect, and consideration, and does pristine, thorough, and amazing work, look no further than Remodel Cincinnati.
When we first started looking to redo our kitchen, Remodel was the only company who happily gave me the time of day, answering a myriad of questions without ever making me feel rushed or unwanted, and did so while knowing that I wasn't sure whether we would even be doing the work at that time or not. Once we did, Remodel helped us every step of the way, making the process as easy and seamless as possible. Remodel shared their expertise freely and their guidance was ALWAYS in line with our stated interests--other than Remodel, I've never had a company tell me "I don't think you should do that [more expensive thing] and here's the reason why."
Remodel worked with us and listened to us to provide us with what we needed--not what they thought we needed, but what we actually needed. Remodel never once pressured us into anything. Every project we've done with Remodel has been precise and accurate from everything to do with cost down to timing. Unlike with other companies, with Remodel Cincinnati there were never any surprises, unexpected costs, or delays. Remodel Cincinnati is professional, punctual, efficient, polite, respectful, considerate, etc., always mindful of those living in the house and doing everything possible to keep noise and disruption to a minimum. Across all the projects we've done with Remodel, there has not been a single time where Remodel didn't show up and every day, they are punctual/on time and always respectful. Moreover, after every single project we've done Remodel has done a thorough and amazing job cleaning up--they've never left a mess, which, I can't even begin to describe how enabling that's been.
With Remodel Cincinnati you get what you pay for--you get excellence, no surprises, transparency, thoughtfulness, helpfulness, and genuine caring. In an industry where there are so many "horror stories," having a company like Remodel Cincinnati who's the exact opposite is truly a blessing. Unfortunately, I cannot adequately capture just how amazing Remodel Cincinnati is to work with. Suffice it to say (again), I give Remodel Cincinnati my highest endorsement and strongest recommendation.

We had the good fortune to be referred to Steve Zimmer and his company for a bathroom remodel we wanted done to make it handicap accessible for my 95 yo father. Once we approved the plans and cost and found our way onto their schedule, the work was completed in a timely manner. Greg, who did the work, worked efficiently, quietly and left the work area neat and tidy every evening. They made sure to include my father's input so the grab bars would be placed where he needed them to be. Steve was very responsive to our calls and questions. I highly recommend them and will use their services again if and when the need arises.

Steve just remodeled our master bath and we could not be happier. He worked with us through the whole process from planning, recommending vendors and installation. No detail was too small for his attention. The whole process was seamless. Once the actual installation started Greg was here every day and worked diligently. We hardy knew he was in our home. Precision and promptness should be their tagline. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Remodel Cincinnati did a wonderful job on our new deck and remodel of the existing porch. Steve and Greg were very professional from the start and exceeded our expectations for the project. Everything was TOP SHELF, and the workmanship
was exceptional. I would recommend Remodel Cincinnati to all if you have a project and want it done well!!!

Steve's team (including Doug - an expert craftsman) did a wonderful remodel job on our kitchen a few years ago and recently on our bathroom. He is focused on getting it right and making good decisions up front and the follow through is seamless, on schedule, and on budget. After several years our "new" kitchen is still fresh and contemporary and our very new bathroom makes a world of difference in our 100+ year old bungalow. I recommend Remodel Cincinnati to all Cincy homeowners! Jenny Evans

Remodel Cincinnati has done numerous home improvement projects for us in the past two years. They did a wonderful job finishing a room in our basement, as well as numerous smaller projects. Steve and Greg are a pleasure to work with. Steve has always taken the time to clearly discuss all options, and detail the cost and scheduling. Greg’s craftsmanship and attention to detail make him great to work with. I am confident when Remodel Cincinnati is working on our home that we will be happy with the result. I would highly recommend them for all home projects large and small.

Remodel Cincinnati just completed remodeling of one of our bathrooms. This is the third project they have done for us. What best describes this company? ...... excellent quality, high integrity, great ideas, excellent communications, timeliness, good value ...... they are the best! We are again, very pleased with the work they have done.

We had a tile walk in shower that was leaking at the base into the basement. We met with several area bathroom remodel companies. They all wanted to do extensive, costly renovations whereas we wanted to maintain the retro nature of the room and keep costs under control. Steve, owner of Remodel Cincinnati, understood what we wanted and made a proposal that would solve our problem .and not break the bank. We also added some much needed refresh projects including an exhaust fan, electrical outlet and some grout and caulk work.

When the time came, Greg was our installer. He was consistently on time, kept a clean work space and most of all did great work. He also discovered and corrected some potentially dangerous wiring faults in our old system. He was patient to answer my many questions along the way and offer suggestions on the current project and possible future considerations. Steve and Greg are very experienced. This is craftsmanship, not a prefabricated overlay.

The project came out better than I envisioned. Communication was thorough throughout the process, pricing fair and final bill reflected the initial agreement. Steve backs up the work, giving us peace of mind. We have some additional projects we are now considering and would plan to use Steve, Greg and Remodel Cincinnati without hesitation.
